8 hectic schedule

Anne is a part of the magazine committee in college. Originally she was selected to be the chief-editor of the magazine, but because of some reasons unknown to her, Dr. Scarlett made her quit the position of the chief-editor and become the leader of the drama club. Anne has been performing different things on stage for the past 2 years. Anne performed Indian Classical dance in the first year, directed a play on racism for a competition (which got the first prize), was in the chorus for another greek drama performance in college, she then performed in a group dance a western contemporary style, in the second year she took part in a drama that conveyed importance of mental health, she enacted various emotions of happiness, sadness, nervousness, confusion, and also danced as the central dancer in another event. She is very good at academics, she lost her rank from the top three because she had high fever during the last two exams and so she couldn't focus on studying. Anne also did an internship as a content writer and also took part in an educational exchange programme where she got a certificate from the university of New York for her educational contribution.

Dr. Scarlett was observing Anne for the past two years, Anne is very shy in person but on stage she was a different person, someone you couldn't recognise. Anne made very few friends. Spoke to 4 or 5 girls voluntarily  who seemed to be her close friends but only Anne knew that in college Kathy was her best friend and Milia was someone trustworthy. These two were the ones she could confide and talk about her fears too. Anne is very understanding, she listens patiently and fights fiercely for things she firmly believes in. She isn't scared about others' opinions of her, she lives her life by her own rules and values. She seems pretty carefree on the surface but she is very strict with many things in her life. She often gets into troubles because she doesn't talk things out with people to clear her name. Some people deliberately frame her, some hate her for being such. The people who know the truth if they ask her on why she was mum she replies very nonchalantly saying "I was not in a mood to talk." Her nonchalant attitude attracts lots of jealousy and hatred. Dr. Scarlett has witnessed all of this and she seems pretty interested in this girl 'who isn't interested to talk' even when the entire group got against her. After talking to her, Dr. Scarlett realised that Anne is very humble and polite. It is just that she really doesn't care about what other people think or gossip about. Such a girl is hard to come around, isn't it?

When Anne scored maximum in the editing test and got selected as the chief-editor for the college magazine, Dr. Scarlett, who knew her abilities asked her to lead the drama group with Thalia (one of her classmates with whom she had worked with in the drama that conveyed the importance of mental health.) Dr. Scarlett wanted Anne to do something more challenging than just doing editing. Dr. Scarlett wanted Anne to not underestimate herself and her abilities but for that Anne had to be given a huge responsibility. And leading the official drama club of college, that will stage a drama of which tickets will be sold in thousands of bucks and college's reputation will be at stake.

Thankfully, I have a Dr. Scarlett in my life. I am a blessed student as the professors in my college have been very supportive and understanding. They are the ones I owe the most after my parents.)

Anne was numb when Dr. Scarlett told her to take up the responsibility along with Thalia. She said, " Ma'am I am not sure about it. Can I please think over it and get back to you?" She couldn't process it for another two days. She spoke to her Mom about this and her mother was very happy about it knowing that someone finally understood the capability of her daughter, she also spoke to Kathy who also encouraged her saying that "if Ma'am has chosen you, why are you thinking over it.. Ma'am must have done it before?". This wasn't enough she texted Milia and asked for her advice. Milia was elated to know and encouraged Anne to give her best. She also gave some tips to Anne on how to handle a big group of girls and calmed her heart. Milia made her feel confident of herself and Anne after 2 days texted Dr. Scarlett "Thank you for the opportunity Ma'am. I won't let you and the college down. Bless me with your blessings." A short message, straight to the point this is how Anne is with everyone. But the last line reflected the respect Anne has for Dr. Scarlett. Anne doesn't bother herself with texting people she is 'just familiar' with, she prefers meeting in person than texting. Because texting causes a lot of misunderstanding. Anne speaks less, her actions prove more. Anne is a completely different person with her parents and her sister. Her cheerful, fun-loving, chit-chat personality is only reserved for those three people (and her ex-boyfriend as well when they were dating and were on good terms- before Stephen started to take Anne for granted). Dr. Scarlett was elated to know that Anne agreed. Truth to be told, she was nervous if Anne would leave the editing committee and the drama club after putting her in such a position. Seeing Anne's message Dr. Scarlett was on cloud nine. She instantly replied to Anne saying, "I believe in your abilities. God bless you my child. Always remember I am here for you if you feel something you want to talk about." Dr. Scarlett has seen Anne keeping her emotions to herself. Often in the poetry class in the middle of the explanation of some heartbroken poems, Anne's eyes would turn watery and she'd have a smile that was more of self-pity. Not once but many times Dr. Scarlett asked Anne after the class about what is bothering her. Anne would smile away instantly and say, "sorry Ma'am but I am completely fine. I guess you mistook me for someone else. If I have your permission can I go for my class?".
