Beyond the Portal

Bradshaw made his way to the office by navigating through a complicated series of doors under the dimly lit blue candles.

The ghost stopped in front of a heavy looking dark elm door. "Praise to the lord." He said to the door with the gorgon head. A set of mechanism clicked, and the sound of heavy metal was heard unravelling behind the door. The hinges creaked as the door opened, revealing the room behind it.

There was nothing in the room except a shimmering portal in the middle of it. Bradshaw stood at door entrance and tossed the "book" into the room. The "book" floated into the portal, disappearing without a trace. The gorgon eyes glowed a malicious red as the door closes. A click sound can be heard through the echos of the lonely doorway as the room activated the locks.

"Okay, done!" The ghost give himself a satisfying clap. He readjusted his bowtie and uniform before striding into the wall and vanished without a trace. The empty corridor was left with deafening silence.

The "inventory" book entered the portal, floating in mid air. Beyond the portal was a scene bursting with life! Blue luminous moss and numerous 10 centimetres light orbs filled the space, some on the ground and some above. Rare stones glisten under the glow of the moss and glimmer when shone. Luscious herbs and poisonous plants grew in unison, wild but fashionably landscaped. Rare insects and animals were seen lazing along the banks of the rivers leading to a upside down waterfall. The waterfall flowed upwards and formed an artificial sky lined with beautiful night stars. A few shooting stars streak across the artificial sky and landed into the river as a school of colourful fishes.

Cupboards full of books, jars and cases were randomly placed in a seemingly disordered manner.

A golden light shrouded the "book" and gently guided it to a grassy area. Lutini immediately recognised it! It was the same grass it had fed on when it was still young.

Small beady eyes peered out between the grass, ready to greet the new resident. At this time, Lutini was incredibly famished.
