3 Prince charming

The next morning, Yuki went to Lady Hana's room, "I think you are much suited to be a lady than me, Yuki," Lady Hana who had bent in front of Yuki applied the rose balm to bring out the tint on the maid's lips.

"I am going to get caught, Lady Hana," Yuki replied, feeling the jitters working through her nerves. Though she had worked for the Takeda's for barely six months, a maid that could be lost in the crowd of other maids, there was no saying what punishment would be handed down to her for acting in Lady Hana's place.

After a lot of persuasion from the young elite lady, Yuki had reluctantly decided to act as a stand-in thinking it was only for a day. She was clothed in the Lady's expensive kimona made of silk which her skin had never had the opportunity to feel. The texture felt smooth like water, her fingertips gliding across the material in awe.

"It's just for a day," assured Lady Hana when Yuki stood up to look at the mirror where her view was blocked because of the person standing in front of her, "Do not worry. With the silken hood covering your face partially, no one will realize it," straightening the kimono, the lady finally moved away, "There. You look just like me, maybe less pretty," Lady Hana joked with a wink while she nervously smiled back.

They had traded clothes, Lady Hana wore Yuki's maid uniform while Yuki wore the Lady's kimono.

When her eyes fell on the person in front of the mirror, she could hardly recognize herself. She looked like an entirely different girl. Apart from the clothes which she had changed from the maid uniform to kimono, Yuki's hair, which she usually tied up into a bun was let loose. The fringes she hid by tying a thin scarf around her hair now rested on her forehead delicately. Her face which was dirty before had been cleaned, cheeks looking pink along with her lips, she looked at Lady Hana.

At the same time, firm knocks were heard on the other side of the door.

"Lady Hana, excuse my interruption," hearing the voice blood began to drain out of Yuki's already pale face, "If you are free this morning, I would like to take you out to the city as an apology."

Looking at the door, Yuki waited for Lady Hana to speak and instead got pinched.

"Ow!"

"Yuki, answer him!" Lady Hana whispered.

"What do I say?" Initially, she had thought that she only had to show her face as Lady Hana until her arrival but who knew she had to answer Lord Seokjin and now the eldest Lord wanted to take the Lady outside, which was her!

"Lady Hana?" Lord Seokjin's soft voice drifted from where he stood, "You must be sleeping. Let me come back later."

"Quick," Lady Hana ushered her towards the door, "It isn't time to stall him," and the door opened for Yuki to step out of the door where Lord Seokjin stood. His brown hair was combed neatly, his brown eyes looking at her.

Not knowing what to do, Yuki bowed her head and spoke, "I apologize for not replying earlier. I was getting ready."

"Please don't. I should have sent a maid or my retainer to inform you about my arrival at your door," Lord Seokjin's polite words made her cheeks warm with heat, "Let me introduce myself. I am Seokjin Takeda, the first son of Takeda Kiyoshi."

"Yu-" she began to introduce to hear Lady Hana cough behind her, she corrected herself quickly, "Lady Hana, niece of Lord Matayoshi."

"The sky is bright and the weather cool. I think it's the right time to walk through the city. I heard there's a fair being set up in the next village," seeing her eyes brighten up, Lord Seokjin took it as a sign that she was willing to walk with him. It had come to become a routine, to take the woman his mother set him up with outside, "Shall we head out then?" he asked.

"Yes," she nodded taking in a deep breath of air.

Yuki waited for Lord Seokjin to walk and when he did, she turned around to quickly see Lady Hana smile at her as she waved.

On their way, they were greeted with the retainers of the Takeda who bowed at them, their eyes moving to the woman who walked alongside to their Lord. With a sheen of transparent cloth that covered her face, the retainers and the maid couldn't help but be more curious about how the Lady looked.

The second son of Lord Kiyoshi, Hoseok walked from the other side to meet his brother.

"Good morning, brother Jin. Lady Hana," he bowed his head politely. When he looked at her, he couldn't help but stare at the woman as if something felt out of place.

"Hoseok," Lord Seokjin broke his brother's stare seeing that it was making the Lady next to him uncomfortable.

"Yes," Hoseok replied.

"I'll be taking Lady Hana out. Please watch over the palace until then."

"Of course," Hoseok smiled before returning back his gaze on the lady, "Please have a wonderful time. We have beautiful lands to look at," he said to see the Lady nod in response.

*A few kilometers away from the Takeda palace*

His back rested against the wooden cart which was filled with hay, the two cows pulled the cart. With his hand which he had placed under his head as support, he looked at the sky which drifted with clouds as a snail would.

He wondered how long had it been since he left the palace to train himself under the monks? Unlike his to brothers who had learned martial art by the temple priests, Taehyung had been sent to the monks by his father. Being the troublemaker since a very young age, his father and the others had a hard time teaching anything at all. It was quite often for him to get into a brawl in the middle of a street which his family didn't approve of.

Fortunate or unfortunately, Taehyung had been disciplined through and through by the monks, especially the head monk, maturing him in the months he was there. He was happy that he was finally going to return back home but that wasn't all to it.

Now that he was skilled in the art of fighting, he couldn't wait to go to the village to beat up the men who were the reason for him being away from his home
