Just like Fate

When I won the song writing contest in High School, I knew right then that I wanted to make music for the rest of my life.

Jason encouraged me to join that contest since he hears that I play random notes in Piano and he thinks that it sounds good.

It was the first time I wrote a song and it won a prize.

It was also the first song I wrote for him.

At first, I thought that I just appreciate everything that he does for me. But as we grow older, my feelings got stronger.

When we watched the sun rise on the rooftop of their building 10 years ago, that's when I knew this isn't just friendship.

When he looked at the sun and stared at me after while his eyes are smiling, I knew right then it was Love.

It was a crazy 10 year stretch of unrequited love, all documented through the song I wrote all those years.

From hating to see his heart break to loving all those little things about him, it was all expressed through the songs I've written.

....

'Please, whatever happens. Promise me you won't fall inlove with me'

(Promise me you won't fall inlove with me.....)

How can someone do something for a long time and suddenly just stop.

I really don't know what to say.

I don't even want to respond.

'Jayjay. I-'

'Boss, you have a call from your Father.' Mr. Jin interrupted.

[Whew. That was close. I was about to confess]

People might think it's stupid to confess your feelings when the person pleaded you to not fall inlove with them, but I have no desire in keeping this to myself any longer.

So I've decided to take the fall.

[I'll take this fake marriage as a chance to show him how I feel, I'll do everything without holding back.

So just in case I'll end up being dumped, atleast i don't have any regrets]

I smiled as I take a sip of my coffee and look at the city from his office's window.

---

Today is a good day.

Everyone we love is gathered in this church, celebrating this wonderful day with us.

Usually, people rent wedding halls. However our parents insisted to have the ceremony done in an actual church.

The church is very secured. Using the bodyguards from both our families, we managed to make sure that everyone who are uninvited cannot come it.

The whole church is covered by flowers.

Green and white roses are everywhere and the guests adhered to the mint green and white themed wedding.

Inside the bridal car, I was nervous. My dad is holding my hand, while comforting me.

'I can't believe that my youngest kid is getting married today.' Dad said, he's about to cry any minute from now.

'I felt apologetic before that I have forced you into doing this but I know that what you feel for him isn't just a simple Platonic Love .I know how much you loved Jason for all these years and all I want to do is help you get together with him.'

I am shocked.

'Dad, How did you-'

'Everything's ready, Miss. Let's get you inside and start walking the aisle' Jeremy, our wedding planner, said.

Well, here goes nothing!
