Sameer Maheshwari:

A good looking handsome 17 year old boy with teen physique and charming facial feature who has moved recently to ahmedabad to live with his nanu..as he is too naughty and due to his mischevious act and the habit to save his friends leads him to get suspended from his school in nainital. He always earns for love and thats the sole reason he came to his nanu...He loves his mother but always possessive of her but never showed his love towards her as he thinks that she doesn't love her...He hates his step father..and his granny...who always hurt him by their words or by actions.....He always does whatever his heart says..He has two friends Munna and Pandit who are like his own family and if something happens to them he can never tolerate. He got a seat in Pragathi Vidhya Mandir

Jaiprakash Maheshwari(Nanu):

A loving and very caring grandfather of Sameer. Father of Vishaka(Sameer's mom). He loves sameer a lot and he is the only person who understands sameer and his heart. He always thinsk that sameer's behaviour and feeling relates to his teenage and he believes that their feelings are similar to one another. He always supports him from his childhood till now.

Vishaka:

 Sameer's mom. She loves sameer a lot and cares for him but never showed him. She got second marriage with Vivek somani and lives with somani family.

Vivek somani:

Step father of Sameer and always hate him. He critizes sameer a lot but loves his wife and his son Rohan. He always wanted Vishaka to stay away from sameer .

Naina Agrawal:

An innocent yet intelligent 16 year old girl who is an obedient girl . She loves to study and she is the topper of her school. She lives with her chachaji and chachiji. She lover her cousin sister Preeti agrawal a lot. She is like her own sister. She is an honest and studious girl and her priorities are family, friends and studies. She is the apple of every teacher's eye. All the students in her class always sees her as Naina devi. She is a very caring girl but when she becomes angry she will turn into an angry young girl and nobody can stop or melt her anger. She is adored by her chachaji and chachiji, they love her more than their own daughters. She studies at Pragati Vidhya mandir

Anand agrawal:

Chachaji of Naina. He is a good husband and a caring father. He is a broadminded father and always supports his daughters to take their own decision. He is married to Bela and he loves his wife a lot. HE cares for naina a lot. she is like his own daughter and always been a good wellwisher of her. But he has one thing in his heart which always hurt him, the truth which he always hides from naina and he feels so bad for hiding that truth from her.

Bela agrawal:

Wife of Anand and mother of preeti and Pooja and chachi of naina. She loves her three daughters but cares for naina alot. She always gives respect to elders. She is a modern mother who understands and even supports her daughters in all their phases. But at the same time she never parts way from her responsibilites as a daughterinlaw of the house. she is a house wife. She is aware of Naina's truth and helps anand in hiding the truth..

Naresh and Beena:

They are the elder uncle and aunt of naina. They hate naina and always wanted to prove her character wrong. But they couldnt because of anand and bela as they save naina everytime and supports her a lot. They always thinks that caste is more important for them. 

Rakesh Agrawal:

Naina and Arjun's father.. but he never showed love or responsibility on naina. he loves only his son. He is a librarian in Pragati Vihya mandir. He lives with naresh and beena.

Mundit

Munna is cousin of Sameer and Pandit is a childhood friend of sameer, whenever sameer visits Ahmedabad, they will always stay together in Sameer's grandfather's house. This time they are too happy because now sameer will also be studying in Pragathi Vidhya mandir along with him. These three are the thickest friends and ready to give their lives for eachother. Sameer has heard a lot about Naina, PReeti and Swati, as Munna has a huge crush on swati and Pandit likes Preeti and Naina is the one who is the barrier in their relationship. 

Swapree

Swati is the closest friend of Naina and preeti is the closest cousin of Naina. They share a thick bond and very caring towards each other. Swati has some feelings towards Munna but never showed outside and PReeti has a soft corner on Pandit.
