A young man with black hair and red eyes, very similar to a famous romantic comedy character, opened his eyes and looked around. He was weakly lying on a hospital bed and the smell of medications assaulted his nose. He frowned slightly as he realizing that he was not alone in the room.
'Where I am? And because I feel so weak, he tried to resolve his confusion until someone called him.
"Young gentleman!"
"The young man woke up, someone call the young lady, she should be in class right now!"
"Someone call everyone you know!"
"Stop yelling! And first call a doctor, don't you see that you are bothering him, the young man just woke up after a whole year, he must be confused"
He was annoyed by his loud voices but nothing showed on my expressionless face.
"Can you shut up and explain to me what happened?" They quickly fell silent.
It seems like they are servants because of how polite they are to me.
Hadn't I committed suicide because I was bored for too long locked up in the cell of that shitty palace?
'Salomon old scoundrel! You're not even going to let me commit suicide?'
No..., looking around, this doesn't look anything like any part of that palace, nor do these people emit any magical power like a normal person from the Sacred Palace would emit.

The servants around me seemed to be explaining the situation, but it went in one ear and out the other.
I was so stunned, so happy that I couldn't pay attention to his words
I looked briefly at the doctor who was checking my body.
"Can you please leave me alone for a moment?" My voice came out quite quietly.
I don't want them to see me cry
"But sir-" I didn't let him finish the words
"You can check my health later, I want to be alone for a moment."
The doctor and the servants gave me worried glances, but they nodded and left the room.
"I am free..." although my emotions faded due to being alone for so long, I couldn't hold back my tears.
I don't know how long I was crying but I guess

"I'm so happy, I thought you'd never wake up."

I hugged Kaguya a little tighter in my arms as if I was afraid of losing this warmth.
"I'm fine now," I consoled her and looked at Hayasaka who was also shedding tears of joy.
