7 Chapter 07 : Blood Soul Clones

After an hour traveling north at their fastest speed, they arrived at what looked like a city deep into the Brightwood mountains.

The city was crudely built between two mountains with some structures being built on the mountains themselves and grottoes could be seen in high numbers on the faces of the mountains.

"Good, there's no sentries. They probably don't think that there isn't anyone who would be crazy enough to attack them. It's a good thing we have the full moon tonight. With this much light and our night vision, we can kill at our hearts content, but we need a plan. How do you plan on doing it?" John asked his son. From what he could see, there were thousands of houses and even more grottoes.

"I need to know some things from you before I do anything else." Drake seriously said.

"Anything. What do you need to know?" John asked.

"I want to know the power systems of this world and the strength of individuals and how beasts are classified." Said Drake.

"This is simple. The beasts go from Class 1 to Class 12. That's equivalent to Energy Condensation to Nascent Soul realm for cultivators. Beasts from Class 1 to Class 3 are equivalent to the nine levels of Energy Condensation realm. Beasts from Class 4 to Class 6 are equivalent to Early, Middle and Late stage Foundation Establishment realm. Beasts from Class 7 to Class 9 are equivalent to Early, Middle and Late Golden Core realm... And Beasts from Class 10 to Class 12 are equivalent to Early, Middle and Late Nascent Soul realm. Beyond that, beasts are called Void Beasts while the humans are called Void Sages, then next is Law Beast and the human counterpart is Law Breaker. After that, it's the God realm." John said in one breath.

"So, from what you just said and what I felt, the Green Dragon should've been a Class 10, Nascent Soul realm early stage, beast. Evelyn was a Middle stage Nascent Soul from the strength of her blood prior to the increase of her strength to the late stage Nascent Soul realm after ingesting the level 6 purified Crystals. From the strength of his Blood, Mufasa was a Void Beast and it would take at least another Void beast To kill him. If I had been a little stronger in my mastery of blood magic, I could've been able to transform his blood into level 7 purified blood. We can also surmise that our main enemy, his nephew is a Void Beast or has someone with that strength under his orders."

"So? You think we can take on a Void Beast and all these thousands of others beasts in a single night?" John felt dizzy, feeling that he was asking for something impossible.

"Piece of cake. I just need to prepare beforehand. Trust me, they won't know what hit them." Said Drake.

Drake's first thought was to use his Blood Magic to create Blood Soul Clones of himself. Those clones would then enter the Beast City and then start their massacre. Those clones were invisible since they were only made of his blood and could use his Blood Magic at the same level he could. The problem lied in the number of Blood Soul Clones he could summon before his vitality ran dry. The more, the better and the faster they could kill all the beasts hiding inside the Beast City.

"Wait! Can't I just absorb all the vitality in the forest around me to fuel the creation of Blood Soul Clones?" As he thought of that, Drake immediately started to absorb all the vitality around him by putting his paw on the ground. As the vitality in a fifty meter radius was sucked dry, he found out that it was his limit. He had to use it up before he looked for more vitality.

'Blood Magic : Blood Soul Clones.'

One Blood Soul Clone after another came out of his wolf body.

When it was over, there were more than two hundred miniature blood wolves around them.

He repeated the process five times until there was no vitality left to absorb on the surroundings.

In the five hundred meters around them, it was now a barren land with dried up trees.

He now had more than twelve hundred Blood Soul Clones.

"Go. Start with the beasts from class 3 to class 9. Make sure that you're silent and undetectable to the higher level beasts. When you've finished purifying the blood of those low level beasts, come back and bring back all your harvested purified crystals. After that, you go back and take care of the Nascent souls." Drake ordered to his minions. "Is it understood?" Drake asked them.

"Yes, sir." All the Blood Soul Clones said in unison before departing like the wind towards the beast city.
