10 Troublesome Days

The show ended as Guy wiped his tears, he then shifted his head towards Sasuke with his iconic smile.

"What is your name, young boy? I can see the youth burning within you!"

"Sasuke Uchiha"

The boy said as in a matter-of-factly tone. Sasuke had a positive view of the man in front of him.

"Sasuke Uchiha! What a nic-...Wait, Did you just say Uchiha?"

Sasuke nodded. Gai stared at the boy, not sure how to respond. Afterall, he had heard the news about the Uchiha massacre... and one of the two survivors.

And in front of him stood the kid, who lost everyone close to him... But that was only temporary. Gai then smirked, looking at the boy.

"Let us brighten up your mood, Sasuke-boy! Come on, 1000 push-ups, Now!!"

"As you say, Gai Sensei!"

Lee quickly followed through, Sasuke also got in position. He wanted to train, so having a partner was a bonus from his viewpoint.

"After the 1000 push-ups, do 500 more!"

Gai added as he also started to perform his own set of push-ups, tho, his pace was much faster than theirs.

'The green beast of Konoha, huh?'

Sasuke thought to himself, glancing at Gai whilst continuing to train. Gai's easy-going smirk was still plastered on his face.

"Faster! Let the youth inside the both of you erupt like an active volcano!!"

Sasuke felt a bit more hyped hearing the cheer. His pace grew much faster and his posture became more firm.

'The kid's getting better!"

After observing the kid for more than 4 hours, Gai was impressed by the speed the kid grew. Tho Sasuke wouldn't just become strong overnight, if he kept this pace, he would surpass the majority of his peers!

"I have a gift for you, Sasuke"

Gai said, making Lee's eyes twinkle.

"Is it 'that', Gai Sensei!!"

"Yes Lee, it is 'that'"

Sasuke was going to continue his training as he just finished up the 1000 push-up mark, he stopped by Gai.

'What're they talking about?'

Sasuke pondered, the bushy-brow duo ran into the forest before coming back as quick as they went.

"This is our gift for you!"

Gai held out a green spandex in front of him, making Sasuke frown.

"I'm not wearing that"

He mumbled, Gai suddenly rose his brow hearing it.

"Why not?! It is super stretchable and REALLY REALLY durable!! It is also green in color, what could you possibly ask for more!?"

Sasuke watched as Gai provided practical examples. He deadpanned looking at him.

"I'm... allergic to green"

Sasuke said, making Gai lose all his energy.

"Sigh... What a disappointment. But, worry not! you can still train with Lee and me without even having the 'green pass'!"

Sasuke was glad he didn't need to wear the 'green pass'. He nodded at them with a small smile as he went to do pull-ups on a tree branch.

Seeing Sasuke, Gai again sighed. The kid was doing it wrong like any newbie would.

'Has nobody bothered to correct his methods?... I thought Itachi had trained him personally. But that is unlikely, isn't it? The guy was already occupied with his Anbu duties'

Gai concluded, he went toward Sasuke to give out pointers and along with it, point out the flaws in his posture and strength applied.

***

Sasuke had gotten home late... nobody to scold him or get worried. He freshened up before meditating. Training the mind was as important as the body... at least in Sasuke's opinion.

And as bonus, his Chakra reserves also improves a bit from this as well. Not anything like Chunin to Jonin.. But more like, 0.2 - 0.7 every day.

As Chakra reserves had no limit, according to the previous researches, 0.7 and lower were pretty good if it was everyday.

It's not like it costs him anything more than a bit of time.

Like that, Sasuke's time was occupied. No real break for him. On holidays, he would just train with either Lee, if he was available, or just train alone focusing on either his Caligraphy, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Fuinjutsu as well.

Sasuke had visited the Uchiha Library several times in these past weeks, he also kept his Sharingan active as much as he could, trying to get accustomed to it.

'At least it's not dog shit... My calligraphy is much better compared to my past attempts'

Sasuke thought with delight, he was quite happy with his progress. Even though he had to avenge Mikoto... It doesn't have to be tomorrow itself. Sasuke knew that for his own good.

'Man, I wish there was some demon inside me that could just...like, make me overpowered off the bat?'

Those kinds of thoughts invaded Sasuke's mind, he knew it was useless thought and closed off them. Why waste your mental energy on something stupid?

'I want to make some seals... but it would only backfire If I tried it right now'

The best he could do right now was make an explosive tag... Fuinjutsu was hard, very hard.

'I wish I could at least copy someone's, but that would only limit my capabilities as it's not my own method'

His days were... troublesome

A/N: Long story short. I was just looking at the power stone count on my novel and noticed it has been 2 days since an upload!

I was like: Wtf!? I uploaded a chap yesterday!

And when I checked... the chap was still in my draft.

The level of dumbness I reach sometimes... It's frightening.
