Salt & Silt

My sister always made fun of me for the way I looked. She was always the one with the perfect hair and the perfect teeth and the perfect clothes. She would always mock me for the way my hair laid or the uneven pocks of my skin. She especially loved to make fun of my teeth. My parents never even tried to stop her or tell me that I was fine the way I was. I thought they just had never heard her.
