Chapter 8:No pain,No gain!!!

'Alesch alva nider' is a hardworking student of colos schools 102th batch.

Nider is 5 foot tall. He is slim, he has blue hair,dark eyes. A round monocle in right eye. He was wearing black hat in head,a white shirt and a black pants.

At the age of 7, he passed his mana tip-off. He clearly remember that important moment when he first faced his mana tip-off. He was playing hide and seek with his few friends. When he was hiding behind an old trees trunk, he suddenly started to feel a little strange all over his body.He thought it was all normal, so he continued to play the game.

Soon a severe pain caused him to scream. He started to feel that a strange green particles leave from his body and the old trees dead dark leafs started to become green and also the tree itself seems to be a little younger than a moment ago. He soon lost consciousness.

When he wake up, he found himself laying in his own bed. And the room was full of people and his mom and dad were sited in his bed. When they saw he woken up, they give him a glass of juice. He saw his mom and dad happy expression in their faces. One by one, all the neighbours congratulate him for his successful mana tip-off period. He learned from them that, he might be a wood or related type of a mana blessed. Mostly people faces water,fire,earth and air mana tip-off, so wood type is rarer than those four common type ones.

He has 3 brothers and 2 sister, among them he is the only one to face mana tip-off. His parents have a high hope of him, that one day he will become a mage.

His father has a few shops in colos city.Their family's financial situation is pretty much good, so they can afford to let him study in colos school.After finishing 3 year student life, they will be sent to magi continent to start their magi path.There are 2 more schools in colos city. But their study condition is very bad compared with the colos school. All parents naturally wants their child to study in a good school.All of colos city's and its surroundings elites send their child in there. So it is a great opportunity to get mix with them and make some friend and connections.

Nider saw how his family was so enthusiastic about his awakening. He clenched his fist and pledged that he will live up to their expectations.

Since joining colos school, he worked hard.His goal was to be the first in his entire class. After 2 and half years of ardous study,he is number 1 in his class 3A.

In Hartage kingdom education system,Class 1 -3 study material is very facile.In first year they only teach alphabets,simple maths sum,minus,divide and multiplier,and drawing of apple,banana, orange, fish etc.All the way to the 3rd class,they are only tought writing, day to day life useful mathematics,history about this kingdom and its surroundings(all full of lies),art etc.

If we look at exams question papers, you can found that 80 percent from their curriculum books. Sometimes, 50 percent question material come from their books, rest are from outside of the books.

Why they do this? simple! they want students to gain out of the books knowledge, if they want to secure high points in the exams!

Nider would always spend 3-4 hour of night at library before going to bed. Of course as a brilliant student, teacher loves him very much and admires his firm determination to seek knowledge. So,they often give him hints and points to what to read and what not! Today his art teacher give him a hint that a certain previous kings facial or full body drawing may be asked to draw in their next class exam.For this reason, he is in the library since he finished his launch! He only took a small break during dinner.

The task is not easy! There are more than 100s of kings who have already bitten the dust.He only finished practice 5 past most successful kings full body drawing since he started. He can not miss a single minor detail, so that he can score perfect 10/10 in the art class exam!Even though class exams results have no effect in the final exam. He still don't want to neglect this exam. If he score highest in each and every exam,he will be praised by the teacher and they will continue to have a great expectations from him. It also give other competitors a massage that he is still the best amongst them! Like no tyrants want to see other rise to power, he also don't wanna see other student steal his crown as a first among the thousands of students.

Today, librarian Hess is not present for sudden illness like yesterday. If he were present, nider didn't have to pay 1silver/hour to that greedy security guard. Librarian Hess likes nider enthusiasms about knowledge seeking. So he will warn the security guard of the library not to force me for any money. But, since yesterday, he have to pay money to that security guard for every hour.

Thinking this, nider heart couldn't help but bleeding in pain. He's parent can only afford to give him 15 gold coins every month as pocket money . He have to buy study materials from this money. But seeing this money being spend in the library makes him disheartened,as he didn't have to pay the day before yesterday!

He has a small circles of 10 dedicated student friend who will always follow him and help each others in study. This group is also known as ' bookworms ' group to the school.All them are from class 3A.

Today, they are busy practicing previous kings pictures.They were taking Every single minor details into careful consideration and quietly practicing.

Like Nider and his friends, the library was full packed with diligent students of the colos school.

Aetius arrival didn't attracted much attention. It is quite normal for students like Aetius to come in the library, who have no interests in the academics but forced because of upcoming exam!At best they give him a look for a second then keep continuing their own work. It can't be helped, every hour they waste time in library, they have to pay 1 silver coins. Though it is a very small amount of money, but in the end of the month it become a good amount!They are just students who receive a little pocket money from their families.So no one pay much attention to this newly arrived fellow.

Unfortunately for them,they were 'forced ' to give attention to this newcomer.Because he would pick books and quickly flip them over and go on to another one! He is been doing that since last 2 hours in this library and showing no sign of stopping!

In this big library, The day to day normal sound is walking,murmur and students quarreling with the security guard. But today another sound was added, it was rapid book page flipping sound.

Nider,who was immerged into drawing also can't help but being surprise at this 'peculiar ' situation. A friend of him murmur in his ear, "Hey nider,did that lovesick fool looking for something in the books?"

Another one said, "i think he is searching for a way to seduce celine!"

Hearing this, sorrounding peoples couldn't help but laugh in low voice.

Aetius mad love for Celine is known amongst all of the class 3 students and teachers.

Aetius undoubtedly a daily necessary ingredients in their gossips and talks.They laugh how he was beaten by class 3C's students many times but still go after celine again and again for the past 3 years!

Nider replied with a sneer , "If librarian Hess were to be present, he would be kicked out of the library by now. "

A friend of Nider couldn't help but say,

" I think he has taken a part time job here for cleaning books dust and seeing if they are missing any pages ! "

"No, I am sure he is looking for a way to make love potion,wanna bet?"

"okay 1 bronze bet, he is not looking for love potion formula. "

Nider's friends started to bet against each other. Nider however, wasn't interested in the betting and keep drawing the his picture. He looked at the big wall clock, it is now 8.34 PM.

Oblivious that his book saving mission attracted a lot of discussions in the library. He keep picking up books one by one and saving them into his brain.

He is feeling pain in his fingers for continuous flipping of the book pages.But he encouraged himself thinking of a motto,

"No pain, No gain."

But why this library seemed to become a little lively lately?
