22 The Hero Sect, a Sect of true heroes

Arriving at the east gate, the 5 of them was stopped by the gatekeepers of the kingdoms

The east gate was a huge gate made of thick metallic bars. .

"Halt, present your identities." A mean looking guard said.

Mittle stepped down from Bob's arm, took out a disciple identification token of Sword Dance Sect.

"They are my friends." Mittle informed.

"An inner court disciple of Sword Dance Sect, it is the honor of the Kingdom to receive rare guest such as you madame and of course your friends as well." The mean looking guard laughed as he said, clearly showing how amicable he is, in the surface that is.

"Then I shall not obstruct your agenda. Please come in. OPEN THE GATES!" The guard instructed his subordinates.

Entering the huge kingdom, Saitama was somehow amazed at the medieval style of the kingdom unlike the modern earth of his.

He feels like he time travelled towards the medieval times that he can only see in movies back on earth.

"How about looking some inn here? Let us first settle this girl down." Saitama suggested as he glanced down at Maria that was snuggling in his chest.

The other nodded at his suggestion.

"Do we even have money though? We are dirt poor." Revant asked. Money didn't even come to his mind until this moment.

"I've spent all my money as a compensation in joining the team of my fellow disciples earlier." Mittle said sadly, still feeling the betrayal of her fellow disciples. Revant just patted her back, consoling her silently.

"I've got some." Bob laughed as he took out a brown pouch out from nowhere.

"Oooh how much is it? I want to eat a lot of meat as possible." Saitama haven't eaten yet since he came in this world so he's pretty hungry.

"I don't know? Maybe a lot?" Bob replied with a foolish expression on his face.

"You don't know how much money you have?" Saitama asked, bewildered. He started to think if this disciple of his has some screw loose on his head.

"Why would I know? It's not mine, I stole it from the guard earlier. I don't like his face" Bob shamelessly said with a nonchalant face.

"Wow, I never thought I would have a Bandit Master." Revant muttered, not knowing whether to cry or laugh at his Master actions.

Saitama just shook his head.

"Mittle, you are from this kingdom right? Know any place we can stay?" Saitama inquired Mittle.

Hearing Saitama, Mittle pondered for a bit.

"There is an inn near here called 'The Hero's Chamber'. Quite a flambouyant name but the place says otherwise. It is an inn belonging to the Hero Sect, also explains the reason why it looks like it might collapse." Mittle said.

'Hero Sect? Maybe I should visit them later on.' Upon thinking about it, Saitama decided to visit the place in the near future. Maybe it'll be a clue or hel get an enlightenment on how he will establish a Hero Association here.

"Let us go there then." Saitama said as he gestured Mittle to lead the way.

-----

Arriving in front of the 'The Hero's Chamber' it looks like a recently polished abandoned house.

Although there are still some grandiose furnitures inside the reception area, it looks totally out of place due to the Inn's dark and gloomy ambience. Although the lobby is huge, it lack a single soul except for one, the receptionist. A young handsome looking man, in a meditating position.

Upon hearing the sounds of customer entering, the young man opened his eyes and greeted them with enthusiasm

"A customer! It's been a month since we've had our last customer!" The young guy said with fervor.

"A month? That's unbelievable." Bob muttered, even if no matter how run down an inn is, there will always be a customer even if very poor, will check in. An inn is an inn, a place for travelers to stay, so it is bound there will be a two or three customer but to think that the last customer here was last month? Unbelievable indeed.

"What can we do? It is the choice of people if they want to come in or not." The young man can only force himself to smile.

Mittle, on the other hand was scrutinizing the young man in front of her, he was giving her a familiar sight like she already saw him before.

"Wait, aren't you the head disciple of the Hero Sect, Adel Termos? The direct disciple of the Hero Sect's Sect Master?" Mittle exclaimed. She was surprised that such important figure, a head disciple in a Sect was usually someone nearly as important and respectable as the Sect Master.

Yet such an important figure is staying in this run down inn, tending it.

"Indeed I am." Adel can only bitterly smile.

