9 Meeting the king's family.

It's a Person. Not something that you would normally see falling out of the sky, let alone a castle. I should probably catch them. Welp, time to be a shock absorber. I jump down onto my stomach, underneath where their flight path is headed. Good thing I took some physics.

Ouch.

Good thing she landed on my behind, they almost broke my hip

"You okay?" I manage to say, after making sure that they have gotten off.

"Yeah, but can you help me?"

I look over, and it's a girl about my age, covered in light armor, holding what looks like a attempt at a parachute.

"Trying to make a glider?"

" A what?"

"A glider. Where I come from, you don't use that weak of cloth. Try to weave it thicker, along with enough of it to catch the air."

I help her up.

"Sorry, but it's not my experiment, it's my lady's. She shoved me out the window."

"Princess Wendy?"

"Yeah..."

"Ouch. Well, relay the tips,She was close, you did slow down quite a bit. But I'm here to speak with the king."

I just realized that Wendy is crazy. I'm not going to interfere in her experiments, only give her tips. Also, if you're wondering what the name of the king is, I too, do not know. I honestly forgot to ask.

Any way, I go through the checkpoint, they take my sword and knives, and put a note with my name on it. I climb the 74 Steps that lead up to the main entrance. I counted to calm myself, I'm just too excited. I'm so excited right now, I forgot that the girl from earlier was behind me, following me until I pass the stairs up to Wendy's Research Tower.

"Who are you again?" She asked suddenly, reminding me about her.

"Oh, I'm one of the ones that Wendy summoned, I just turned of age for the system. Sacaroth."

"You shouldn't just reveal that to anyone, you know."

I turn to the new voice, wondering who it is. A lady in a dress. Oh no. As I run past, trying to talk to the King before she tries to experiment on me, I manage to get in the castle doors, when, the King, walks out, and then I trip. Everything blacked out after that.

Now, I'm awake, in the same place where all of this started.

[Oh, Host, you're awake. Prepare for some pain after the message. First, Due to you tripping, you rested ahead of the plan. Second, I got the system integrated. And last, Due to your choice of starting Mana type, you about to feel what your cells changing their genetic code, along with the energy for that. Time to bring the pain. : )]

What? OH HOLY MOTHER OF F-

"AHHGH!"

So, that one yell there, has been shortened by about 20 minutes. here's what happened during that, from out side my perspective.

*****

"AHHGH!"

"Oh, sounds like he's awake." Wendy said, from on the other side of the castle.

"You knew he would do that?" King Randell said, quietly.

"Yes father, didn't you hear the other three? Oh, you were helping explain a dungeon. Anyway, that's the process of his body starting to accept the new Mana. It's quite excruciating, I know, due to that dungeon you had me clear a while back. Remember that?"

"Oh, yes, that was a great party."

"Dad."

"Sorry. Should we go over there yet?"

"Let's finish this game."

Lying in front of them, was a deck of cards, and a box. They were playing Poker.

***

After I finished screaming, I got a notification from the system.

[You can set these messages to go to log, just letting you know. If so, say send to logbook.]

"Yeah, of course, I'll look at them later. SEND TO LOGBOOK! YOU STUPID SYSTEM!"

[Important Message: I can still take that away so you can experience that again. Don't talk back to me, Boy.]

Crap. After experiencing that, I don't want to again.

I pass out, for the 20 minutes before the princess gets here.

...

"You know, I didn't expect him to be asleep so quickly. I thought it would've gone on another hour."

"Well, your second was a Tier 4 Element, It appears his is Tier 2. What, however, I can't tell."

I hear two lovely female voices, and then I hear a males

"Hey, he's awake."

"Do you think he heard us?"

I sit up slowly, Still groggy from my nap.

"Which part? First thing I heard was two lovely voices."

I look around. It's the Triplets. Wendy's here too. Same with the king. Crap. Next thing I see is the inside of a wall.

"Hey look, it's a Self magic. It looks kinda weird though." The King says, not worried about me in the least.

"Ow. Hey, old man, I never got your name."

