Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Hermione discovered that the clue in the golden egg was actually a song in Mermish, it didn't take long for her to realize that the necessary condition for hearing the clue in an understandable way was to hear it underwater.

And with this new information the three troublesome Gryffindors quickly set off to try and solve the clue, saying goodbye to me while thanking me.

And seeing the three of them leaving excitedly, I could only smile in amusement, understanding their feelings, as I would have been excited too if I had known that I would no longer have to listen to the shrill screams of the golden egg.

But now the golden trio will just need to solve the enigma in the form of a song to try to find out what the second task will be, which probably won't be very difficult, since I already told them that the black lake had a connection with the task.

But now that they would have more time to prepare I was wondering if Harry would still use Gillyweed to complete the task just like in canon.

'Well, that would be the safest and easiest option for him' I thought, 'And besides, I'm sure Barty Junior is already planning how to make Harry use this magical plant to survive the task'

'But well, I won't worry too much about it' I shrugged, 'I know Harry will do well in the task no matter what method he uses'

And so putting the second task and all the conspiracies behind it to the back of my mind I continued walking, heading in the direction I was feeling my friends.

-A Few Days Later - Library-

Four days had already passed since the day I helped the golden trio solve the clue that was in the golden egg, and in that time nothing very interesting had happened.

My days at school continued as usual, and I continued alternating my time between classes, my training and research, and my time with my friends.

And currently I was with my friends and other colleagues in the library for another session of our study group, which now took place three times a week every afternoon.

And as I looked at my parchment with my Ancient Runes essay I heard the study group members talking.

"You know, we should have a study group session just to practice our spells, potions and stuff" Susan said with a finger on her chin, making everyone stop what they were doing and look at her.

"Yes, I don't think I'll learn much just by reading and studying" Megan said, and Hermione who was next to her looked at her indignantly.

"I agree" Stephen nodded, "And my wand needs some action"

And listening to him, Terry looked at him with a despicable smile, "Oh, you can solve that by getting a girlfriend" he said, before thinking a little "Nah, that's not going to happen. I guess you'll have to settle for your hand."

And that comment made Stephen look at him dryly, while most of the girls in the group looked at Terry with disgust.

"You're a pervert" Sue said to Terry, who just shrugged.

"Huh? Why he's a pervert?" Lily, who didn't understand the innuendo in Terry's sentence, asked in confusion.

"Oh, the wand he was talking about wasn't a normal wand, but Stephen's d..." and before Anthony could continue the explanation I looked at him with a deadly look, silencing him.

And turning to Lily with a smile I placed my hand on her shoulder, "You don't need to worry about that, they're just being idiots."

And Lily looked at me for a few seconds, and I felt a bead of sweat form on my forehead in nervousness.

But then the little girl just nodded with a small smile, deciding to trust me.

And seeing this I sighed with relief, before looking at Terry and Anthony with a look that promised pain for both of them.

"Ahem" Susan cleared her throat to get our attention, "Back to the topic... I think the next study group session should be a practical session"

"Yes, there's just one problem, we can't do that in the library" Lisa said, "If we try to cast any spell in here, Madame Pince will kill us"

"Then we just use one of the dozens of abandoned rooms in the castle" I suggested with a shrug, "And besides that, there are also the courtyards, the black lake, and as a last option, the Forbidden Forest"

"Oh, I'll definitely enjoy attending a study group session in the Forbidden Forest," Michael said sarcastically.

"You don't need to be afraid of the Forbidden Forest, it's not that dangerous there" I rolled my eyes, "And besides, I only mentioned the forest as a last option."

"I'm not afraid, I just have common sense." he said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," I waved my hand dismissively, trying not to look pleased when I saw him look at me with a frown.

And ignoring our exchange, my colleagues began to reflect on the suggestions for places I mentioned for our next session.

"Well, I think using an abandoned classroom is a good option" Fay said, and the others agreed.

And seeing no one disagree Susan nodded, "Okay, then it's decided" she said, "Our next session will be a practical session in an abandoned classroom"

And as soon as she said that, everyone nodded, but after a few seconds someone raised their hand.

"Hmm, but which abandoned classroom are we going to use?" Davis asked.

"We can decide that on the day of the session" Zabini replied to his housemate, "As Night said, there are dozens or even hundreds of abandoned rooms in the castle, so it won't be difficult to find one for us to use"

"True," Lily said, "There are at least three abandoned classrooms near the Slytherin Common Room."

"There are also some near Gryffindor Tower" Hermione joined the conversation.

And listening to the two Susan nodded, "Well, then it looks like we won't have to worry about looking for a room" she said.

'Yes, we'll just have to worry about the mess the room will be after the session is over' I snorted.

'All these teenagers together casting spells all over the place... Without a doubt the room will be a disaster'

And just thinking about it made me feel sorry for the house elves, even though I knew they loved it when they had more work to do.

After everything was decided we went back to what we were doing before, with me finishing my runes essay while the others also finished their homework or continued with their studies.

And after a few minutes we saw that it was getting late, and so we decided to end today's study group session.

The session had come to an end and everyone began to get up from their seats, with my colleagues packing their materials.

And I, who had already packed my materials in my bag, took the books I had used and went to return them to their shelves.

And as I returned the last book to its shelf I felt Greengrass approach me, but as I usually did I simply ignored her, hoping she would do the same.

"Night" I heard Greengrass' voice.

And hearing the cold, emotionless voice of the Slytherin ice queen I stopped, wondering if I had heard wrong.

However, that didn't seem to be the case, as Greengrass was still standing next to me, and I could feel that she was looking directly at me.

"Are you talking to me?" I turned to her, somewhat confused and wary.

"Are there any other Night here?" she asked, and her expression may not have changed, but I could hear the irritation in her voice.

"Oh, sorry, I just wasn't expecting the cold and famous ice queen to talk to me, a mere muggleborn" I said in a mocking tone.

And that seemed to irritate her, because I could see her clenching her hands.

But then Greengrass took a deep breath and I could see her hands relax, with her using her occlumency to keep calm.

"Look, I just want to talk to you," she said, and I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you want to talk to me?" I asked slowly.

"Yes" she replied.

"Like, a normal talk?"

"Yes" and I could feel her irritation returning.

"Are you by any chance sick? Maybe you should pay Madam Pomfrey a visit" I said, looking her up and down, and if looks could kill I was sure that right now I would be in line for my third reincarnation.

"I'm not sick" she said through clenched teeth.

"Are you sure? An examination in the Hospital Wing is quick"

Okay, I confess that now I was just doing this to make her angry.

"Yes, I'm sure Night. Now, are you going to talk to me or not?"

And hearing her question I looked at her a little more before placing a finger on my chin, pretending to be thinking.

And when Greengrass saw this, she felt her right eye twitch.

'Ugh, this stupid boy has a gift for making me angry' she looked at me irritated, realizing that talking to me would be more stressful than she thought.

End.
