1 The Transmigration on a Birthday

/Kirigaya Residence/

-November 8, 2015-

Inside a small room, where there were not many things inside. A small bed, a small square table with a computer on top of it, and a bookshelf full of books about computers. On top of the bed was a sleeping figure of not older than seven-years-old.

The figure was that of a boy or a girl as it was very hard to identify because of his facial features that had no trace of masculinity on it making the figure looked like a girl but at the same, the figure had a slightly long neat black hair and was wearing a boy's clothes.

The figure suddenly opened his eyes revealing deep black eyes that are like a black hole capable of attracting the attention of anyone who looks at it.

"Where am I?" asked the figure while looking around in curiosity. "This looks like Kirito's room…." the figure murmured. He then gets off the bed and stood in front of the mirror and was shocked by what he saw.

"I-I look like Kirito!... But younger... am I his brother?" asked the boy to himself, but then realized something and said again, "But Kirito didn't have a brother, he only had a sister. And Suguha is not even his real sister."

"Hmmm…." The boy looked seriously at his reflection on the mirror as if he was looking for something. Then after a few minutes of looking at it for who knows what he was even looking at he suddenly said.

"I am Kirito, or Kirigaya Kazuto to be exact."

That was what he came up with because of his appearance and because of the memories he had which really shouts 'I AM KAZUTO!' it was just that he didn't notice it immediately as he was too busy looking at his own face.

But after realizing that he was Kirito, he then thought to himself, 'Who am I then? Why do I feel like I am not really Kirito before? And Why do I feel like I have forgotten something important?'

The boy was feeling very confused right now as he had no idea how to describe what he was feeling at the moment. He knew that he was Kazuto, but at the same time knows that he really isn't. And then he knew that he had a life before but doesn't remember much about it.

"Whatever! From now on, I will be Kazuto. It's not that bad after all." the boy of Kazuto from now on chuckled to himself. The door to his room though suddenly opened a short black-haired girl entered his room.

"Onii-chan, Happy Birthday!!" the girl smilingly said to him as she hugged him. Kazuto also hugged her back as he knows who she is.

Who else would she be if not Suguha? The lovable kind-hearted cousin of Kirito who was broken-hearted because she was not loved by Kirito more than a cousin. But that would change from now on as the current Kirito will surely give her the love she truly deserves.

"Thank you Sugu!" the two of them break off from their hug and Kazuto really saw that Suguha was very reluctant to separate. "So where's mom Sugu-chan?"

Suguha who was a little bit sad because they were not hugging anymore suddenly had her eyes brightened hearing that Kazuto called her name with the –chan which made it more intimate and cute.

"Onii-chan you called my name with –chan. Are you not shy anymore?" Suguha asked as she tilted her head. As far as she can remember her Onii-chan would never call her name with a -chan because he is shy to do so.

Hearing this, Kazuto was a little bit taken aback as he looked at Suguha's innocent eyes. He then smiled at her and pinched her nose which earned him a cute glare from the girl.

"Why would I be shy if it is my little Sugu-chan?" asked Kazuto as he then patted her head to lessen her glare at him.

Suguha then smiled brilliantly as she then began to drag Kazuto out of his room.

"Come, come, Onii-chan. Mom has a surprise for you!" Suguha said but then suddenly realized that she just revealed that their mom has a surprised for Kazuto. She then turned to look at her Onii-chan and just saw that he looked like he didn't hear it so she sighed in relief.

"Come on Onii-chan hurry up. Let's go downstairs, don't make me drag you!"

Kazuto really heard what she just said but just acted like he didn't as he doesn't want the girl to be sad because of revealing the surprised which was supposed to be intended for him. He then just followed Suguha downstairs.

As they arrived downstairs, Suguha and Kazuto who were still wearing their pajamas were welcomed by their mom, Midori holding a cake with two layers and seven lit candles on top of it while their dad, Minetaka was holding a banner which had the words 'Happy Birthday Kazuto' written on it.

"Happy Birthday Kazu-chan!!" they both said at the same time.

Kazuto who was looking at them was quite surprised even though he already knew that there was a surprise waiting for him downstairs. But his surprise was mostly by the fact that he had a father or uncle-in-law which he never saw in the original series.

He then looked at Midori and was not surprised that Suguha will grow up to be such a beauty as she had totally inherited it from her. On the other hand, Minetaka was just an average looking guy which means that he was just very lucky to have Midori as a wife.

"Thanks, mom, dad!" Kazuto walked towards them and then hugged them, it was not an act but a real one as he really felt thankful towards them.

Although he can't remember anything about his past, he was sure that he was quite a loner. He had not seen it but he was sure as he can feel the Loner Aura inside of him. But he vowed to be never alone anymore.

As if remembering something, Kazuto looked around him as if he was looking for someone, seeing this, Midori and Minetaka immediately realized who he was looking for.

"If you're looking for your grandfather, he is at the dojo waiting for you, he told us to make you go there after here." Midori helplessly said as she remembers her father who is really stubborn and won't stop at training in kendo even though he was already too old.

"Okay, mom! Let's eat the cake now!" Kazuto excitedly said. He was also excited to meet his grandfather who was a great master in kendo, he doesn't know why but he felt like he needed to learn kendo.

Midori took the cake away from them and placed it far from the table and said to them, "Not until you eat breakfast first."

After that, they eat breakfast and then the cake after that. They would talk to each other and would laugh just like what a happy family should be.

-An Hour Later-

Kazuto was already wearing a kendo outfit (No idea what it is called so I decided to call it 'Kendo outfit') he was holding a plate with a slice of cake on it. Suguha was also following him also wearing a kendo outfit.

After they finished eating, Kazuto took a bath and changed into his kendo outfit as he had a hunch that they were doing some kendo today. Suguha just copied him and then followed him going to the dojo.

When they arrived at the dojo, they just saw an old man who was wearing the same kendo outfit as them while sitting cross-legged and with his eyes closed. Looking at the old man, you could even say that he looks like some sort of cultivator but Kazuto knows that that is impossible.

From what he can remember, his grandfather's name is Narusaka Haruto and he seems to be already 87 years old this year but still looked healthy.

As if he had sensed them entering, Haruto opened his eyes and then looked at both Kazuto and Suguha. With a deep voice, he said to them, "Enter now and we will start the practice!"
