Chapter Four: Attempt

Miko's PoV

Ughh. I hate this life. I don't want to accept what mom says. After all these years, I want to be angry with mom but I can't. Thinking of everything, I just found myself in front of a cliff. Are you really sure Miko? Is this what you want? Is this what I want? Maybe this will be the solution. I'm tired of a lot of things. But what about mom? She is the only one I have and I am the only one she has. Ughhh. It's up to her, maybe my father won't make her suffer. I have already decided. This time, I should do what I want and I think this is the right thing to do.

I already decided to jump this cliff when someone pull my shirt and said.

"Hey! If there is a problem, suicide is not the solution! " That annoying voice came from the most annoying girl named Angel.

"Will you shut up! I'm alive! so you don't care! I'm not even your friend. You are just a mere annoying classmate! ". I saw that her forehead was wrinkled which means he was angry with what I said. The hell I care.

"Hey, you know who you are. For your information Mr. arrogant, I'm not worried about you. I'm worried about your mommy! She is worried sick about you for Pete's sake she almost faint just to find you! You're just here! "

"How did you meet my mommy?" I asked. "Okay, I saw this woman who is worriedly sick finding her son which turns out to be you. I saw her on the way home. She approached me and showed me your picture. she asked me if I saw you. Of course I said I didn't see you. And because I'm also curious why you're missing I was also looking for you and only to find out, you're just here planning to commit suicide. When I saw your mommy I felt sorry for her. Her eyes are already swollen and it looks like she will faint. You know dude, You should appreciate life because not everyone wakes up.be thankful you that you are alive. be thankful that you have a parent who worries about you."

The last words she said makes me feel like I am a really terrible son. She's right even if I can only live for my mommy because She is the most important right now.

"Though you're really annoying. You have a point. Anyways I hate to say this but I am thankful for your uncontrollable mouth. I have to go bye! Before I forgot I owe you one. See you tomorrow! ". I said.

She's the first one who makes me realized many things. I immediately went home. I saw mom crying and crying while holding my picture. I saw grief in her eyes. I was especially guilty. Though many revelations have happened, I still haven't been able to get angry with mom. She is the best mom. I know she only did that because she had a reason and she was protecting me.

I saw mom coming to my place. Suddenly I feel relief. Mom was happy to see me. With that, I hugged her and kissed her temples. I'm so sorry mom. I will never do that again.

"Son! You are well and safe! I'm so sorry. Forgive me son. I am really really sorry".

"It's not your fault mom I know you didn't want all that. I'm sorry mom I won't do that again. "

"I'm sorry son. But I have something to ask you. Since you know the truth, can you love your daddy and not hate him anymore. He promised me that he will not hurt us again after knowing the truth.

" Mom. I don't know if I can handle it". I loathe my dad for hurting us. But mom is right.

"I'll try Mom. I'll try ".
