1 chapter 1 : The Beginning

"Smack"

The moment i opened my eyes, i was slapped in my left cheek.

I was shocked in disbelief. Why would anyone slap me of no reasons. Without mom, no one ever slapped me for no reasons.

As if i was in a half dream, half awaken state, i couldn't react the way my brain wanted to.

The situation quite similar as if you were taking a quick afternoon nap in your house and suddenly someone started knocking your door.You can clearly feel as if you opened it in respone to hearing the knocks.But in reality, you were still sleeping and that poor guy keep knocking the door.

Right now, I was watching myself arguing with a girl. She seems to be annoyed by my behaviour and slapped me.Seeing her attitude, i wanted to go away from her, but my body won't listen to me and keep saying something to that girl. I don't know her nor the peoples that gathered around me, who were enjoying the show and strangely my body was not in my control at all.

I was steeling myself thinking that it must be all dream. If not,how can i explain this situation? surrounded by unknown place, among unknown peoples. More importantly, This body was not mine. I am a men in my late twenties. But this body is another persons and its in teenage years. Maybe 13 or 14, I don't know.

Ironically, it doesn't seem to be a normal dream but reality...!

I can clearly feel pain in my left cheeks and strangely i was also feeling pain in my heart for something too.

The girl in front of me seems to be around 12 or 13 years old. She was wearing western medieval uniforms.Her skins were like precious white jade and gives off a vive of youthfulness,red hair, ruby like eyes, slender legs. She must be a dream girl of many boys in this school.

When i was observing my surrounding, suddenly 5-6 boys came close to me.One of the boy go to the women and started talking with her, as if a hero come to rescue his Princess . I couldn't understand what language they were talking but looking that girls gestures, i understood that she must be complaining to them against me!

Looking at these boys, they seem to be a year or two older than me. They seemed to be quit annoyed after hearing that girls words and approach me as if they would Pierce me into shreds. My instinct was screaming me to run away from here. But i have no control over this damning body at all.

They starts beating me in groud ruthlessly. I was feeling sever pain all over my body.I was screaming my lungs out and crying endlessly. Amidst this, I saw a croud of people watching from sidelines. None of them approaching to save me even that girl too. She was standing in the centers of mob and watching me being beat with a sneer in her face.

After 10 minutes of harsh beating season,they finally grew tired and let me take breath.I am seriously feeling that i am about to die for sure. My school uniform covered in dust and blood. i was lying in their taking breathes silently so to not to attract these people to start to beat me again. I was feeling shame,disgust, hopeless and despair. I didn't have an ounce of strength left in my body.Then one of the boy crouched down and gripped my hair with his palm and brought my head to mid air told me,

"We beat you like a dog 4 time since the start of this year at this school! Everytime we beat you will stay away for a few days and starts to harasse celine again.She does doesn't like you, Don't you get it? Today we will put your nuisance to an end. we will kill you today if you do not take a oath in the name of the sacred eternal flame that you will stop loving her and have no feelings for her from now on. Or eles we will kill you for good. "

Another boy who seems to be very handsome also came close to me and said,

"You orphan scum,you think we can't kill you inside the school? Hahahaha even if we kill you, we won't face any charges as our family's are not something this school can afford to anger. At best we have to pay some money. Thats all.That's what a parentless bugs like yours life amounts to."

The boy who was holding my hair started to talk again,

" Now enough bullshit. Crawl to celine like a mere bug and tell her that you take the vow to not to love her anymore."

I wanted to escape from this predicament at all cost. Slowly, i started understand there talks and they wanted me crawl to that b##ch and swear an oath.

I have already faced enough humiliations today,so i wanted to escape at all means. Disregarding the resistances in this body, i slowly started to get close to that vicious women. Every inch i make progress to those feet, i was burning with shame. I swear i will take my revenge. But now is not the time.

I need to understand my situation first clearly before making any stupid mistake.

I have already died once, so i know how painful this experience really is. During the moment I was beaten harshly, i also noticed few teacher like figure approach but when they got closer and saw me they didn't say anything to these bastards and silently walked away.

So, i understood that I am in a grave danger that can really lead me to grave for good.

When i was making my progress, it seem to me like eternity. They said true, 'good times run like a cheetah, but bad times run as if a tortoises. '

Finally i reached her shoes and repeat what those boys told me,

"i swear in the honor of sacred eternal flame, from this moment, i will not love you anymore."

As soon as i say that,there was an uproar in the crowd. Some started to chat,

" He swear in the name of sacred eternal flame, if he doesn't follow it, he can never be a mage, he will die instantly !!!!! "

"Ha ha ha, His life is finished, how can a men suddenly stop loving someone all of a sudden. If he have a ounce feeling left, he will be doomed to face mana backlash. "

"Hmph, serves him right, even though he is only a mortal human, he wanted to seduce highly talented celine. Our teacher said that she has a higher chances of becoming a water path magi .Compared to her he is just nothing."

I was hearing each and every one of these harsh remarks, but i was staring at that women, hoping she would show mercy.

She looked at me as if a insignificant creature and started to say harshly,

"Remember todays lesson and abide by it.You already vowed in the name of sacred eternal flame.So if you do not follow this oath your lowly life will end here."

Saying that she stared at me for a moment and left with other boys.

Seeing them leave, i breathed a sigh of relief. Unknowingly I have fallen asleep on the ground.