"And you're Mittle, an inner court disciple of the Sword Dance Sect. A pretty famous figure here in the kingdom, being an inner disciple in such a young age and also having a praiseworthy appearance." Adel added.

"I am Mittle, but as of now I don't know whose side I stand for. I don't have a good impression of Sword Dance Sect and might leave soon." Mittle said sadly, the actions to the 6 disciples in the recent event made her want to reevaluate the Sword Dance Sect as a whole. It's not just the 6 of them that have questionable attitudes but also the other disciples of the Sect, even some outer court disciples are overbearingly arrogant.

"Why is that?" Adel asked, raising his brows.

Mittle gave a short summary of the recent event.

Adel eyes furrowed even further when he heard a battle slave was ordered to risk her life to kill not a tier 2 beast but a tier 3 one.

Adel glanced towards Maria who was snuggling at Saitama's chest.

"She is the woman you are talking about? Although she was already healed, she still needs some proper rest. Come, as of now she is the top priority." Adel went out the counter and went to one of the rooms in the ground floor, it is to survey her conveniently and if ever she wakes up she wont need to use the stairs.

Saitama and the group followed Adel in to a large room with 5 other separating room in it. 5 bedrooms within a room.

Saitama laid down Maria in the bed gently, placing some strand of her hair covering her face plucking it behind her ears, Saitama then went out and sat down together with the others.

But then a group of people suddenly busted the door open. It was a group of 3 people, one carrying an unconscious wounded man in his back, one has a large gash in his chest and the last one has his arm broken.

"Senior Brother Adel, we saved this man from the surrounding forest about to be mauled by three tier 1 beast, luckily we just saved him in time. Please attend him, he is in critical state." Sait the guy with a gash on his chest, blood constantly flowing out but slowly.

Adel in the counter, has his face contorted as he quickly grabbed a bag of medicinal herbs.

"Quick, spread a blanket on the floor and lay the man down." Adel dashed with great speed towards the victim.

After doing what they were told by Adel, the latter started attending the victim, using the medicinal herbs to treat it's external wounds.

The other 3 also began healing themselves up, gritting their teeth in pain but not on complaint or scream of pain came out.

Although they said that the victim was in criticla state, the 3 were far more in critical state.

Saitama and the others just watched. Mittle was feeling uncomfortable, Revant was also feeling sympathetic towards the three of them and Bob was moved a little by the three's selfless act.

"Done. This man only needed some rest to be healed mayne a few months to be back in his complete state." After a few minutes, Adel was done and wiped the sweat in his brows.

"And now, you three. Although David's gash in his chest is deep, it is still curable and will be healed in a few months time." Adel said.

Then Adel glanced at the man with broken arm.

"This-*sigh*, Welson, your arm-" Adel can only sigh in sadness, he's been healing a lot of wounded people in the past, one glance at Welson's broken arm and he can already tell its crippled for life.

"Haha, no worries Senior, although this arm will be crippled, I still have the other arm right? I can still save more people." Welson smiled brightly, as if the though of having a crippled arm didn't affect him at all.

Adel saw through his act, Welson is a cultivator, he loves cultivating, he love to be powerful just to save people. He knew how big of an impact is the crippled arm of Welson towards himself.

"I'll tell Master himself to temporarily cease all your activites, give you half a year of rest, and until then you can decided if you want to continue or not." Adel was saying to let Welson rest, a cripple arm will afect him for life and he want to let Welson slowly accept the tragedy of a crippled arm.

Although Welson was truly devastated in having a crippled arm, he was more horrified of the Sect grounding him, preventing him from saving more people that needs help.

"No Senior Brother, please don't tell Sect Master. Look I can still use my other arm see? Please dont let me stop saving, please." Everyone can see the desperation in Welson's eyes.

Everyone, including the group of Saitama became solemn at the sight.

"Look, that is a Hero." Saitama lowly muttered. No one except Bob heard it.

The Hero Sect didn't know, they receive the respects of an expert, the respect of a Martial Immortal.
