Beta Tester

I hope things don't get too confusing for you guys, I'm a beginner writer, and it's my first time writing fanfiction related to "Sword Art Online."

I'm looking forward to doing my best and building a story, at least, interesting and with time, understands the plot u want to convey.

"Ouch!… What the fuck is that?" Reno asked himself as he massaged his hand on his forehead to relieve the pain, but the boy in front of him was doing the same.

And that boy just happened to be one of the Beta Testers of the SAO game, where Reno and I exchanged glances for the first time.

"Sorry, buddy, I didn't see you on the way." Reno says, and he gets up to the boy's hand, he gladly accepts the boy's help and gives Reno a light smile.

"It's all right, buddy, be careful next time." Said the polite boy to him.

Then they both stand up and greet each other, saying their names.

"By the way, my nickname is Reshi, what's yours?" Reno asks the boy in front of him, while he's wiping his hands on his suit to clean off the dirt that's fallen on the floor."

Kirito is my nickname around here." Kirito replies to Reshi in a gentle tone while gesturing with his hands. "But my real name is Kirigaya Kazuto." Adds Kirito details his name for him.

"My name is Reno Kashi, nice to meet you, buddy." Reshi returned the greeting and Kirito looked away, hearing some shouts in the distance.

"Well, I have to go, I'll see you later." Said Kirito, and he ran off without saying anything else.

"Sure, take care!" Reno shouts, and he sees Kirito running towards a nearby alleyway where he was listening to the scream.

There, Reno meets another player who is part of the Beta Tester, Kirito.

The current level of the two is almost similar, Kirito would only be a little higher due to the experience of having more floors than him.

"Heh…" Reno laughs a little as he crosses his arms, but someone has unintentionally slammed his arm into Reno's body, and he remains running in front of the start-up town's sidewalk.

"What the fuck! Watch where you're going, you stranger!" Reno shouts at the man running in front of him, and he suddenly shouts back at Reno.

"Sorry buddy!" Shouts the man, and he enters the same alley that Kirito ran down.

"Um… All right then." Reno calmly accepted this and set off walking through the city in search of some objective.

"Hey! You there!" The man shouts to Kirito, and he suddenly stops in his tracks to see what he wants.

"Me? What do you want?" Kirito asks, turning to the man who was running after him.

Apparently he didn't have any habit of running about the start-up town, he was sighing heavily and hoping to pull himself together so that he could talk to Kirito.

Kirito then watched him and wasn't the least bit tired after a run down the nearby alley… experience runs in Kirigaya Kazuto's veins.

"Your way of moving is surreal, you look like you've been here several times before." Said the man with great surprise on his face. "You're one of SAO's Beta Testers, aren't you? He asks and then stands up to keep his posture straight.

"Yes…" Kirito agrees, observing the face of the stranger, but then the man begins to introduce himself in front of him.

"Today is my first day here in the world of Sword Art Online, wouldn't it be possible for you to give me some pointers on how to improve?" the man explained, stepping close to Kirito and resting his hand on the boy's shoulder.

Kirito didn't know how to react and felt a little awkward about the whole thing, so the man continued to explain.

"I beg you!" Exclaims the man as he places his hands on each other as if to say (Please) or (Amen) "Oh… I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Klein, nice to meet you!"

Klein says hello to Kirito while pointing his hand at himself, showing his enthusiasm for meeting someone.

Kirito then gives a small smile and crosses his left arm, watching Klein's face.

"My name is Kirito." He says a few words in greeting and the two smile at each other.

The scene shows Reno in a large green field full of wild boar growing in triangular shapes.

"Right, I'm bored… Good wild pig meat is what I'm craving." Reno thought, observing a dark blue boar in front of him.

He was very hungry, this being for his character… since eating in the game doesn't take away the hunger he feels in the real world.

It was then that Reno opened his menu.

= Player Menu =

[Weapons] – Iron Sword (Obtained from Class Menu)

He conjures the beginner's sword in his hand and stands in a position to fight.

The Boar senses that someone wants to confront it, so it starts making noise and runs up to Reno.

Reno's sword begins to glow, and he runs at the Boar with all his speed.

"Graaaaa!" Reno shouts, and he cuts the Boar in half with his blade, causing the animal to lose all its HP and disintegrate into blue triangles.

"Let's eat well, haha!" Reno said cheerfully and sat down on the grass to watch the scenery.
