To Abyss Battlefield

Midnight.

Not long after Leroy logged out, the door of his room opened.

Leroy, who was drinking whiskey on his couch while looking outside through the windows said "Come" without turning his head.

A figure approached him and sat on the couch. Wearing light, translucent clothes, Felicity rested her head on his shoulder.

"I saw you disconnected from the game" Felicity said with a blush.

"I did, I wonder why have you come here like this" Leroy looked at her in the eyes as he said. Her face turned completely red as Leroy smiled.

He left the glass of whiskey on a table and put both hands on her shoulders.

When she realized, her cloths fell and she was pushed down by him.

Leroy looked down on her gorgeous body until their starry eyes met.

Morning.

Leroy and Felicity walked out from the elevator, arriving at the team building's first floor.

It was a common area for the team members, sometimes they would gather here to eat and drink.

As most people prefered quick food, Leroy put robots on the kitchen. Places that still used human chefs were quite rare.

He didn't mind if it was human or machine so long the food tasted well.

As Felicity choose a table, they noticed that at a table near the windows, Wonder was drinking coffe with peaceful expression.

Wonder was actually a very calm guy, he wasn't really the type to speak much, specially in the morning. It really made one wonder what happens in the game that makes him such an aggressive type of player.

Leroy and Felicity ordered breakfast to the AI robot and just at a moment, it was prepared and served.

Not long after, a few other people started entering the first floor.

Trafford and Katakuri has just ended their training and got to eat.

Trafford trained daily. Katakuri, even as lazy as he was, also started to train daily, he also has his own ego and being at a lower refinement realm than others made him very upset.

Now that everyone had access to rank A and S nutrients, all they had to do is train, wheter it was in real life or in God's Domain.

Katakuri sat at the closest table along with Trafford.

They looked over at Leroy and Felicity and nodded, Leroy and her also nodded.

Morning was really a peaceful time in this floor.

After finishing breakfast, they would go back to their room and enter the game.

Leroy was expecting to see how many members has Robb and Olympus recruited.

Black Dragon City.

After the war, thousands of players tried to enter the Dream Chaser Team.

Most of those that managed to enter inmediatly signed the contract.

They were surprised to find that the contract almost made no mention of Zero Wing.

Even if they entered the team and then the guild, they were members of Dream Chaser Team. They would only follow instructions of the upper echelon of the Dream Chaser team.

The team has now recruited 2,500 people and more people were waiting.

It was impossible for Olympus and Robb to recruit so much people, they assigned the most experienced new members that signed thr contract to test other players.

"I already reached the sixth floor after trying all night, I hope I can enter the team"

"Me too, I hope they give me more status as I have a hidden class"

"I'll be happy just being part of the Grim Reaper's team"

Players discussed while waiting. Most of them had arrived to join the team of the second ranked player, titled Grim Reaper Sensations.

The Secret Pavilion wouldn't give the second rank position just because of the war, they definetly knew something that others didn't.

However, the pavilion refused to share eny information even with Super Guilds.

The only person above him was the titled as Dragon Paragon, that person has even killed the Phoenix-Dragon Pavilion Master recently.

However, he wasn't affiliated to any guild or team.

As the member count increased, they had to just focus on clearing dungeons. This attracted many players that didn't like pvp.

For a few days, Leroy has focused on clering dungeons along the entire Dream Chaser team.

The team has grown to have 8,000 people as of now, clearing a dungeon two to three times each, the gathered resources growed quickly.

Leroy spent many days clearing the hell mode of the Underwater Grotto over and over again.

The competition between guilds has long since passed from first clears to trade.

But now, the Dream Chaser team has begin to clear one dungeon after the other, the situation was something that started putting pressure on other guilds.

Still, the competition was enterely focused on obtaining the first clear on a super-large-scale team dungeon.

Only at level 50 would that dungeon open.

Leroy then collected all the materials he required and stopped helping with the dungeons.

This made many members sigh, this were so smooth with him around...

On the other hand, Leroy spent his days creating a new spell.

The final boss on the Underwater Grotto was a turtle.

Even with Leroy participating, it took them quite the time to defeat that Grand Lord.

That was of course because he didn't summon the twilight knights.

There was an ability that Leroy was after, that turtle could change it's size.

From a five meter tall turtle to a half a meter boss. But most important it's attributes didn't decrease at all.

It was really hard to hit it when it shrinked in size. It's defense were at the top of it's rank.

More days passed until a team discovered and cleared new dungeons.

However none of them caught Leroy's attention.

For efficiency's sake, the core members separated into different teams while clearing dungeons, they would cooperate on the same teams from time to time, but not as often.

"Team leader, there is news about a new event taking place. There seems to be a place called Abyss Battlefield, players has to enter through the War God Temple. Players have no penalty for dying there but they only have one life there. There are a lot of strong bosses in the towns and cities that the abyss creatures has captured. The rewards are good too" A team member reported as they waited before killing the last boss of the dungeon.

Apparently, one could even obtain exp potions on that place this made main the independent players go crazy.

But the thing that made everyone crazy was the drop of the Abyss Set.

The drop rates were really low but it was a Dark Gold eight pieces set of equipment, furthermore it was a Tier 1 equipment.

It was suited for pvp and even had berserk skills.

Leroy heard the report as the battle went on, they have cleared this dungeon a few times already.

As a tall demon covered in flames fell, he sent messages to everyone on the team, telling them to go to the Abyss Battlefield if they wanted to.

He would go too.

At this time, the system sent him a notification.

System: Unknown Egg has absorbed the required lifeforce to hatch.

He took out the egg and it started cracking, a creature came out and he inmediatly received a mount.

However he was incapable of using it as it just got out of it's egg.

"This is... a snake?" Leroy looked at the mount and didn't know what to say, he has expected something like a wolf, tiger, maybe even a dog... but a snake?

He wasn't disappointed but there was a bitter feeling om his mouth.

The snake had dark hexagonal scales covering it's four meters long body.

With yellow eyes, it stared at Leroy.

"I guess I need to feed you for a while" Leroy daid and took out some meat, it as nornal for monsters to drop some as it could be used for cooking.

The snake looked at the meat and took a small bite but didn't eat anymore than that. It looked at Leroy as if it was displeased.

Leroy's eyebrow twitched.

The snake appearence triggered some discussions among the players who had never seen a mount so far.

"Let's go" After a while of chatting and hearing suggestions, he exited the dungeon.

Now he had even more reasons to visit the Abyss Battlefield.

If the team suspicions were right the snake will have to eat recently killed monsters, the higher the rank, the fastest it would grow.

The Abyss Battlefield had many strong bosses and good rewards like reputation with War God Temple which could unlock better items for exchange at the place.

"We are all here" Olympus said.

Robb, Mark, Aeden, Wonder, Katakuri, Kaydara and Trafford arrived along with him at the entrance of the War God Temple.

"Alright, let's go" Leroy said and the team moved.

After a moments, they were teleported.

They arrived at the human camp, it was flooded with independant players that mostly seeked the exp potion.

The monsters gave a lot of experience and dropped useful items but their drop rate for the Abyss Set was too low.

Currently, guilds that captured a town after a lot of effort has obtained one or two pieces from the final boss.

"Where should we go then?" Olympus said.

"To capture a city of course" Leroy said and everyone nodded.
