Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

"Yawn!" I woke up and let out a long yawn as I stretched.

"Meow" Nyx meowed into my lap lazily and with a bit of annoyance, upset that I woke her up. And as an apology, I started stroking her, and she soon purred contentedly.

After spending time with Nyx, I started to get dressed and went to my daily workout.

After I got back from my practice, showered, and dressed, I went down to the common room, only to see some students around the bulletin board, and curious to know what it was, I started to approach.

As I approached, Anthony, who was with the other students reading the bulletin board spotted me, and started walking towards me excitedly, pulling an equally excited Terry and somewhat irritated by the collar of his shirt.

"Ethan, did you hear? Flying lessons are starting this week!" Anthony told me ecstatically, obviously excited for flying lessons, something he made very clear last week when he kept talking about how sad he was about not having flying lessons the first week.

'Ah, so that was it... I had forgotten that they didn't know when Flight lessons would start' I thought, mentally slapping myself on the forehead.

"I always flew at my house. There's an open field for me to fly there, and I always competed with my brother for who could score the most points and..." Anthony started babbling about his broom adventures, and I just roll my eyes at him.

"And so will auditions for the Quidditch team," Terry said, interrupting Anthony's chatter, "I wanted to get on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team, but the first few years can't audition," he said disappointed.

"I know! This is so unfair!" Anthony then responded indignantly.

'Unfair to you who don't have the Potter pass. Being an orphan, 'defeating' a dark lord as a baby, and being a Gryffindor is a great way to gain privileges at Hogwarts,' I thought, a little annoyed that Potter will be able to join the team even when it break the rules for it, 'Sigh. And that will be the norm for the rest of the years, as the Headmaster and some Professors have a soft spot for Potter.'

I have nothing against him, but even in my other life, when everything here was just a book in a fictional story, I thought it was wrong for Potter, and the golden trio, to have gotten rid of so much trouble that should have resulted in an expulsion from school, at least.

'What will their reaction be when Potter becomes the Gryffindor Seeker?'

"What about you Ethan? Aren't you glad we're having flying lessons on Wednesday?" Anthony asked me as soon as he saw that I wasn't excited like everyone else.

"Oh that? It's because I knew classes were starting this week" I answered them honestly.

"How did you know that?" Terry asked me, "They just put this on the bulletin board today"

"I asked the older students and they said that Flying lessons always start in the second week of school," I replied as I walked over to the bulletin board after it had emptied a few people, and the boys followed me.

"Oh" Terry nodded, but then he stopped and started musing, "Because I always forget to ask older students about something? it would be so much easier" and I could only look at him with a blank face. .

'House of the smart... My ass'

"Now that I've stopped to think, I think my brother has already told me something like this…" Anthony commented with a hand on his chin. He then shook his head and turned back to look at me, "But back to the subject, Aren't you excited Ethan?" he asked me, cocking his head to the side curiously.

"Of course I'm excited! Because unlike you guys who flew broomsticks in your WIZARD houses, I've never flown on a broomstick in my life, and Wednesday will be my first time," I replied, reminding them that I was muggleborn and didn't know about the wizarding world until recently.

And as I've said before, I'm obviously excited to be flying. Feeling the wind in my face, the thrill of being in the sky at mighty heights, being able to have a view from above Hogwarts, being able to maneuver on a broom... How could I not be excited?

"Oh I forgot" Anthony apologized, smiling as he scratched the back of his neck shyly.

"Oh yeah, you've never flown before" Terry said as the realization hit him, "But don't worry, you'll like it. And if you fall off the broom, I'll catch you" he finished, looking at me with his chest puffed out proudly . But your sentence didn't give me much confidence.

Not that I needed someone to help me with the flight, but if at any point someone was going to help me or save me if I fell, that person would definitely not be Terry, so I just looked at him blankly and ignored him, turning to the bulletin board.

Looking at the bulletin board for the first time since I'd been in the common room, I saw the flight lessons announcement, some of Ravenclaw's rules written down, and other less-than-useful information. But I also had some information that caught my attention.

Extracurriculars: Art and Theory of Magic began their classes in the third week for the 5th and 6th year students, and in the fourth week for the 7th year students.

Clubs: Some clubs will start their activities in the third week of their term. The remaining clubs will only be allowed to start their activities in the fifth week for reasons of rescheduling and reorganization.

The clubs that will start their activities in the fifth week are: Astronomy Club; Potions Club; Hogwarts Orchestra; and Frog Choir, conducted by Filius Flitwick

'Looks like Hogwarts has more classes than what's shown in the books. And I forgot that the school also has extracurricular activities' I thought, looking at the clubs noted on the bulletin board, 'Maybe I should stop by these clubs to see what they look like, and if they interest me I might even try joining one in the future...'

"Hmm, does Hogwarts have a Potions club?" Terry asked interestedly, looking over my shoulder at the bulletin board, and because I was taller than him (and even taller than a few third years) he had to stand on tiptoe.

"Are you interested?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow, to which he nodded, "But I thought you didn't like Potions" I questioned confused.

"I didn't like the class because of the professor, and not because of the subject itself. And before I came to Hogwarts I was excited to have Potions class, but the professor ruined it" Terry said with a frown, a little annoyed by the fact that Snape had done away with all his excitement to study Potions.

Terry then looked back at the bulletin board and smiled, "But now that I know there's a Potions club at Hogwarts, maybe I can join as normal Potions classes didn't please me," he said, and I nodded my head to your idea. Since your teacher is an idiot and your class sucks, the club can't be worse.

As I reflected on what Terry had said, we heard a stomach growl.

"Hehe, I think it would be good for us to go get our breakfast, I'm starving" Anthony said, running a hand over his stomach.

And I noticed that we were a little late and that I was also hungry, so the boys and I started to go to the Great Hall.

After eating my breakfast and chatting with my colleagues for a while, I got up from the table, warned Terry and Anthony that I would continue exploring the castle, and left the Great Hall.

As soon as I left the Great Hall, I started heading straight for the site of my final phase of Hogwarts' inner exploration.

And now here I am. On the seventh floor, facing the passageway to the best place in Hogwarts... the Room of Requirement.

End.

(End AN: I hate to get sick!

Did you know that there really are clubs at Hogwarts? Of course, not counting the Slug Club?

I am amazed at how little the castle, its classes, the wizarding community, the government, has been so poorly explored in books and movies.

And that's why I'm going to try to expand the wizarding world in my fic.

I hope you like the chapter!)
