That way, we shared every joy and sorrow. He gave me the will to live on because life is full of unexpected turns. It's just a journey of surprises.

At least, there's someone I can trust and depend upon. I could say that he knows my life but has never abandoned me. He helped my brother get admitted in a residential school saying that I can clear my debt to him by paying my brother's school fees. I can't really stop wondering at that. He's just too unreal.

Since I skipped high school, he's helping me in my studies and luckily, or I should say by hard work, I got selected in the best university with good scholarships. He's older than me and also good in academic activities so I've no other choice but to depend on him. Come to think of it, my life totally depends on him. He's my life creditor.

"Oii! Do you hear me? Where did your mind space out? " He snapped me back into reality.

"Ah... Past, I guess. " I giggled.

"What are you ordering? "

I handed him the menu book to him.

"Hey! Why are there only the cheap ones? "

"Because I want them. "

"No! You have to choose the nutritious ones. "

"But they're beyond expensive. "

"That's what I was asking. You wanna work hard, right? " I nodded.

"Then, you need to stay healthy for that. " He ordered the meals and there are none that I selected.

"Don't be a picky eater. Let's dig in. "

After dinner, he dropped me at my apartment.

"So, since you're going to university from tomorrow, you'll have to take the night shift, right? "

I nodded.

"It's a bit dangerous so be careful. "

"Okay. "

"Have you informed your manager? "

"Not yet. I'll do it tonight. "

"Text me if you need something. "

"Thanks."

"Okay. Don't stay up late. "

"Uhm... Thanks for today. "

"You're most welcome and I don't need your gratitude. Good night! "

"Good night! " I waved as he drove away.

"Hah ~ It's going to get tough. I'm going to be more busy than ever. But I don't need to worry much since I've got a stable job now. "

I laid down on my bed and texted the hotel manager. He accepted my request. I kept my phone on the side table and hugged the plushie bear.

"I wish my brother was with me. I feel lonely. "

Thanks to the rude family. Now, I'm staying in a rented apartment. They sold out our everything and settled abroad. They're really inhumane. I don't know how but they suddenly got rich. Well, who cares as long as me and my brother are happy. It was a great day today. I hope my coming life will be smooth as today. I dozed off.

I went straight to the university after breakfast (🍳☕🍞)

In order to avoid being looked down, we need to dress differently. That's what Hoseok taught me.

One thing good about this university is that there's no differentiation between rich and poor. They select students in terms of merit.

My first class was Sociology so I went to the classroom after my form submission in the office. I walked straight to the middle seat.

"You know what. I heard that we'll have a very handsome student in our class."

"Do you know his name? "

"I'm not sure. But it was something like Taehyung."

"Aww ~ I can't wait anymore... "

Some girls were squealing behind me. I don't get why some girls are crazy over handsome men only. They should go for their character rather than appearance.

"Aww ~ That's him. That's him. " They squealed.

I glanced at the doorway and saw him. Yes! I admit that he's awfully handsome but it's hopeless if he's a characterless one.

"Wait! I think I've seen him somewhere. It's him. He's the one. " I was confused with the thought. It was 2 years ago. In December. We've met before. I owe him.

He walked towards me.

"Hey! Would you mind to sit somewhere else? "

Huh? What's with that attitude? I was first, you know.

I just ignored him. I should not waste my time arguing with him.

"Hey! Don't you hear me? "

I didn't move an inch.

"Alright, students! Take your seats. " The teacher came in.

Thank god. I'm safe.

He sat down besides me and I can feel his hatred. I'm somehow trembling.

Woah ~ I challenged someone on my first day 😩😭 I hope nothing happens.

I can hear the girls cursing me under their breath and I'm sure he can hear it too.

"How dare this girl ignore me? "

The class was over after an hour.

"Don't you dare think your university life will be peaceful? " He threatened.

As expected.

I just walked out the classroom.

"So, you're playing hard to get, huh?" He smirked.

I headed back home and then to the hotel changing into my uniform.

"Seomi! I heard you're now studying in university. " One of the lady said.

"Uhm... " I nodded.

"That's good for you. Education is important nowadays. But I feel bad that you're taking the night shift. You know it's risky. "

"I know but I need the money for living. "

"I know money is important but be careful. " I nodded as she advised.

"Okay. I need to get going for the room service. " She left.

I finished cooking the order.

I'm working here as a chef cum room servicer.

"Are you already working? "

Hoseok texted.

"Yes! "

"Okay! Let's chat after that. Keep up the good work. "

He never forgets to encourage me. I smiled as I slid the phone in my pocket.

For today, there was less duty for me so I get to return early.

I took bath and rested myself on the bed texting Hoseok talking about all sorts of things that happened today except about that jerk. I don't want to trouble him about my problems.
