[2 Days Time Skip]

I was currently walking towards the Hokage's Office as i had one of kakashi's dog summons come and infromed me that Team 7 had been summoned by the hokage.

Over the past two days i had not done any training because i was recovering from the injuries i had taken from my fight with the sound four, it was nothing too severe but i didn't want to go get treated in the hospital as too many questions would be raised on how i acquired these injuries and i had no interest in answering those questions.

As i arrived near the Hokage's tower i saw that the rest of the team were already there waiting for me.

"Alright now that we are all here let's go" Kakashi said

"Kakashi Sensei why do you think Granny Tsunade has summoned us?" Naruto asked

"Well to be honest even i do not really have a clue as to why we have been summoned" Kakashi said with a frown.

As we entered the Hokage's Office i saw that the Jonin Commander Shikaku and the Toad Sanin Jiraya and an Anbu were also in the room.

"Good all of you are here" the Hokage said.

"Pervy Sage, your here too" Naruto said with excitement.

"Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, during the Invasion of Orochimaru and the Sand Village, the two of you held off the One Tails Jinchuriki and prevented a large amount of causalities in the village, and both of you have displayed a good amount of skill and hence both of you have now been promoted to the Rank of Chunin."

As soon as Tsunade said this Naruto's face was filled with excitement and he started cheering.

Tsunade then continued "However, Team 7 will be temporarily disbanded for now."

Everyone of us were shocked at this statement since none of us were really expecting it.

But before anyone could respond jiraya said "Naruto, i have some work because of which i will not be in the village for the next 2-3 years, and as you are my student you will be accompanying me on this journey for the next 2-3 years so that you can get stronger, and i have recieved intel that the Akatsuki will also be going underground for a few years so this should give us some time to prepare when they come back to get you again, and in the next 2-3 years i will train you to the best of my abilities so that you can defend yourself and the village when the time comes."

Tsunade then said "Uchiha Sasuke, even though you have been promoted to Chunin we have an offer for you, the Jonin Commander and the Anbu Chief believe your skills to be suited elsewhere and i agree with them, you have a choice of joining the Anbu or you could stay a chunin and complete missions and later become a jonin or if you choose to be an Anbu you will be given special training for the next few months to make sure you are on the right level to be an anbu after which you will officially be given the rank of anbu, you do not have to make a descision right now you have 3 days to decide."

Tsunade then looked towards Sakura and said "As for you Sakura, i will be giving you a choice as well, you could either join Asuma Sarutobi's team until you get promoted to chunin or you could choose to be trained by Anko Mitarashi it's your choice, like Sasuke you also have 3 days to decide so think about it and don't make any rash decisions."

[3 Day Time Skip]

I didn't really need 3 days to make a decision, i could have made it instantly, the answer to me was clear, being an Anbu helped my case in a lot of ways, it would help mask my sudden growth in strength and this would also allow me to constantly get out of the village for mission's.

Naruto had left the village to go on his training trip earlier today and sakura had also accepted to train under Anko.

'Things have finally started to change and i don't know if it's for the better or the worse, since i am still in the Village naruto doesn't have that drive to bring me back, so his sole aim at the moment is to get stronger to become Hokage but this also means that his progress might not be the same as it was in the anime, this might motivate him even more and make him much stronger or he might be even weaker than he was in the anime when he come's back. And as for Sakura things are changing there too, she isn't Tsunade's student at the moment and this is solely because she doesn't really have a goal to mainly work towards as im still in the village, but training with anko will be helpful for her as she will mostly turn her into an actual shinobi and beat the fan girl attitude out of her, but she currently isn't being trained by tsunade so there is no saying how strong she will be by the end of 3 years, and im now an Anbu and im still in the leaf, so this will definitely change a lot of things and things might not happen the same way as they did in the Anime.'

The Timeskip will start from next chapter, but i will be writing a few flashbacks of Sasuke's time in the Anbu later on.

What Summons should Sasuke have? Snakes or something else, if you want him to have some other summons let me know what it should be. (NO CROWS, TOADS, DOGS or SLUGS)
