Saltbearer's Chronicle - Past and Future

'I run and I run and I run, every morning I have to see for myself, will the sun show itself this time? Every night I dream of a place of destruction and pain. An endless valley of motionless men who no longer breathe; their ragged bodies mauled down as if beasts have come out of the wild and gone berserk and even though it’s morning the sun does not dare to greet this scenery, does not dare to witness this madness. The sky itself is blackened - I stand there a spectator as always the man who stands alone; the Saltbearer. I see the past as no man before me knew it, I know every detail, every little piece of knowledge resides within me, I have known the rise of man, his magnificent achievements, I know sorrow too. When man failed to withstand the gravity of his actions. I know things that will make you tremble at night, bring you down to your knees with their sheer intensity of which these actions have impacted upon history. But I know things of the past which will fill you with resounding hope, bright, like the sweetness of your mother’s embrace.’ ----------------- In the land of Etheros, a war is brewing, clans are on edge, kingdoms fall, and the realm of man is in danger once again. 500 years later a Saltbearer is trying to figure out the disappearance of his Predecessor, history seems to repeat itself, and the young Saltbearer finds himself surrounded by enemies. Will he figure out the secret of the heroes of the past in time or will the line of Saltbearers break forever?
