5 Konoha's Power

For A, Shamon and Gengetsu everything what's currently happening was certainly not in their plan at all.

It's been less than 10 minutes since they start to fight the master and disciples, and as the fight progress their face became more and ugly.

In their original plan, because of their alliance, they thought that Konoha wouldn't dare to easily meddle in this fight. But even if they did, from their information except from Hiruzen, only Danzo, Sakumo Hatake and Torifu Akimichi reach the Kage level, and they knew that Uzumaki Mito died that's why they dare to do it.

So they thought that it was obviously unrealistic for Konoha to bring all their powerhouse to the battlefield. But just in case, they still brought the Jinchuriki with them.

But what did they see? Hiruzen's three disciples all reach the Kage level, one even awaken the Mokuton! If it was only that, it would be nothing, Gengetsu still had six tail beasts behind. But what them more unacceptable is that after Kurama Tenma came with Konoha army he immediately use his Genjutsu Kekkei genkai on Chomei and Gyuki and made them fought against their own army and other tail beasts!

The three leader of the alliance really wanted to complain. Since when did the Kurama clan became so strong that they could do that kind of thing?

Actually it wasn't just them, even Hiruzen and the others were dumbfounded by Tenma increase in power.

But for Hiruzen it was just a little surprise because he himself knew.

Actually when he saw the Kurama clan and their unreasonable Genjutsu, the only thought about that was : this is simply Aizen who create a family!

For him the Kurama clan was simply Aizen with some defect.

Actually when the Kurama clan appears there was a consensus among many on why their Kekkei Genkai killed them : they possess to much Yin Chakra for their body to handle.

If so then for Hiruzen it was very easy to handle, just give them more Yang Chakra to balance their excess.

And indeed it worked. Now not only Tenma other personality disappear, but he could actually control his Kekkei Genkai. The only problem now was that his Genjutsu still need a medium to work with. But it wasn't that big of a problem specially for Tenma who use a the wound cause by his katana as medium. Like Hidan, as long as you were hit it was basically finish.

As for the tail beasts, because normally scratch was nothing for them, they didn't pay attention to it, and now all they had to pay for it.

But obviously Shamon and the other didn't know this, they only saw Kurama Tenma on the head of a Gyuki full form leading it to cause damage to their army with Konoha's 5 000 shinobi help too.

This was really the worst situation for them. Or at least that what they thought. If they knew that the combat power of Hiruzen was actually stronger than what he show right now, they will probably surrender on the spot.

The only reason Hiruzen currently seem to be equal to them, was because it was his first fight as a shinobi! Let's remember that four days ago he was just a normal student from earth.

But because of both Hiruzens memories he start to adapt quickly to that kind of fight, and his opponent also felt it. In they perception it was like Hiruzen gradually became stronger through the fight.

After avoiding Hiruzen dangerous shuriken shadow clones jutsu with his Steamy clone explosion Gengetsu couldn't help but complain.

"Is there some kind of magic in the title Hokage? Why does it seems like everyone with this title suddenly becole stronger? Tobirama was like that, and you actually evolve during the battle!"

Seeing that he couldn't evade A, Hiruzen deflect his Hell Stab with a rasengan by hitting the wrist. Then with his other hand he made some hand signs.

"Futon: Wind Blade!"

Being still in the air, A was inevitably hit by the wind blade of Hiruzen, who seized the opportunity. Because of Hiruzen high attainment in Chakra nature, A almost lost his left arm. It was only thanks to his strong body that the wind blade couldn't cut it completely. But even though his arm was now incapacitated.

Not wanting to give the Hokage anymore chances, A quickly withdraw from his position to distance himself.

It was only after having a little break that Hiruzen replied to Gengetsu cheekily.

"You actually praise me too much. I know a guild that is more outrageous than us Konoha. Contrary to us, they can power up by just stating the name of their guild. We Konoha are still far from there level."

Gengetsu mouth twitch at that answer.

"Does such organization exist? Beside you don't refute the fact that the title Hokage give you a power up?! And you still say that it's not enough?!? Sandaime Hokage you really deserve a beating!" As if on cue his Steamy Danger Tyranny Clone dash toward Hiruzen with a mini explosion to gain more speed. In parallel he summon his Giant Clam who immediately release mists after its appearance.

With a sigh, Hiruzen tried to distance from clone once again by creating some obstacles with Doton. His priority being the farthest possible from it when it explode. Which was difficult because of the incredible speed it had due to its light weight.

Seeing that Hiruzen couldn't get ride of the Steamy Clone for the time being, the Raikage met the Mizukage on the Clam head.

"Hōzuki, we have to finish this quickly. The Hokage rise in power is too quick. If his jutsu had was aimed to my head earlier I would probably be dead already. Furthermore, I don't think that our troop would be able to take it with the Uzumaki in front and Konoha at the back." A didn't talk about his half brother Blue B being under control otherwise he didn't know if he could keep calm.

"I know, but you also see that even if I wanted to do so, I can't." helplessly reply Gengetsu. "Hiruzen who could only fight us one on one can already do a two v one after ten minute of fight. And right now the one in the most dangerous isn't us but Shamon."

