I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK YOU.
HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT DYING?
HAVE YOU REALIZED THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHEN WE WILL DIE?
THEREFORE, WE NEED ASSURANCE.
--ASSURANCE THAT IF WE WILL DIE, WE WILL SURELY GO TO HEAVEN.
If you happen to die, are you 100% sure that you will go to heaven?
According to my survey, 80 out of 100 said that no one can assure it.
But it is not true.
Revelation 20:15,
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
So if you're not 100% sure, maybe your name was not yet written in the book of life.
So you need to be certain of it.
We don't know that we might die later, tomorrow, the other day, next week, next month or even next year.
Do you believe in heaven and hell?
If not, I prepared a verse from the Bible for you:
Matthew 8:11-12
"And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven:
But the children of the outer kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
There are 3 facts for you:
1. ALL OF US ARE SINNERS. I, you, your mom and dad and even your neighbors. We commit sin through thoughts, words and actions.
It is stated in Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
2.WE WILL ALL DIE.
Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
The meaning of DEATH is SEPARATION.
Because a human is composed of three aspects:
1. BODY (The one that can be seen or touched)
2. SOUL (Will be headed to heaven or hell)
3. SPIRIT (Will go back to God when you die)
DEATH is the separation of those 3 aspects.
3. And THE GOOD NEWS is we can be SAVED from HELL.
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we are yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
If you are to be asked, what is your own way to get saved from hell?
Most people say that their ways are to be kind, to always pray, help others and go to church every Sunday.
But in Ephesians 2:8-9,
"For by GRACE are ye saved through FAITH; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of WORKS, lest any man should BOAST."
In order to be saved from hell, we must do 3 things:
1.CONFESSION
Admit that you are a sinner. Confess your sins and ask God for forgiveness.
1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
God is so good. Even though we're sinners, if we ask for forgiveness, God will still forgive us.
2.ACCEPTANCE
Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior from hell.
3. HAVE FAITH
Romans 10:13
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
AND LASTLY,
ARE YOU READY TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST IN YOUR HEART?
He's only waiting for you to do it :)
If yes, follow this prayer:
LORD GOD,
WE THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU DIED ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY JUST TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS.
AT THIS MOMENT, I ACCEPT YOU TO MY HEART, AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR.
FORGIVE US FOR ALL OUR SINS.
I'LL START TO HAVE FAITH ON YOU, LORD.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, LORD.
WE ARE PRAYING THIS IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.
Now that you accepted Him as your Savior, I have a verse for you.
John 1: 12
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."
So now, you are now a SON OF GOD.
A son lives in his father's house, right?
So if you'll die, you'll be home with God as your heavenly Father in heaven.
If you are confused, I'll explain it to you. All who HAVEN'T accepted Jesus Christ YET is NOT YET His SON.
John 8:44
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do: he was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
And because you ACCEPTED HIM, YOU ARE NOW HIS SON (:
Some say that if you commit sin when you're saved, you're not saved anymore. But NO. It's not true.
Because your sins are forgiven—those sins that you've done and the sins that you might still do. So thank God because He is merciful and full of grace to us. But if a son commits a sin, what will his father do?
--DISCIPLINE OR CHASTEN HIM.
So if we commit sin, there is ALWAYS a consequence and a discipline from God. God has a lots of ways to discipline us. It may be sickness, an unbearable problem, losing someone and the worst of all, is your death.
So be careful. Always pray to take you away from temptations to sin. :)
