Iron Chairs...

June 12th,

I regained consciousness in a sleek, silver-lined room. Soft blue light emanated from the floor, illuminating polished marble and holographic screens as my eyelashes flickered and I tried to adjust to the light as I had no idea how long I had been unconscious for. Lissa also stirred beside me as I struggled to sit up. My body felt limp and my bones felt like rubber. The air was thick with the scent of luxury leather and ozone. A gentle hum filled the space, punctuated by soft chimes. I tried to move, but restraints held me in place.

Oh God...

I felt like I had made a huge mistake. I felt like my world had ended. Soon, the others woke up and were struggling to sit up too.

"Guys are you okay?" Anaia asked as Ray grunted in response.

"W-why's this happening to us? I just wanted to live a normal life-" Lissa said, breaking down in tears as I tried hard to suppress mine.

"Let's calm down. I believe God has a plan, after all, He's the one who instructed us to go." I said, in a attempt to help them not to panic even though I was really panicking on my inside.

"But it's not as easy as you say it. Gosh these things are so uncomfortable!" Ray complained a he kept struggling.

"B-but I'm still confused at Danielle's behavior. She's changed so much." Tony said as we all nodded. She had really grown....not just how we expected it to be.

"So, you mean this Dany girl is now against us?" Anaia asked.

"Yeah. Sadly I don't really know why...it's disheartening..." I said.

"And also, how's she so close to Kyros? Like she's all over him like his girlfriend or something." Ray added.

"Yeah that baffles me too..." Lissa said, sniffing.

"Guys, let's pray. After all, that's the only thing we can do now. We don't know what's gonna happen next or what they're going to do with us so let's pray."

We all bowed our heads and closed our eyes as Anaia said a prayer.

"Father we are so stressed right now and we have no idea what's goin to happen to us. We plead Your protection upon us and we ask that You strengthen us the more to be able to achieve what You have planned concerning our stay here. Lord we know that You want to use us to restore Brookville, we just don't know how but we are willing to follow Your lead. Guide us Lord, Amen." We all chorused after she had prayer.

"So, anyone got any ideas on how to escape these chairs?" Ray asked as I sighed and Tony grunted. Our hands and feet were firmly held in the metal braces and i had no idea on how to escape.

"Shhh! Guys do you hear footsteps?" Tony asked as we all suddenly went quiet.

"Someone's coming!" Lissa gasped, her face pale.

hey guys I'm so sorry for the long hold up. Enjoy !
