9 Lack In Experience

Sasuke was walking back towards his apartment, he decided to take the long route through the forest as he felt the need to admire the Nature for a bit.

*Crack*

'What the'

A crackling noise rang through the forest, birds were flying left and right without stopping. Sasuke neared the source, trying to find what the cause was.

"4001!...4002!...4003!"

'A kid?'

He saw a kid who wore green spandex, not much older than he is, doing push-ups while sweating buckets.

Sasuke observed the youth, his eyes screamed resolution. The trees nearby him were cracked, punch marks visible on them.

Sasuke was going to step back, but that was a mistake.

*Snap*

He stepped on the cursed branch of cliche.

"Who goes by there!?"

The kid wearing the green spandex sprung to his feet, he kept his guard up as he observed a specific area.

*Rustle*

"I, Rock Lee! Shall take you out!"

When Sasuke emerged from the bushes, he saw Rock Lee flying toward him, ready to kick him back.

His instincts flared, quickly activating the Sharingan, he was able to dodge the attack by a sidestep in the nick of time.

"Haiyaa!!"

However, Rock Lee used the tree as a surface and sprang back toward Sasuke. At that moment, Rock Lee's eyes met his's, Lee's face turned into that of dread.

"Oh No!! Careful, blacky!!"

Lee shot forward like a rocket, Sasuke's reflexes were right in time to dodge his strike again.

'This guy's fast!'

Sasuke thought. Finally, Lee was able to land on the ground safely.

"Phew... You could have died if I didn't hold back"

Sasuke just stared at the guy In front of him. He observed him once more... Real close.

"Green spandex, thick eyebrows... Bowl cut... Are you perhaps, Rock Lee? Might Gai's student?"

Lee's eyes sparkled as he heard Sasuke's words. Finally, he was getting some recognition.

"Ah! Your youthful words have brought great joy to me! Come here friend, let us have a youthful hug!!"

Lee launched himself on Sasuke and tightly hugged him. Sasuke used the moment to gauge his physical prowess.

Not leaving Sasuke to utter a word, Lee got his stance quickly. Sasuke's whole demeanor changed, ready to take the guy on.

'I wanna analyze his Style... The timing of the attacks, the right momentum and power, everything'll be scanned'

Lee lunged toward Sasuke, the latter was able to read Lee's movements but his body couldn't fully keep up.

Sasuke had just dodged a roundabout kick to his head with a duck. But Lee didn't plan to go easy, he quickly spun his body mid-air and delivered an axe kick on Sasuke's head.

Sasuke was just able to guard the attack with his hands, his hands shook from the impact of the attack.

'Those skinny muscles have insane explosive power'

Sasuke frowned. He grabbed Lee's hand and pulled him toward him, bringing up his knee, Sasuke was able to land a clean strike.

Lee knelt on the ground receiving the Impact. He smirked as he got up as quickly as he was brought to the ground.

"Is that the extent of your abilities? If so, this fight is over!"

With a battle cry, Lee launched forward at high speed, Sasuke couldn't react, he was sent flying across with a jab.

Adjusting mid-air, Sasuke was somehow able to land safely. But the relief was temporary, Lee was approaching him quickly.

The Intensity of the fight increased. Sasuke improved little by little, analyzing and pairing Lee's attack little by little.

Sasuke's hands were shaking as he tried to deflect off Lee's punches and Kicks with his arms, Lee's combat style was super impressive!

'Now!'

Sasuke thought as he saw Lee's going for a mid-air roundabout kick, Sasuke timed it right and parried the attack perfectly.

Both of their right legs clashed mid-air, Sasuke used the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Sasuke spun mid-air, ignoring the pain that he felt as he slightly twisted his ankle, he brought down his left leg and went directly for Lee's head.

"Impressive... But not enough"

Lee smirked, he caught Sasuke's leg with his free hand and threw him down with full force.

The latter fell right into Lee's trap, he had already predicted Sasuke's actions beforehand. In Lee's eyes, Sasuke was a diamond in the rough...needing to be polished.

The point was, Sasuke greatly lacked experience... Which Lee also didn't have much, but he wasn't completely inexperienced like Sasuke.

'The rate of his growth is abnormal'

Rock Lee narrowed his eyes. Sasuke was adapting to his combat style in a matter of minutes, it was too fast for it to be true.

Sasuke groaned as he got up, he had used wind style to make the impact on the ground less.

Sasuke looked at his trembling hands, he felt as if his muscles were burning raw! Fortunately, he had avoided fatal blows to main areas like his solar plexus and his stomach.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a person looking like the carbon copy of Lee popped out. Although he was much older.

"I am so proud of you Lee!"

The man said with a thumbs up. He also wore the green spandex but a vest on top of it.

"Gai Sensei!!"

"Lee!!"

They both burst out in tears, hugging like koalas. Sasuke just looked at the scene, finding every second of it absurd.

'The hell is happening?'
