1 Goodbye cruel world!

"Brother, have you already decided to resign at your respective position? At your old age - you still look healthy, even your lady can't always hide her smile while she's living with you." Mr. Norman Hillford teasing his bestfriend. "You don't need to make up for that kind of decision for your company." He added.

Mr. Edward Howington dropped his smoke and stomped using his foot. Then, he starred him with a serious look and said, "Stop that."

Mr. Norman Hillford's face was full of worry as he didn't know if his bestfriend did make a correct decision - so he asked, "Do you think he can handle your company?"

Mr. Edward Howington asked back. "Do you doubt my judgement?"

"It's not like that." Mr. Norman Hillford didn't asked again.

Mr. Edward Howington noticed his behaviour was changed. He smiled at him and said, "Good! Let's go inside."

Under the moonlight. The cruise ship had been sailing in the midst of ocean. There too many people gathered here in this ship, which it could be look - this ship is like a lively city above the sea. Even it's already dark outside, most of people here are still enjoying their vacation.

But, inside the luxury dining room is different from the rest. Because there are too many important guest have been assembled for the upcoming announcement, where it will be held inside. Here, there are influential persons, business personnel's of the Howington's Company, and some of them are also a business owners from a different companies coming from all over the country. The reason why they had to attend for this occasion was to befriended and to show their interest to a newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Howington's Company.

Howington's Company is a very big name in the business world, because they got a billions of investment. They had many fixed assets like factories, buildings, lands, and even their equipments are made by their own company. Obviously, Howington's fortune cannot be underestimated by a single thought even you combined the ten companies all over the country is not enough. However, most of the companies envy for their success.

The former Chief Executive Officer Mr. Edward Howington (owner of the Howington's Company) - before he had passed his position to a newly appointed CEO - was stood in the front of many to spoke his oration about resignation.

After his speech, he introduced his son Oscar Howington as the next CEO of his company.

Mr. Oscar Howington was very delight about his father's announcement for appointing him as the next CEO of Howington's company. He really awaited this moment to shine his name in the front of many.

Then, Mr. Oscar walked to his father's side and faced everyone to begun his speech.

"Good evening! My name is Oscar Howington, to become a new CEO of my father's company is one of my biggest dream ever since I was studying in my college years ago -" (his voice sounded all over the hall)

As he continues his speech.

"No doubt this means that you will be making extra efforts and personal sacrifices. Those efforts will be recognized by the people around you and may eventually; even lead to material improvements in your situation. But, at a minimum, you will realize that some days you, too, need help. Having provided it, you will be gratified when your colleagues step up to do the same."

At the end of his speech.

"- to my colleagues, business partners and guests. Thank you for listening."

Everyone was giving him a lively applause after his dramatically speech.

Mr. Oscar Howington saw his mother and sister giving him a proud smile. Immediately, he grab his wine glass and raised it in the front of many, then he said in a proud manner.

"I wish for our great success in the future - Cheers!"

Everyone had picked their glasses and toasted to their friends and business partners.

Clink! Clink!

After Mr. Oscar finished his speech, he returned to his table while wearing a smile in his face. Some guests had came to congratulate him while others wanted to spare some time to talk about his plans. Also, people inside the luxury dinning room were discussing their plans for the future projects. Suddenly, there was a sudden explosion of fireworks over the cruise ship. People above the ship were enjoyably watching these colorful sparkly lights coming from fireworks.

At the same time, inside the luxury dinning room, there was unexpected happening. A few of tear gas bouncing all over the area and then rolled on the floor. There was a sudden smoke blew out and dispersed in every places. Everyone saw these things was surprisingly stunned and begun to panic. The room was filled with a smoky haze. Everyone's eyes started to fill with tears causing to blur their visions while some of them begun to faint.

As the luxury dining room becomes chaotic, a group of terrorist wielding their firearms was automatically appeared from elsewhere. They wore gasmask, black bulletproof vest, and knee pads which looks like they are really S.W.A.T members. But actually not, because this people are acting terrorism.

One of them shouted.

"Everyone get down!"

Everyone was trembling in fear. All they have to do is to follow accordingly to the commands of terrorist and kneel down without moving. While others were trying to find a way to escape for that situation. The middle-aged man from the corner - his face was full of regret - was hurrying to send his message to his family. Then the armed-man unexpectedly noticed his actions and shouted with angry voice.

"Hey! Stop that old man."

But, the middle-aged man still didn't stop his actions like he didn't heard that someone was shouting at him.

The armed-man was infuriated for not listening to him. So, he aimed his rifle to the middle-aged man's head and fired him without restraining himself.

Bang! bang!

Two bullets penetrated to his head.

A fresh blood splattered on the floor as the middle-aged man was laid down with his face full of disbelief. Many saw this horrifying scene, which they didn't believed it was real. Some of them begun to vomit while others were fainted.

Mr. Oscar Howington witnessed these scenes; was very distress. He didn't panicked but inside of him was began to rattle himself. He felt his sanity might went berserk if he didn't calm himself. Because everything he saw this time was very obscured to himself. As a new CEO, he should have something to do to stop this terrorist group from their murderous acts. But, he was totally helpless and could only watched without knowing what to do. Mr. Oscar looked not far away from his table, he was thinking about solution to remedy this situation. As he swept his eyes, he noticed his family was there. Only Mr. Oscar thought that his whole family were present this time and they were squatting beside the armed-man. Now he was getting more anxious for they might be killed next to the middle-aged man.

To save his family. Mr. Oscar decided to stand up and asked while his lips quivered, "What do you want? Why you have to kill innocent people here? Did we offend all of you? If all of you want is money, I can give it to you!" This is all he can do so that he can stall a time. Maybe there is miracle to happen when I delayed them for killing people.

"Ha-ha!" The leader of terrorist group sarcastically laughing to him. He faced Mr. Oscar Howington and said in a serious tone. "Money? I need it but not from you."

"Then, what?"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In the front of his eyes, Mr. Oscar Howington was shocked by hearing those gunshots. Then his eyes widened when he saw his family's precious blood was flowing on the floor as they laid down one after one. He didn't expect these people to kill harshly his family without consideration. It was completely family massacre.

While Mr. Oscar having blank expression. The leader of terrorist group walked to him and whispered in his ears.

"Sorry kid, we're just given an order to kill you and your family. Do you have any last words?"

"Last...words?"

"Yes!"

"Why...should...I?"

"Because this is your last chance to see your beautiful world."

Mr. Oscar didn't know what to say as the only tears in his eyes could say what he really felt. For him, to continue his life was totally useless now. So, he lazily said, "Just...kill me."

Bang!

After the incident.

Mr. Oscar Howington was having a deep dream, his consciousness was flying all over the space. There are so many stars that flashes through his eyes and each of them had his own memories. Suddenly, there was a group of stars made him furious. Those stars are memories before he died. He saw his family were killed by terrorists while he was just standing there without moving. He was totally helpless at that time. He disgusted himself for not defending his family. He was totally regret to let himself die.

If Mr. Oscar Howington could only ask for another chance to get back, he will do everything to give justice for his family.
