2 Saiyan System

A small, intangible shape of a human was seen floating in the middle of never-ending darkness.

It soon went into a tunnel that was getting brighter and brighter while travelling through it. As the 'human' reached the end, it opened its eyes and looked straight into a pair of eyes. An old woman was holding a newborn baby and inspecting it.

"Sigh, what a pity. This kid was abandoned because he didn't have a spiritual root to cultivate immortality and can only walk the path of martial arts at best. Although it is strange, as it feels like this kid is born with intelligence." The old lady was sad for the baby because it had just been born yet it already faced the world's cruelty being abandoned by his parents.

'Where am I? Why is there a gigantic old granny close to my face? Why can't I move my body?' Caol was having a lot of difficulty comprehending the events happening around him. He was contemplating when suddenly...

*Ding*

"The host, Caol Gwynt, has activated the Saiyan System."

"Calibrating the host's soul into the new body..."

"Repairing and changing the body's genes into a replica of a Saiyan..."

'What the heck? What is happening? Saiyan System? Holy sh*t! For real though?' The unexpected surprise was a huge delight. As he was a normal young adult in his past life, he watched and read the Dragon Ball series and became engrossed in it. All the blood-boiling battles Goku had against his enemies and waiting for 5 episodes for him to just drop the spirit bomb, but hey that's what made the hype.

Whilst undergoing through the changes, the old lady spoke up, "My child, since you are no longer wanted by your own parents, I will take care of you. I just have some matters here in this place, but after I'm done, I will bring you to the sect." The granny took the baby inside and laid him on a soft cushion, forming hand seals as energy began to gather into a formation, which protected the baby and made sure that no one can touch him.

After seeing that everything was in place, she vanished rapidly from Caol's sight.

'It's weird as I can understand what she's saying but I know for a fact that granny over here is speaking in an entirely different language. Why is that?'

"It's because of the automatic spiritual translation provided by the system that host can understand the native people's tongue to make it easier for the host to gain information about this new world."

'Whoa, I never imagined that I can converse with you. So what is your purpose exactly? Why bring me here, giving me unimaginable benefits being a Saiyan?' Caol asked the system a question that has been bugging him since he woke up.

"As the host's death was an accident, the Heavens tried to compensate the host by reincarnation into another universe. You have been given a random system based on a popular fantasy in your previous world."

'So that's the case, then system, where am I?'

"Searching the database..."

"The host is currently in a place called Inferno City. It is a mid-sized city located inside the Alonian Empire of the Dragon Continent."

'Alright, so what's the deal with the 23 hours of waiting for my body being changed into a Saiyan one? Do I get to have a tail with it?' Caol was nervous about having a tail because it is kind of weird to see a human being with a tail while having it means that he will turn into a large ape that knows nothing except destroy everything.

"It is because the genetic structure of human beings here are different from your previous world as this world is a cultivating world. Humans of this world have a network of energy-channeling routes in the body called meridians. Some people have 'spiritual roots' which are the basis of immortal cultivation. As the host does not possess spiritual roots, a Saiyan body will help maximize the benefit of having meridians as you may have seen from reading or watching the series."

'That makes sense now. All I have to do is wait for a day. Now that I think of it, I am kind of drowsy. I guess I'll get some sleep then.'
