"Absolutely not."

Luo Muchen couldn't understand why two big men would squeeze in with each other like packed sardines when there was so much space. It was a very interesting thing to watch.

He suddenly glanced at Qie Xieling who was stuffing his face with steamed wontons with a look of contentment in his eyes. Seeing those stuffed cheeks like that of a hamster he had the urge to poke them but before his stubborn fingers could even do it, he heard Qie Xieling's taller father saying,

"Here, try this. I peeled it for you and dipped it already." Curious Luo Muchen turned to look at them and saw the taller one of the two feeding Qie Xieling's other dad.

"You like it?" asked Qie Ranzhe his hand wrapped around Wen Qinxi's waist.

"Mmm... it's good. Which sauce was that?" replied Wen Qinxi while Qie Ranzhe wiped the corner of Wen Qinxi's lips with his thumb.

He was about to respond when Wen Qinxi noticed Qie Xieling only eating wontons with no vegetables in sight. He pinched some stir-fried green beans in between his chopsticks and instructed Qie Xieling to open his mouth.

"Eat," he said and Qie Xieling turned his head to the side refusing.

"I don't like it," said Qie Xieling but the look on his father's face wiped away all his resistance. He opened his mouth and took the tiniest bite ever.

Qie Ranzhe called out, "Lin Lin," his tone filled with warning. Qie Xieling almost wailed as he ate the entire thing.

"Good job honey," said Wen Qinxi but Qie Xieling wasn't enjoying the praise. He was chewing with a look of disgust on his face.

Luo Muchen took a prawn and peeled it before moving his hand to place it in Qie Xieling's bowl but what did Qie Xieling do?

He moved his face forward and ate from his hand. Luo Muchen froze his brain short-circuiting for a moment but the culprit kept eating like nothing happened.

Qie Ranzhe who was joining in on the heated conversation happening on the other side of the table saw this and squinted his eyes looking at this Luo kid. He didn't want to believe it but he couldn't shake this strange feeling.

His son was probably used to Wen Qinxi and grandma Qie feeding him that he didn't even think twice but still. And once Luo Muchen did it once he also did it twice. Like an idiot, his son was being fattened up for slaughter. Fine, he was probably thinking too much but damn now that the thought had taken root he couldn't think of anything else.

He had to put an end to this but before he could say anything the door slid open and Miss Luo walked in before saying, "Good evening. I heard you have someone that belongs to me."

Qie Xieling couldn't wait to send off this ancestor so he outed him immediately. "Luo Muchen your mum is here. Miss Luo, you can take him with you."

Everyone, "..."

"This kid is growing a tail," said nana Wen through gritted teeth while nana Qie laughed nervously.

"Your son is a really well-behaved kid. He wanted to give you lovers some space that's all," she said and Miss Luo smiled.

"He is too good, isn't he? Thank you for watching him for me. I am sorry if he inconvenienced you in any way," she said suppressing her true feelings. She really didn't like this Qie kid at all.

"Uh, he was no trouble at all. We should have more play dates," said nana Wen and the two dads lowered their heads in embarrassment. How were they supposed to tell their mothers that their grandson was terrorising that kid at any given opportunity? Of course, Luo Muchen's mother would say no.

"He would be very busy preparing for elementary school but maybe in the future," she said before turning to her son who remained seated, "Mu Mu let's go."

Luo Muchen wanted to stay but his mother looked like she had drunk a few and that Marvin might try to wiggle his way into their house.

He got up and bowed his head thanking them for accommodating him. Nana Wen and nana Qie couldn't help but make awww sounds while calling him adorable.

As soon as Luo Muchen left, the room fell into silence and the two ladies glared at their grandson. "Lin Lin why are you so mean?" said grandma Wen. She couldn't believe her grandson could be this rude.

"Ma... that's the boy he hit before," said Wen Qinxi and nana Qie almost choked on the wine she was sipping.

"Well, that must have been very awkward," said Wen Danzhe stifling his laughter.

Meanwhile, Luo Muchen was receiving an earful from his mother and Marvin had been cast aside.

When the chauffeur brought the Maybach to the front of the restaurant she told him to get in the car and told Marvin they would meet tomorrow or something before angrily getting in.

Marvin, "..."

Luo Muchen just sat there quietly while his mother yelled, "That kid hit you and just like an idiot you go over there to eat their food. Am I starving you? Is that it? Today you are going to watch a movie with me and eat a tub of ice cream whether you like it or not. That's your punishment."

Luo Muchen like always didn't say anything. He was just looking down at his fingers that were almost bitten twice by that hamster.

If Qie Xieling knew that Luo Muchen's secret nickname for him was hamster he might up his prank game and make him even more miserable. He was sitting in the car with his head leaning against the door while rubbing his tummy which was so jovial and full.

Wen Qinxi looked back and said, "Lin Lin you should be friends with Luo Muchen. He is smart and seems to like being friends with you."

Father and son replied simultaneously.

Qie Xieling, "No."

Qie Ranzhe, "Absolutely not."

Wen Qinxi, "???"

"What do you mean no? Even your grandma and nana liked him so much. You said you always wanted a friend so why can't you be friends with him?"

Qie Xieling sat up straight and said, "I have a friend already. His name is Chubs so I don't need any more friends."

"Yes he doesn't need any more friends," said Qie Ranzhe backing up his son with no hesitation.