"Oh, yeah, we should get you out. This is on you though. You were flirting." I hear a crash. Now, a Younger Teen with spiky black hair and gold eyes is in the wall with me. He's grinning.

"Hello."

"Is he like this to the suiters?"

Now I'm in the moat. It appears, that my body has been strengthened. Maybe a side effect of being summoned. It may have been only wood up there, and apparently, it was the small church-like building from before. It's like they planned a fall into the water, seeing as how it's on the edge of castle grounds.

"Dad, why did you do that! It was a joke!"

I hear one of the girls say. I grin, and look around for a way out. I think they use this as their swimming pool, as it's clean, not filled with crocs, and ladders every twenty or so feet. Great idea. I climb the nearest one.

As I'm walking back, The prince, also goes out the hole I did. However, he catches himself with wind magic. Damn, that's cool. I'm at the door to the small building now, and the prince uses his wind magic on me to dry me before I manage to step back in.

"The butler just mopped." he says, simply.

I sit back on the bed I woke up in.

"Well, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Sacaroth, a just today adult, that Wendy summoned. Who is who?" I introduce, And the prince starts.

"Raymond. She's Charlotte, but call her Charlie." He points. I take a quick glance around the room.

One girl has curly pink hair, and the same style of clothes that I gave the tailor. Just, they are pink.

The next one in line up, One I already met, Wendy. Black hair, same clothes, just blue.

The one he's pointing at, the last in line, is wearing the same clothes, just purple. She too, has black hair, it's down to where I'd say here shoulder blades are.

I'm guessing the Princesses are inheriting of their mother in a few areas, like beautiful, smart, and dangerous. I did see a few portraits. The King was a lucky man.

All three are beautiful in their own way. Charlie, has a, hmm, cute and tricky feeling.

Wendy, is the more of beautiful then the other two, with a small taste of intelligence and crazy in the air around her.

And the last one, who I think her name was Elizabeth, has the, youngest child feeling.

Anyway, let's continue.

"So, you're Charlie," I smile at her, and continue.

"I've already met Wendy, and you must be Elizabeth, or should I call you Liz?"

I look over at her, and it looks like she ignored me. Well,

either she doesn't like me, or just doesn't like the name.

"Ah, yeah, Your Highness, I never got your name. What should I call you?" I asked

"Eh, you can call me Randy, as long as you don't think about touching my daughters."

"Okay, thanks Randy." I look at Wendy.

"Hey Wendy, have you heard of 'Body' Magic before?"

"Hmm? Ah, I'm afraid not. For now, follow me, I'm going to need to check it's properties anyway." She replied, disappointing me, yet, at the same time, getting me exited to see what I can do

"How are you going to do that?"

She stands up, pointing at the research tower.

"I'm going to teach you how to use the Mana. Depending on it's properties, what you do with it will cause a different result. For Example, my Mana Type, is a Fusion of Wind Mana, which you could call tier one, and Dark Ice Mana, which was tier 4. it fused into a Black Blizzard. Still Tier 4."

We started walking to the tower.

" How is it still Tier 4?" I ask, not understanding at all.

"Well, first, we'll start your Mana. You probably didn't see it, but your body made a weird tendril as soon as father smacked you into the wall." She paused for a second, making sure I was listening

"It had shaped itself into a small outer skin shield made of bone and muscle. That was the Mana in your body acting on it's own to protect you. I don't understand how it did it on it's own, but we'll figure it out with training."

"And how are we doing that?"

"I'm guessing you tried to do it already, but that was probably before you had it. Now, try to focus inside yourself, we'll stop for a second."

I do as she says, and sure enough, there is a small ball of light on the other side of my heart.

"Try to move it like you would your hand. Today's goal is getting that, in your blood. You probably know the name of this, Mana Blood. It'll hurt, but I'll make precautions as it's an early time. By having it in your blood, it should make it easier to control."

*****

Now, we are up in the tower, and she's given me some weird things.

First up, we have a small crystal she asked me to swallow.

Second, a 'Special' Apple. She said if I eat that, I'd be able to see someone's amount of Mana in their Mana Core.

Third, A Blue Liquid. She said it SHOULD be fine for me to drink, and that she made it herself.

