12 Chapter Eleven

When Caroline got home, she went to her room and drew herself saving Raphael. She hung the drawing on the wall and happy sighed. She went to bed and slept well. She woke up the next morning. She went downstairs and saw Ms. Andersen. She ate pancakes and sausage and decided to take a walk to Cass's house to share the news. Caroline knocked on the door. Cass opened and sighed. "What do you want?" She asked. "I have really good news to share to you", said Caroline. Cass sighed. "Hey, remember when you said we should accept our fates? You know I'm pissed right now", said Cass. "Listen, I was upset and when I'm upset I say stuff I don't mean", said Caroline. Cass blushed. "Well, what did you want?" Asked Cass. "I learned powers", said Caroline. She took out a can and crushed it with her mind. "Any witch could do that", scoffed Cass. "Are you sure?" Asked Caroline. She turned a witted flower into a beautiful flower and smiled. "Where are you getting these lessons?" Asked Cass. "My foster mom taught me how to crush a soda can and surprisingly I can heal things too", said Caroline.

"That means you can heal your brother and maybe cure his illness", said Cass. Caroline sighed. "I have to battle with my ancestor in order to cure him", said Caroline. Cass picked up a book with her mind. "Let's get to training then", said Cass. "Um actually my foster mother is training me. Sorry", said Caroline. Cass blushed. "Oh shoot. Well want to go to the skating rink?" Asked Cass. "Sure. I don't train until an hour before the sun goes down", said Caroline. Cass and Caroline walked to the skating rink. They skated and laughed. "Sorry I haven't skated in like um ten years", said Caroline. "It's fine", said Cass. Caroline fell but laughed. Cass helped Caroline get up. "Are you okay?" Asked Cass. Caroline nodded. Caroline saw a scrape on her leg. She used her powers to heal her scrape. "It's no big deal", said Caroline. She got up and took off her roller skates. She walked to her house and went in. Theodore was playing in the living room. "Hey Theodore, do you know where Ms. Andersen is?" Asked Caroline. "She's at the hospital, querida", answered the woman who was making tamales in the kitchen. Caroline sighed and sat on the couch. "Are you her other foster kid? She has about two and one of them are in the hospital. I'm her son's girlfriend by the way. I'm watching him. My name is Josefa", said the woman.

"Yes I'm her foster kid. My name is Caroline. Nice to meet you", said Caroline. Josefa smiled and gave Theodore a tamale. "Querida, would you like a tamale?" Asked Josefa. "Oh sure. I never had one but I'm down to try and eat new food", said Caroline. Caroline took a bite of the tamale and smiled. "These are actually good but did you add any peppers in here?" Asked Caroline. "Si, why?" Asked Josefa. Caroline's face swelled up. "Because I'm allergic to peppers", said Caroline. Josefa was shocked and took Caroline to the emergency room.
