The Class Clown's Shattering Heart

'Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu'

Molding Chakra with his hands. Sasuke performed a set of hand signs and then took in oxygen until his chest rose.

He released the compressed pressure, which came out in the form of a 8-meter-width fireball that caused the pond to form vapors in the air.

His fire grew more hotter as he fueled more Chakra. The more he added the wider it became.

'Fire Style: Great fireball Jutsu'

The fire was hotter than anytime he performed it. The water in the pond shrunk considerably.

He slowly retracted the Chakra, causing the Jutsu to deform.

'Ha~ I'm glad I have a large Chakra reserve'

He breathed a sigh of relief. His Chakra reserves could rival a Chunin's! That was the one thing he really thought was a blessing.

He had trained very hard to achieve it. From the small of Chakra exercises to the hardest ones.

"Sasuke"

A well-built man with raven hair and black eyes whispered behind him. Sasuke turned his head to meet the eyes of the Uchiha patriarch.

"I always knew you were more talented than Itachi. Good job, you can continue...I'll be taking my leave"

With those words, The father left the son alone... Once again. He felt a tinge of irritation.

'Talent?... I've worked so hard. And all of that was ignored and washed away by a single word?'

Sasuke looked at his own reflection in the pond, trying to find where this talent was.

'Calm down Sasuke. You have better things to do than take this old guy's words to heart'

He reasoned and continued to train. Trying to forget about the old man's words.

'I should've slept last night'

Sasuke thought to himself, feeling sleepy in class.

"Sasuke Uchiha! Focus"

A chock piece flew right toward his forehead. Sasuke caught it in the nick of time.

"Yes, Iruka-Sensei"

"Sigh...Just focus. Now then, let's continue where we left off"

Sasuke started to pay attention to class. Afterall, knowledge was power... atleast that's what Itachi said to him.

'Itachi is really strong. I should take his words into consideration'

He thought to himself, not even bothering to refer Itachi as his brother. From his view, he was nothing but a stranger giving some pointers.

'Don't blame me Itachi. This is the consequences of your actions'

Their relationship was fragile from the start. Time only ripped it further, there were only bits and pieces of emotions left for Itachi.

"...Sasuke?"

A soothing voice entered his ear. He shifted his head to look at the worried-looking Ino.

"Yeah?"

He asked, looking at the blonde with shallow eyes.

"Nothing"

She shook her head with a smile. Her hand moved for his's. She gently placed her palm over his hand.

"We're having a small bonfire today. You coming?"

"I apologize. I can't, I have to train"

Sasuke shook his head much to Ino's disappointment. She quickly put on a mask and nodded with a cheerful smile.

"It's alright. although..."

"although?"

Her face reddened a bit.

"Can we hang out..Like, you and me...a-alone and stuff"

"Yeah, I don't mind"

Her face lit up like a candle. Finally, she mustered out the courage to ask him out, and what more, he agreed!

"Can we hang out tomorrow?"

"No"

"Day after that?"

"No"

"...T-Then...what about this coming spring?"

"Hmm"

Sasuke pondered a bit, even though he would still train even then, a small walk won't hurt, right?

"I guess we can go then"

Sasuke nodded. Even though Ino's dream of going out tomorrow didn't come true, she could go out after 5 weeks!

...Yahoo...Sigh.

'This guy'

A bit of a ruckus was going on the class. Apparently, Sakura Haruna has punched and knocked out the 'class clown', aka, Naruto Uzumaki.

'I could imagine the dread in their face if someone revealed he was the son of the Fourth'

Sasuke thought to himself with a small chuckle. Truly, this world he had been born into was very intriguing.

"Sakura! what do you think you're doing!?"

Ino asked her, anger visible in her voice.

"Why do you even care about this pervert Ino, go away!"

Sakura lashed her anger towards Ino, who was helping Naruto get up.

"You see that, Naruto. She doesn't care about you, just let her go at this point"

Ino softly said to Naruto. His eyes were covered with his blonde hair. Tears ran down his cheeks, he got up and walked away without uttering a word.

'It was bound to happen, one day or another'

Sasuke too walked away from the crowd and made his way toward the Uchiha compound.

Ino knew he was busy right now so she didn't chase after him. She respected his privacy.

'I should check my Chakra affinities. Fire is a 100%. But, I'd like to see if there's another'

Nodding to himself. He walked toward a Ninja equipment shop to get a chakra paper.

He purchased it and returned to the training ground of the Uchiha Clan.

"Let's see..."

Sasuke sat cross-legged on the ground and held the paper in between his fingers. He channeled Chakra through it and observed the paper closely.

'Holy Sh-'
