2 Chapter 2: The Shared History of the Lycanthrope and Vampyr

Long ago two princes, Dagad and Ashur, both twin brothers of the royal house of Venus in Mesopotamia fought over power to be the next ruler. The moon and sun goddess were constantly at war with the dark god. The outcast and keeper of the shadow realm. The god of Venus bestowed healthy children and ordained the brothers ancestors as Royalty on Earth. Shamash, the sun goddess, Sin, the moon goddess, and Ishtar, the goddess of Venus, were part of an astral triad of divinities that bestowed gifts on their royal offspring of earth.

The triad of goddesses mated with male humans and gave birth to demi-god celestial children. As those children could not return to the Astral realm of the gods, after being born, they remained on earth. Each goddess bestowed the children with celestial gifts and appointed human conjure women priestess as their mothers. The Astral triad had bestowed eternal life and eternal health on the royals. They were immortal.

The princes, being of royal blood were also born with these gifts. Unfortunately due to their lust for power, they sought out the dark prince deep underground. They ventured to the veil of the shadow realm. Once they passed the face threshold, they were under his spell. He tricked them and pitted them against each other. He darkened their minds with delicious power. They were corrupted by their nievity. They did not realize how they betrayed the gods gifts, honor, and their celestial blood. The god of darkness gave them both dark gifts of strength and heightened senses, but their lust drove them to want more power than the gods. Knowing they might soon snap out of the dark princes spell, he brought up his minion slaves. Arali a beautiful wolf-demon and Zababa, a bat-demon; both a corruption of nature he frequently took pleasure in doing, to be the wives of these princes.

Still under thespell, and not seeing the parallel path, that was clouded by darkness, and unknowing of the others presences, the brothers were led into a celebration of their marriages. Once married, they were given food and drink that made them hallucinate in Ecstasy. Thinking it was their wedding night, one was bit by a Zababa the bat demon and one was bit by Arali a wolf-demon. They turned out to be tricks. All a rouse to hurt the gods. The brothers awakening from the spell writhed in pain, their bones shifted, and convulsed under this bite of their new wives. The poison in their blood cursing the gifts from their beloved mother goddesses. They contorted into the Lycanthrope and Vampyr. These beast forms were uncontrollable. The dark prince unleashed them back to Earth to punish the gods. This caused the massacre of the empire and all humans in that land to perish. The fall of Mesopotamia. The brothers killed their family with their insatiable lust for blood and power. Unknowing and forever in the subconscious of the beasts.

They were uncontrollable in this corrupted form and constantly fighting wars. Unfortunately their blood was forever tainted. The sun and moon goddesses loved their offspring and felt bad for them. The celestial triad decided to chain the brothers with mortality in the sun and immortality in the moon. The Werewolf and vampire were born. Promising never to get too powerful, or they would grow too dark and be claimed by the dark god, and dragged down to Kur, the underworld. A shadow realm of contorted creatures, all slaves and minions to the dark prince. Their wives were taken from them and live as slaves to the Dark Prince.

The gods banished Dagad and Ashur out of their fertile utopia and smashed it into the dirt as a desert and wasteland. The brothers fled into Asia and Europe. Week and on their own, but still somewhat corrupted. The Lycan can only exist with royal blood, Passed down by Dagad the Lycanthrope turned Lycan. Mortal but with longevity. They still possessed the blood of the gods. Stronger than 1000 men, but a slave to the moons cycle, as punishment from the moon goddess. The Vampyr Ashur, was turned to the Vampire. They are immortal and only find mates by breeding and marking humans during the dark moon equinox. They are weakened by the sun and most end up petrifying to stone due to lack of resolve for immortality. They are still considered mortal by the gods, because they can procreate and wither to ashes and become only a whisper on the wind. The goddess of Venus cursed her only remaining earthly children to be bound to the earthly priestess blessing and mating process of the moon and sun cycle. This kept their corruption in balance.