Last, a tiny, little, Olive. She won't say anything for this one.

I swallow the Crystal. All of a sudden, the system gave me a notification.

[ Low Magic Experience Crystal Consumed. Magic Level increased by two. You are now magic level 3]

"You just increased my magic level by two." I half-shout

"Have you even opened the interface yet, or was that just the notification." She half-shouted back

"Ah, crap you're right. I forgot." I, right back

'System, please pull up the display.'

[One moment. Please look in the center of your vision.]

I do as I'm told, as usual, and a UI pops up.

[If you look at your sides, you should have two plus signs.]

I look down.

'I have two each'

[Ah, that's good for you. those are quick slots, in which you could put something up to a meter in diameter. If you look on your left forearm, you should have up to, say, five bars. Green is health, blue is Mana. Simple, but hey, I don't make the rules. Next, the three bars is hunger, thirst, and energy.]

Okay...

[Those run out, you need to regain it. Energy counts as anything restful. The other, simple.]

Alright. Thanks. If I remember right, your name is Tiffany, right?

[Yessir]

Okay.

[If you tap the icon with the three bars on the back of your right, you should see my different menus. Gacha is still locked for me at the moment, but the others will unlock when you do the things related. I'm sorry, but I don't have a inventory, the most likely thing is the quick slots.]

Alright. Thanks Tiffany.

[Your Welcome Host.]

I look at my status. There's a lot more then just simply stats. It shows the stats of my legs and arms, along with my torso and head. All in a rotatable 3-D display.

My head is the only one with the intelligence and wisdom stat. My torso show the status of my organs, and my head also show the brains status.

"Hey Wendy, does it normally have the separate body parts stats too, or is it just me?"

"Oh, that, yeah, it's normal. Ben, Mary, and the other one mentioned it, but the other one didn't seem surprised. Please Assign the points into the Mana Crystal, that's a different tab."

At this point, she's looking through all the info she could gather, so that she could understand my Mana more.

I go into the tab, and sure enough, I have fifteen points.

Five for each level, huh.

I looks at the stats of the Crystal, and it has FIVE different stats: Power, Storing, Cost, Control, and Gathering.

"Hey, which do I invest in?" I ask

"Put at least seven in control for now, and at least one for the rest. It's up to you where."

Seven from fifteen is 9, 5 points left, huh. Then Two in gathering, one in cost, and two in storing.

Ow. Was that a pinch? I touch that side of my chest, and she immediately says,

"You put some in storing, huh."

She said, not even looking up from the book.

"How did you know?"

"I felt the amount of Mana in you increase. Also, the crystal grows." she continues,

"Judging from the Mana in the air, some, in gathering."

"Yeah, two in each. I put one in cost." I reply

"Waiting to put power in until you start fighting, huh?" She asks

"Yep."

She gets up from her books, and hands me the apple.

"Please chew quietly, at least." She asks

I nod.

She moves back across the room, at the desk covered with at least five books.

I start chewing on it, and it's delicious, so I start chewing a bit faster. I accidentally crunch loudly.

She looks over,

"Drink the poition, would you." Half-Annoyed, she says

I go to drink it, and I drop the apple. Oops, I say to myself. I go to chase it before it rolls away, and it went out the door.

I went out to look for it, and it's going down the stairs.

"Damnit." I say, disappointed

I sit back down defeated. I drink the poition, and then,

[Poition of High Mana Boost effect added. Mana increased by 2 for 24 hours.]

"Okay, I'm about to eat that olive." I half-shout, again

"Ok, give me a sec, got to put the book's away." Right back

"Oh, um, the apple fell out of my hands. It went down the stairs." I manage to say, slightly scared of what she might do

After a pause

"Damn, that sucks. Well, you don't need it, it was just to impress you with my Mana anyway." She says, with a small pout

"Was it a permanent effect, or just temporary?" I ask

"Eh, about 1-2 hours. It's not that hard to grow, so I'll have the butler plant the seeds. How ever, the olive is different." She responds

"How's that?" I ask " It creates the affinity for your Mana." She replies, and I ask

"Specifically mine, or just the one who eats it?"

