CHAPTER TWO

"Cadence, wait for me!" Summer shouted, running after her. Cadence has been running around the concert venue to meet her internet friends. Summer took a deep breath and boy, was she thankful for her track and field class for this. She was tired, 3 hours of running was quite a time. Summer reached the lounge area, which was extremely filled with people. She didn't know what else to do, but to sit down near the door with her legs crossed. Her 2 hours' worth of makeup and dressing up disappeared beneath the sweat and exhaustion from all the running. She decided to stay put to where she is, so she pulls out her phone to call her friend.

"The number you have dialed is either unattended or out of coverage area, please try calling later…"

"Oh, come on!" Summer groans. The number of people around her was suffocating-- loud screeching, screaming, shouting, crying. The noise was too much, especially for her. Her head started throbbing, and come to think of it, she hasn't drunk anything since this morning. Her vision was starting to get blurry, she might faint soon if she doesn't get out of it, or drink medicine for this terrible headache.

"Here," A deep voice and a hand with a water bottle appeared in front of her. She looked up, squinting her eyes as if the lack of vision would magically come back if she does. "You should drink before you collapse, Miss." Summer blinked, taking the water with desperation despite it being from a complete stranger. A gulp of water did the trick. She felt refreshed and better. "A thank you would be nice?" The stranger sat down in front of her.

"Uhmm, Thanks…" Summer bit her lower lip as she mumbled softly. She wasn't that open to talking to strangers unlike Cadence, she was reserved and her desperation for refreshments earlier brought a dark shade of red on her cheeks. "I-I'm Summer, by the way!" Summer brought her hands in front of him, "Thank you for the water, Mister…"

"Celis," The stranger took her hand, but instead of shaking it, He took a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to her, "Nice to meet you, Summer." The stranger removed his glasses and hood from his jacket, revealing his long fringe brown hair and upturned eyes. He was quite handsome, Summer thought. "So I'm guessing, you're here for the concert?" Summer wanted to mutter a playful "obviously," but then again, She just met the man and would probably seem rude if she did, so Summer did what she thought was safe. She nodded. "Are you here with anyone?"

"I'm with my friend actually, but I think I lost her." Summer realized that she was supposed to be looking for Cadence before the boy arrived. "I should probably look for her! Thank you so much for this, Celis!" Summer stood up, patting her shorts clean.

"Call me if you need help," Celis pointed at the paper on her hand. ' Shoot, why don't I notice this type of thing? ' Summer mentally slapped herself for being so insensitive. Summer simply nodded, placing the piece of paper-- a calling card, inside her bag before bowing at the male and rushing away from the scene. Boy was that awkward.

