4 Chapter 4: Could He Be a God?"

"Wait a minute, you mysterious fellow. On what grounds do you come forward with questions? We don't even know who you are. Hasn't anyone told you that when asking others, you should introduce yourself first?" Marco, the captain of the First Division of the Whitebeard Pirates, immediately spoke up.

However, right after Marco finished speaking, he suddenly felt an intense chill behind him. In the next instant, he crashed onto the deck with a loud thud, feeling as if every bone in his body had been shattered.

If it weren't for his ability as a Phoenix Fruit user, he would probably have died.

This sudden turn of events caught everyone off guard. The members of the Whitebeard Pirates all exclaimed in surprise as they looked at Marco, while Whitebeard swiftly unsheathed his sword, Murakumogiri, and glared at the image with an angry expression.

He turned his head towards Marco and asked, "Marco, how are you?"

"Cough... Dad, I'm fine. I can't die that easily," Marco replied, coughing up blood but managing to force a smile.

Seeing that Marco was unharmed and aware of his son's regenerative abilities, Whitebeard turned his head warily towards the unexpected intruder.

He still hadn't detected the presence of the enemy. He could sense that there was no one in the immediate area in front of him. The image on the screen was likely just an illusion, and there seemed to be no invaders nearby.

Yet, Marco had been severely injured right in front of his eyes without him noticing, which left him shocked.

Where was the enemy?

"Who are you?" Whitebeard roared in a deep voice. How dare someone harm his son. It was unforgivable.

The man in the image, however, did not respond to Whitebeard's words. He continued on his own, saying:

"In the question and answer phase, interruptions are prohibited.

First warning, second obliteration.

Understood?"

As he spoke, the man in the image casually scratched his ear, as if to say, "Did you all hear me clearly?"

Such an attitude from the mysterious man couldn't help but anger the members of the Whitebeard Pirates. They glared at the mysterious man in the image, furious.

But just as they were about to say something, Marco, who had been knocked down, crawled back up and reached out to stop them.

He could sense that what the man said was true. The power that had just been displayed might really have been able to kill him.

If even someone like himself, an immortal Phoenix Fruit user, could be killed, then it would be even more dangerous for others.

After observing Marco's expression, Whitebeard also suppressed his anger. He didn't speak but turned his head to look at the mysterious man in the image.

He himself wasn't afraid of death, but behind him were his sons. He could sense that if the man really made a move to obliterate them, he might not be able to protect them.

For their sake, Whitebeard could only endure.

Satisfied with the submissive attitude of Whitebeard and his crew, the mysterious man snapped his fingers and then said:

"Question: Why did Admiral Sengoku publicly execute Portgas D. Ace, the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, at Marine Headquarters?"

Furthermore, when you answer, remember to add the word "Answer" at the beginning. You have one minute to discuss the answer. The timer starts now."

Public execution?!!!

Upon hearing this question, the members of the Whitebeard Pirates were instantly puzzled.

What kind of question was this?

When were their brothers Ace publicly executed by Admiral Sengoku?

These pirates were known for their lawlessness and recklessness, and someone was about to speak up and accuse the man in front of them of talking nonsense.

But someone next to them covered their mouth before they could say anything.

Whitebeard, Marco, and Ace exchanged glances.

Ace shook his head. "I haven't experienced anything like that, and I don't know what he means by a public execution."

Marco covered his wound and took a deep breath. His injuries hadn't fully healed yet, and he analyzed, "If it hasn't happened before, why would that guy say such a thing? But that guy doesn't seem to be mocking us, and there's no reason for him to do so."

After experiencing the severe injury earlier, Marco understood that if the enemy truly wanted to kill them, they wouldn't stand a chance. It was the first time he had seen such a serious and vigilant expression on his father's face.

Even if the enemy was toying with them, they wouldn't use something so absurd to do so.

Unless...

"Unless what he said isn't about something that happened in the past but something that will happen in the future!" Marco said with a serious expression.

Marco's words immediately sent chills down the spines of the members of the Whitebeard Pirates.

Something that will happen in the future?!

How could that be?!

To clearly predict what would happen in the future, only a god could do that, right?

It wasn't the first time they had heard about predictions of the future. In fact, they had heard about it long ago on Fish-Man Island.

There was a mermaid named Shirahoshi who could see glimpses of the future through divination.

But she could only see vague fragments of the future and couldn't determine what exactly would happen.

No one could accurately and specifically predict what would happen in the future.

However, this mysterious person in front of them knew the time, the people involved, and the reason behind it. This was something that a mere human couldn't possibly do.

Could this guy be a god?
