5 Hideout

As she approached her quarters the door opened. Her maids rushed to dress her down and to set up a warm bath for her. She asked for the maids to leave and carefully stepped into her bathtub. Unlike all the nobles who have maids to wash them and apply expensive essential oils and perfume to them, Yuki only had a little bag of dried herbal bath set that she would make with the herbs in her garden.

'Im not Yuki' she mumbled, yes she transmigered into this world after being hit by a truck. She had no time to think of her identity, important events from the stories are comming at her like a bullet train. She wasn't sure what she was suppose to do. Her last life was already miserable as it is and she didn't want it to repeat again in this life. In this life, she was determined to lead a happy and peaceful life.

After she sat in the bath long enough she pulled herself out and wrapped her bathrobe around herself and plopped onto her bed, falling asleep within seconds.

Liam watch Yuki as she walked back, no one ever treated him that well not even in the slumps. Every kid Bullies him because his mother was abandoned by her husband, she was a widow.

She felt like a second mother to him. He held onto the warm shawl that Yuki gifted him and stared at it. He had never seen such a beautiful cloth in his life. He nuzzled his face into the cloth breathing in a hint of lavender. Liam was dumbfounded why  she treated him so well. Everyone at the table was shooting death glares at him except for her, to be honest he actually found her creepy at first. She just kept staring at him with little sparkles in her eyes. He pushed himself of the bench that he was sitting on and took one last glace at the direction where Yuki left and walked back.

It was morning, the birds are chirping and a maid came to wake Yuki up. She dreaded this day as she knew what was going to happen. Thier torment starts from today. If she remembered right, the Duke would be out from today till the next week, giving time for thier evil sibilings to mock and bully them without any punishment.

Yuki made her way into the kitchen and sneeked out some leftover sandwiches and biscuits from this morning breakfast and hid the basket of food in the little secret hideout located in her personal garden. Then she made sure to not leave any tracks behind and went to find Little Liam. She couldn't wait to see her cute little brother and spend more time with him.

As she walked to where Liam's bedroom is, the building was plain and slightly dusty. She didn't see any maids or guards on her way there. She arrived at Liams bedroom with the help of her hand drawn map from her memory witch was slightly off but she still managed to find her way. She knocked the door lightly three times but there was no response, then she knocked louder and she herd 'Come in'. She reached her hand out to the handle but the door swung open before she could even place her hand on it.

It was little Liam opening the door><!  He stood behind and shuffled a little bit and his face was filled with confusion. 'Ah, Good morning Liam! I'm just wondering if you would like to play with me today?'  he pause for a little while and lowered his gaze to the ground finding the right words to reply his sister, he doesn't know anyone well except for his mother. Liam wouldn't know if he would be treated badly by Yuki even though she was really kind to him yesterday. He looked up again to see Yuki's beaming smile. ' If that wouldn't be too much trouble please let me play with you sister!' He replied with all the courage he gathered. His ears turned red as he continued to lower his gaze.

Yuki was about to laugh but she held it back by biting her lips which was smiling uncontrollably at his cuteness.  ' Let's go then! ' she stretched out her hand towards him. He looked at her hands and looked back at her for reasurence before placing his hand on hers.

The both of them walked towards her garden as Yuki tried to engage Liam in conversations.

Soon, the reached the garden maze, its really easy to get out of you know the path but there is a hidden path which leads to the secret hiding spot. They went through several bushes that blocked thier way and finally arrived to the hiding spot.

Liam stood there confused, it was just a huge tree. He walked around to see if there was any hiding spots but he couldn't find any! At this point he thought that Yuki was lying. 'Now, I know u think that I'm lying but I'm really not! Watch closely!' she than proceeded to pluck a leaf from the tree and took a stick on the ground and took some vine. She tied the leaf to the end of the stick and proceed to draw a door on the bark of the tree. She place her hand on the little handle that she drew and said 'Open please!' the door she drew suddenly looked real!

She twisted the handle to open the door and invited Liam in and she shuts the door closed.

Inside looked like a cave made out of wood with storage boxes and a little table and stools. A light bulb that looks like a giant firefly was hanging above the table.

But there was another door as well, Yuki opened it a few times before but it was dark with endless staircases and floating doors. She never took the time to explore it as she was a timid person.

Liam stared at the place in awe processing what just happened. 'Come and sit!' Yuki invited as she pat on a wooden stool right beside her. Liam took a seat and Yuki opened the basket that was left on tha table handing a piece of cookie to Liam.

'Have u had breakfast?' she asked. Yuki and her Sibilings have breakfast differently. Especially if thier father is not around. She is used to eating breakfast alone as her Sibilings ate together in thier Mom's part of the palace building.

Her mom would never invite her to eat meals or drink tea. Her father on the other hand invites her to meals as it is only basic maners to greet the guest with all family members in the dining room to introduce themselves. Whenever those event takes place, Yuki will sit in the corner quietly. Every guest can probably tell that she was the unwanted one. She doesn't look the least bit like her father or mother.

Despite that, she was glad that her father doesn't pay attention to her. Even though he given her less allowence and no education, at least he didn't hit her or hurt her. Yuki was grateful for that. On the other hand, her mother abused her whenever she wants.

'I was thinking of exploring the this place.' Yuki said as she opened the door to show Liam the endless stars and floating doors. 'I think there is some useful items in the storage boxes that we can bring with us.' she walked towards th boxes and opened one of them. It was filled with various items. There was a few matches, coats, towels, knife and several other items some powder looking thing? And alot of other weird items.

She started categorising the items into cloths, weapons, strange powder, matches and wood and precious items. Once she was done, she took a small pocket knife and two hooded capes. She placed one over Liam, it was a bit oversized but still fitted him quite well. Yuki placed kne over herself and took some gold coins she found and a pocket knife with her. She held up the lamp that she lit a few moments ago and held Liam's hands in her's. 'Let's go?' she beemed. Liam blushed and nodded, proceeding to look down again.