Indeed, as Gengetsu said, if Shamon didn't stay on the edge all this time, against the teamwork of the Konoha Sannin, he would have already died.

In fact if it was A or Hōzuki Gengetsu who had fought them they would have died by now or escape. The only reason Shamon was still alive was thanks to his numerous puppets and his Jiton (Magnet escape).

He used his Jiton to not give to much time for Tsunade to use Mokuton and make unable to use her famous taijutsu. While using his puppets against the two ninjutsu Specialist, Jiraya and Orochimaru. Even though the latters wanted to switch positions to fight the puppet ms to finally break the stalemate but Shamon didn't gave her any chance to do so.

But while the kage duo knew that they had to kill Hiruzen quickly if they wanted to win, but they just couldn't do it in practice. That guy was just too versatile!

When at first Gengetsu tried to fight him with suiton, Hiruzen immediately reply with Raiton and Doton jutsus. And when A tried Raiton against him, he show a still amazing mastery over Fuuton. And sometimes he could still find the time to combine it with Katon or Suiton.

But in the eyes of the Kage it was nothing. With his display over ninjutsu they just concluded that he was a Ninjutsu specialist. So logically his Taijutsu should be his weakness right? Who knew that that as soon as the Raikage came to confront Hiruzen in a Taijutsu contest, he received a Konoha Dynamic Entry to his face followed by a powerful strange power to his stomach, making fly away immediately.

Then just so they wouldn't have to confirm his level of genjutsu, he put Shamon under illusion while Tsunade was attacking the latter. If it wasn't for Gengetsu timely rescue they would have lost the Kazekage after only 10 minutes of fight.

It was from this moment onwards that they knew what kind of monster they were fighting against.

Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Ninjutsu. He could do all to the level of a Kage. For them, Hiruzen was just a super hexagonal warrior equipped with a jutsu encyclopedia.

And the worst was that encyclopedia could improve during battle. How can they not despair?

And this was true even at that time.

Hiruzen who was getting annoyed with the Steamy Clone and wanted to finish the battle quickly, finally thought of a way.

The clone could only do taijutsu before exploding, and after seeing the clone explode for the 6th time, Hiruzen could now judge when it would explode.

Having decided, under the astonished gaze of the Kage duo, he stopped himself and decided to confront the clone head-on. Or that was what he made them think.

After a little fight, the Steamy Clone was already ready to explode. But Hiruzen was ready.

When the clone latch on the Sandaime, before it explode, the later quickly took a small blank scroll from his pouch.

"Houin Fuukoku!"

The Clone didn't have the time to be surprised, he seal directly in the scroll.

"...Your Clone can still be sealed?" Asked A quietly.

"I didn't even know that myself..." Said Gengetsu through his teeth.

But that's the only thing they had to say, because Hiruzen did a more outrageous thing. After receiving the scroll he immediately throw it to the unsuspecting back of Shamon while preparing a seal. Upon seeing both Kage face change.

" " SHAMON BE CAREFUL! " "

But the reminder came too late.

"Release!"

BOOM

With a tacit understanding everyone stopped to see the results, with each a different expecting in heart.

Actually for A and Gengetsu, if it wasn't for today alliance, they would be happy that Suna lost their Kazekage. But right now, he died, it would mean that they had lost completely.

The Kiri alliance was like Uzushio who had no option. They could retreat whenever they wanted. Actually from the moment Hiruzen and Konoha show their powers Gengetsu had the idea of retreating. It's just that he was a little unwilling to back without gaining anything.

But after seeing Shamon current state, even if he was unwilling he knew they couldn't continue the battle.

After the smoke dispersed allies and opponent saw an unconscious Shamon covered by iron sand. It was obvious that Shamon tried to protect himself in hurry but the result was there : he failed! Which means they failed too.

The third Raikage and Gengetsu look at each other before taking action.

Gengetsu directed his Steamy Clone to Jiraya and Orochimaru, forcing Tsunade to save them, while at the same time, A took the unconscious Kazekage.

"ALL TROOPS WITHDRAW!" Shout the second Mizukage without any hesitation.

As if they heard the voice of salvation all the shinobi of the Alliance started to retreat without any delay. Then without greeting Hiruzen, Gengetsu use his Calm mist as a cover, and disappear in front of him with the other Kage.

Hiruzen didn't try to stop them because his objective was already met. He only came to prevent the annihilation of the Uzumaki clan not to fight 3-4 country to death. So after they flee away Hiruzen didn't ordered for a chase. But instead took care of his own.

"Tsunade take all the Iryo-nin available and look for any injured shinobi."

But while saying this, Hiruzen was already thinking about something else.

'We won! I Won!'

Hiruzen didn't know, but he felt that this was something significant for him. Because in a way he did something that the old Hiruzen didn't do. He also didn't do the thing that made the old Hiruzen fall.

This significant, because suddenly he felt a little more Inked to reality, to this world.

So this 'war' was short I know. But it was actually my first time writing that kind of thing so I cut it short so I wouldn't mess up to much. I still tried to give the situation of each part of the battlefield, but because it wasn't detailed enough it's still feel weak. Like for example how and why Shamon could success in keeping at bay the sannin who got a power up when he wasn't said to be as powerful as Hanzo.

Next time I'll take my time to do a proper fight.
