Chapter 37: Playboy

The entire timeframe before the club, I tried to brace myself for Kade to be swarmed by drunken girls who were ready to hook up. I put on my best clubbing outfit: a small and tight black dress that showed off my body in all of the right places. I put a little extra effort and time into my hair and makeup.

After giving myself a final look over in the mirror, I was hopeful my appearance would be enough to keep Kade’s attention on me, even if he did have girls throwing themselves at him.

“Where the h*ll do you think you’re going dressed like that?” Kade questioned in a half-joking manner.

It was clear he liked the outfit but didn’t like the fact I was about to wear it out in public.

Taking in his appearance, I let out a huff of mixed emotions. He looked hot and flawless as always, his hair perfectly placed, and he was in a nice black jeans and shirt combo. While it was nice for me to look at, I knew it would also be nice for other girls to look at.