"The one who eats it." She says, and I reply

"Well, that's slightly different, but still cool. Oh, I know that Raymond has some kind of wind element, what do your other siblings have?"

I eat the olive, it tastes slightly bad but I still swallow it. I've never been a big fan. She starts, once I'm done

"Ray has a Wind Spirit Element. He's more of a summoner. Charlie, She uses Shadow Mana, but it's been fused with wind, we all actually use wind as the main bit. Liz uses storm magic. And that's Tier 3, not 5. Dad doesn't use Wind Mana, he's also a self Mana type. I think it's a Fire type?"

"I actually don't know much about tiers, remember?" I try to remind, and this is what I got

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Tier One is basic, like Flaming Sword magic. But that occurs when a sword user uses flame magic."

" Tier two is like inherited magic, it's a fusion of tier ones. Unlike yours, which seems to be a more, tweaked version of shape shifting magic, and that is tier 5 as well. Tier three, is aquired through practice, skills, along with synergy."

"Say, you could put air Mana into a arrow, and instead of changing direction midair with Mana, with your own archery skills. Then, you could use Mana for, Increased piercing, or make it faster. Then, you could get a specialized element for that."

I stop her before she continues

"Okay, my brain is getting overwhelmed. Let's get to tier five if I get to that point, okay? I already know tier 4 Mana can come from a dungeon, right?"

"Yes, but it can also come as a gods blessing. Or just a blessing from a high power being."

"Okay, for now, let's get me able to use the Mana, okay?" Desperate to help my headache, I change the conversation.

"Okay, just let me get some tea from the butlers. Do you prefer anything?

"Lemon, thank you." I Half-shout

She went downstairs, oh god finally. I guess once she starts, she never stops, unless there's outside force.

I check the logs, and I've learned: Mana Manipulation Lv.1 , Mana Shaping Lv.2, The Active Skill ,Mana

Bolt Lv.1, and Element Infusion.

Well, I might as well as start focusing. I actually play a bit with it, as those points in it are really making it easier. I set the system to show points instead of a bar.

So, it seems, the further out of my body it goes, it gets weaker. I guess that's why it cost more for a actually good spell. I haven't even used one point yet.

Now, for infusion. I chose to put it in my fingertip. As soon as I did it, from the last joint up of my index finger , it grew longer, clawed, and when I scratched at the desk's corner, it went right through, not even any resistance.

When I put all the Mana I could in it, my nail grew even sharper.

I tried coating it on the outside of my finger, it grew denser, along with covering it with a sheet of bone, multiple times, and a short claw grew out of it when I put some in my nail. When I tried to get the bone denser, I got this.

[To do this action, please increase this elements level to 3. Current level, 1. Until next level, 67 of 100 proficiency.]

Oh. That sucks . Well, I'll wait. Here, what about the bones before my finger?

As I moved the Mana, my whole finger transformed, with the transformation moving where I moved the Mana. Huh.

When I got down to the bone that held my finger bone socket in, my whole finger transformed. I released the small density of Mana, and moved it to my wrist. Now, my whole hand changed.

"What the Hell?!?" I hear from the doorway, wondering if she saw it.

"What do mean, we don't have any lemon at the moment?"

"Madam, we ran out two days ago, when you used it for its seeds for a plant idea, remember?"

"Oh... Yeah your, right, sorry for yelling. You know, just use some Apples instead."

"Right away ,Madam." After that last bit, I head some running on the stone. I heard her climbing the steps. I rushed as quietly as possible back to the chair. I just realised I haven't studied the room yet. The is a glass dome on top of the tower, with a bed above the bookshelves.

I'm currently on a lower level, in a circle-ish area, and then it goes outward, going up three times with each section. I'm in a chair at a tall coffee table, the table surrounded three other chairs. the desk is next to those bookshelves.

The top level looks like some king of Alchemy / Crafting area . There is a ladder to the second area on the other side of the desk.

I managed to tell this in the 20 seconds it took for her to climb the stairs.

"Okay, I'm back."

(Author Note: Is this a good size? I took three hours of writing as I went.)
