14 THOMAS WAS HAPPY KNOWING HE GET WHAT HE WANTED

Entering the room, Thomas looks for her but she was nowhere in sight.

Checking the washroom recalling that's where she was heading for when she hurried out of the van, but it was empty.

Thinking, 'She must have brought her bag in the room now that we are married.

Looking around but it wasn't anywhere either. 'I am sure she must have gone to her friend Michelle's room, or maybe Aliza's room.'

Removing his suit racking it up knowing it has to be taken to the dry cleaners.

Thomas ponders in his heart, 'I should go and freshen up first then begin my search. I hope this won't become a habit?

The way she was angry with me, she might think that she could stay away from my room and me.'

Taking a long bath feeling cool, smiling as memories replay in his mind. 'I will have to be patient and gentle with her. She is angry with me for defiling her body.

I know I have put her in the spot proposing to her, but the way I felt last night. I seize the opportunity, because if she had left I may never feel that way again, and I wasn't willing to take that risk.

Recalling how he had lost all his self-control with her touch. Now if she was awake I would believe that she had bewitched me.

But she was asleep and if she could get me to that place of pleasure being asleep. Then I can't wait for when she accepted this marriage and me as her husband.

Now I know with all the crying she was not prepared for what happened. I can't forgive myself for desecrating her body. But with time we will get to know each other.

I am aware that she is scared not knowing me and besides this sudden marriage. I am sure she must be so afraid and confused with everything that has happened to her within these twenty-four hours.'

Whispering a prayer, "Father, I know now that it was you that has helped me to remove the blunder from my path.

Thank you for doing it in such a subtle way, that no one will be able to suspect anything."

Thomas smiles, 'Now I don't have to explain to anyone, and I have fulfilled my promise and get the desire of my heart.'

Dressing in short pants and a jersey, as memories flashback.

'Having to wait for her at the airport, 'Who would have thought that yesterday? I will be married to her today.'

Resting his hand on his chest, "Thank You Lord I get my heart's desire. You have made me so happy for opening that door so we can be together."

Laughing as the thought struck him, "Oh my God, I was waiting for my wife and I didn't even know it."

Recalling how angry he was, 'Thinking, she knew it was I while she was just relaxed and comfortable.

If anyone of us had known this would have happened today. We might have turned tail and returned to our home immediately. But none of us knows what our tomorrow holds for us.'

Unable to control his laughing. Thomas thought, 'Having to go and search for her when we came home.

Then at the auditorium, after he had spoken to Maggie then Anette. Now I am about to do the same thing again.

I only hope this won't continue. I am a very busy person and this is new to me.'

Wiping his face wondering why the tears? 'Is it because I am happy and get what I wanted?'

Stepping out of his room standing in the corridor. Seeing, 'Mom and Dad, just sitting looking in the direction of my room.

'I know they must be red with rage about my spur of the moment decision. I have always allowed them to dictate my life before.

With what had happened last night, this was one time I had to move quickly. Not giving anyone the upper hand to change the course.'

Ignore the way they were glaring at him, he went to Aliza's room, thinking. 'I must find a way to make her realize that this marriage is not some compromise.

She might think it to be a compromise on my path, according to what she said before we leave the auditorium. Also, I want her to be happy, now that we are married.

If only she could recall her dream, and what had occurred between us. Then we will be united and share more of what had happened last night.

Oh God, if that could happen sooner than later, You will make me the happiest man in the world."

Two hours later after showering and changing, Christa whispers to herself, "Right now all I need is something hot to drink, to stop this rumbling in my stomach."

Opening Michelle's door, Christa see the corridor was clear. Stepping out observing how huge the house was.

"Oh boy, this house is so big, I might get lost, but I don't think the kitchen will be difficult to find."

Creeping down the stairs, so if anyone were to look out, the banister would shield her.

In the kitchen seeing the number of different types of tea brands. "Oh God, all I wanted is something hot to help me sleep."

Checking the refrigerator to see what she could find. Seeing a bottle of milk, taking it up but Christa held back for a moment.

"I can't drink this, the label is removed, this brand of milk might give me diarrhea." Jumping when the angry grouchy voice shouted at her.

"What are you doing in my kitchen?" Spinning around in such haste, the milk fell from Christa's hand and spilled all over the floor.

Feeling her body trembling the way she had gotten frightened. Christa heard the grouchy voice speak even louder.

Afraid to look at her face Christa thinks as she was demanded to look at her. Slowly raising her head as she stares at the woman in her face.

She is in her sixties and standing with her hand on her waist glaring at her, with her bulgy eyes rolling grokking at her.
