2 What happened to the story?

Yuki let out a sigh of relieve as the pain slowly subsided. She looked around the plain room, and strangely it all seemed so familiar yet strange at the same time. With nothing else to look at , her eyes shifted to the maid who was preparing a warm cloth for her. The maid then went out and returned with a small tray and placed it in front of Yuki. It was just a small bowl of mushroom soup and hard bread, unfit for a Duke's daughter.

Famished for some reason, Yuki gobbled down the soup and finish the rock hard bread given to her. She then dismissed the maid and walked towards the closet to dress herself. She open it, expecting colourful puffy dresses, but all she saw were plain and simple dresses, with no frills or embedded jewels, just plain light coloured dresses.

She frowned at the idea that she wouldn't be able to dress fancy in this era as she always wanted to try those fancy dresses for events like these.

' Haiz...at least these dresses look comfortable. ' she thought to herself.

Although she posses the body of 'Yuki' , there is still much more for her to learn about this world.

She plopped herself onto the chair, staring blankly at the ceiling. 'If I'm in Yuki's body... Am I dead? Did I survive the accident? 'she questioned. She dove deeper into the possibilities but soon gave up even thinking about it. 'Let's just worry about what will happen to me in this world. If I don't want to die I better start planning now' she motivated herself as she reached for a pen and paper.

'Okay...Tomorrow, Liam, who's my half brother will enter the family...' she mumbled.

'What do I do to make sure he doesn't harm me? If I stand up for him... Wouldn't that result in me being brutally beaten? Is befriending him even possible? How am I suppose to help him without getting bashed by those cunning barbarians?' Yuki drowned herself with even more questions.

'Urgh!' she grunted as she scratched her head with her two hands in frustration.

'Oh thats right!' Her face lit up as the thought of an amazing idea popped up . 'If I remembered correctly, there should be a secret hideout in the back garden.' No one knows of this of course. Yuki stumbled apon it when she was five and uses that place as a hideout when her sister bullied her. She could bring Liam there to hide and then both of them wouldn't be bullied! Though, that's not a long term solution.

Yuki wasn't beautiful and elegant like her sister , Breiana. She had dazzling ocean blue eyes along with curly golden locks that shone brightly under the sun. Her beauty was compareable to the impirial princess, and as disturbing as it sounds, already had alot of marriage proposals written to her for the future at the age of twelve. She was also far more skilled than Yuki in terms of studies as she had the best teachers to tutor her everyday.

Unlike her, Yuki has jet black coloured hair. Her waves were unkept and messy, often times tangled. Her eyes were of a dull brown colour, never as pretty as her sister's blue eyes. Her frail and short frame made her look weak and like those beggers on the streets. She never recieved education and whatever she knew was what she read in books.

She scribbled down a few key points in her paper to which stated :

To do:

1. Protect Liam

2. Get better academically

3. Groom myself

She looked at the list. Satisfied, she placed her pen down.

Suddenly, a knock came from her door. 'Miss, it's me' a maid replied. Judging by her voice, it was the one that served her in the morning.

After a little hesitation, she replied 'Come in'.

The door slowly creaked open and the maid bowed. 'Miss I came to let you know that the Mistress and his son have arrived. Master wanted me to let you know that they would be present during dinner.'

Yuki was shocked at the news as her eyes widened. They were supposed to arrive tomorrow. Noticing that the maid was still there, she gave her a nod and waved her hand, signalling to her that she could be dismissed. 'How could this be? Is the story plot changing?'

She quickly took her pen up again and started noting down all the important events that led up to Liam going on a killing spree. She was so concentrated that she wrote down almost an entire composition about Liam. Soon, the sun started to set and it was going to be time for dinner soon. Her stomach was grumbling at the thought of dinner since she wasn't served lunch.

She hurried to get ready as nightfall was approaching. She changed into a slightly more fitting dress for this occasion and was on her way to the dining hall.

She stood behind the large magestic door with gold patterns and diamond flowers engraved on it, handles made from finely carved gold, even Yuki could not compare to a dining room door. She let out a sigh and took a deep breath as she nodded for the Guards to open the door, stepping in.
