3 Chapter 3: The Supreme Kai

"You seem quite different," Saitama nonchalantly twitched his nose and smirked.

An infuriated Krillin retorted, "Asshole, that was before! I've got hair now!"

Saitama shrugged, remarking, "Alright then, you Earthling with nostrils."

Krillin couldn't contain his anger any longer and shouted, "Ba Ga!" in frustration.

He clenched his fists, vowing, "Baldy, I'm stronger than you. Are you ready? My next move will be my most powerful."

Saitama yawned in boredom and waved him on, saying, "Come on, I'm sleepy."

Krillin was never this furious. He found Saitama's bald head utterly repulsive. So, without hesitation, he unleashed his most potent attack.

"Kamehameha~~~!"

A dazzling ball of light appeared in Krillin's hand, rapidly expanding. The intense light forced the audience to squint their eyes.

"Gong~~~"

A colossal beam of light erupted from Krillin's hand, hurtling directly toward Saitama.

Rumble!

The mighty Kamehameha bombarded Saitama, instantly transforming the arena into a massive crater. The overwhelming destructive power left everyone in awe.

This level of destruction was a testament to Krillin's skill in controlling his power; otherwise, the entire arena would have been obliterated in an instant.

"Hmph, I've won!" Krillin declared confidently, standing tall and keeping a close eye on Saitama's position.

Everyone expected Saitama to be lying incapacitated on the ground at this point.

Or so they thought.

As the dust settled, a shocking sight unfolded before them. Saitama, the bald-headed warrior, stood there unscathed. Not a scratch on him, just a little dust on his face and some stains on his clothes.

"How... is this possible?" Cold sweat streamed down Krillin's forehead.

"This guy..." Vegeta, his arms folded and expression stern, also seemed taken aback.

"Who is he, and what's his background? This isn't going to be easy," Piccolo mused, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead as well.

"Wow, he's amazing! Even Krillin couldn't beat him. I can't wait to fight him!" Goku exclaimed, excited by Saitama's power.

In the arena, Saitama finally spoke with a smile, his gaze fixed on the bewildered Krillin. "It's my turn. Are you ready?"

And with that, Saitama finally moved.

He took two steps forward and casually delivered a punch to Krillin. It might not have the raw power of a Kamehameha, but it was an unstoppable force. The punch connected squarely with Krillin's chest, producing a resounding thud.

Krillin was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing through several arena walls before coming to a halt.

Was it over? Just one punch and it was over?

After a long pause, the announcer regained his composure. "I declare the winner: Saitama!"

The crowd erupted into cheers, but Goku and the others rushed to the wreckage, helping the bruised and battered Krillin to his feet.

Struggling to stand, Krillin rubbed his chest and looked at Saitama on the stage. "He's so strong... I've never seen a human this powerful. My attacks were completely ineffective against him."

The expressions of everyone grew serious, and they all sensed it without Krillin having to say it.

Piccolo nodded and added, "I was surprised from the beginning. Normally, fighters have some level of ki, but this guy seems to have none, yet he can knock you out with a single punch. It defies all logic."

Android 18 chimed in, "So, this human named Saitama is really strong? But I can't wrap my head around it. How can an ordinary human be stronger than Piccolo?"

Krillin said, "And I can sense that he hasn't even exerted his full strength yet."

Vegeta, still skeptical, declared, "No one can surpass a noble Saiyan! Even if he defeated Krillin, he's no match for me!"

No one dared to doubt Vegeta's words. Krillin was undoubtedly powerful, but compared to Vegeta, he existed in an entirely different league. Goku, who was even stronger than Vegeta, was also in the mix. Regardless of the outcome, the true champion would come from among them.

However, Saitama defeating Krillin with ease didn't necessarily mean he could challenge a Saiyan.

On the other side of the arena, Goku and his companions weren't the only ones paying attention to Saitama. Supreme Kai and his servant Kibito were also observing closely. Supreme Kai had come to Earth to prevent Babidi from resurrecting Majin Buu, and this required identifying someone with immense ki before Babidi could harness it.

Majin Buu, who had wrought destruction on thousands of galaxies 50 million years ago, could not be allowed to return. The consequences would be catastrophic.

Saitama stepped down from the ring and approached Supreme Kai. Kibito asked, "Is this the person, Master Supreme Kai?"

Supreme Kai stared at Saitama for a long while before concluding, "Absolutely not. By all appearances, this guy is just an ordinary lower-worlder."

Kibito inquired, "Then who could it be?"