"Summer, where have you been!?" Summer has never felt so happy to hear her best friend's voice. "I turned around and you weren't there!" Summer could only hold her friend's hand tightly. The experience earlier was too bad for it to happen again.

```
"Wait… So you're telling me that when you got lost, a strange man gave you a water bottle and his number?" Cadence and Summer finally settled down at the local coffee shop inside the concert venue, Summer couldn't be more thankful with Cadence's quick skills on how to slide into a vacant table before it gets occupied. "And you didn't even look at who that strange man is?" Summer took a bite from her spoonful of carrot cake, nodding at every single question Cadence gives. Cadence was now admiring the small calling card, even too busy to mind her own meal.
"I know his name's Celis though," Summer reasoned.
"Summer, sweetie…" Cadence looked up at her in disbelief, "You just met S.O.L. 's composer slash producer, Celis Zero! He's THE Zero, Summer! He even gave you his number?! Oh my gosh! You have got to call him!" Summer almost choked.
How could a top producer like himself even notice her? Well, One reason would probably because Summer looked like she was about to faint at that exact time, but it was still quite an unbelievable moment. Summer wasn't a fan of the idea of liking a public figure, not anywhere like Cadence.
"I'm pretty sure he just wants to make sure that I didn't faint, Cay… It doesn't mean anything." Summer nods, convincing Cadence and herself with that statement. Cadence nudged her arm with a pout on her lips. Summer could only sigh, she knew exactly what the girl was doing. "I will NOT call him, Cay," she says firmly.
"Please? Just this once!" Cadence clasps her hands together with the same googly eyes that she uses often whenever she wants something done her way, and Summer has always been a victim.
"Ugh! Fine! Just this once, okay?" Cadence smiled widely, taking the phone from her friend's bag and handing it to her. "Call him!" She says, "Ohh! Put it on speakerphone too!" Summer rolls her eyes and comply. Despite the convincing she did with herself that the boy was probably just trying to help, she still did want to call him to say thank you for the water earlier, but not this way where her friend was listening at the other side of the table and everyone would probably hear their conversation.
'Just say thank you,' Summer reminded herself.
"Hey, who is this?" Summer's eyes widened, Celis answered in just three rings. "
"Uhmm, Hi… This is Summer, the girl you helped earlier…" Cadence was wiggling on her seat, "That's him!" She mouthed, "That's his voice!"
"Oh, the pretty girl! Did you find your friend?" Cadence pointed at herself, 'Me, friend?' Summer could only nod back to her friend who was prolly panicking.
"Yeah, I'm with her right now!" Summer placed her index finger on top of her lips, she knew her friend would squeal any moment now. "I just want to say thank you for earlier--"
"Cel, Rehearsal's about to start!" Summer was cut off when he heard a voice, a different voice through the phone. It wasn't any from the S.O.L. members, but it sounded too familiar.
"You're welcome, Summer!" Celis replied as if he was ignoring the voice, "Rehearsal's about to start so I'll save your number, okay? Talk to you later when I can, Bye!"
"Sounds like he was talking to someone…" Summer says when the call ended, placing her phone inside her pocket.
"Hmm? Doesn't sound like it though… Sounds like He was in a rush, maybe my love Jett called him!" Cadence giggles.
"Oh? Was that Jett? I heard a voice earlier calling him for Rehearsals," but she was quite sure that voice wasn't from any of the S.O.L., maybe from the staff?
How come it sounds too familiar though…
```

Summer knew she attended a concert, but her agenda of enjoying the whole concert's live music seems kind of impossible.

"Aidan! Marry me!"

"Oh my gosh! Jett, I love you with my whole heart!"

"Ellis, my boy! Baby, my baby!"

"Luis, love! Marry me!"

"Kyle! This should be illegal! You look so handsome!"

And those aren't the only screams, she has heard all night. She simply sat there, humming along with the song while everyone's up on their feet, near the barricade. She's thankful that Cadence bought front-row VIP seats instead of VIP standing, or else she would've been pushed along the crowd. "Summer, look! Jett looks so good on the drums!" Summer looks up to her friend, Cadence, who's pretty much sobbing her eyes out. Cadence practically dragged Summer to the S.O.L. concert after waving her newly bought VIP tickets in front of her a few weeks ago. "He does," Summer replied, handing her friend a tissue to which she rejected as she was too focused on the five males in front of them.

"Lunas, are you ready for the last song?" A silver-hair colored male said.

"Did you hear that, Cay?" Cadence only looked at her, a bit confused. "Nevermind." Cadence shrugged her shoulder before diverting her attention back to the stage. Summer focused on the mysterious male jumping up and down beside Aidan, who seems unfazed about the person who has been jumping beside him, even singing in his mic with Him. The man has been there since the beginning with the same clothes even when others changed. Summer has been seeing him ever since but seeing him live was quite an attention-catching. The strange silver-haired man was diverting her attention from everything.

The concert ended in the blink of an eye. The two girls headed at the back of the venue to wait for S.O.L.'s van to arrive. Summer had to deal with bodies crashing into her and screams directly to her ears due to the fans (Earlier was better than what she's experiencing now). Cadence has managed to sneak both of them at the front barricade. Summer had to hold on to the dear metal for her life with everyone trying to reach towards the five males walking towards their vehicle.

"Jetro Miguelle!!! I love you!" Cadence screamed at the top of her lungs. Summer held onto Cadence's arm when suddenly he noticed the silver-hair male pass by. He was taller than how he seems to be close-up. His face was rather pale and his sharp double-lid made his deep brown eyes stood out.

'Who are you…' she thought.

"Silver-hair!" Immediately, the male stopped walking and faced hair. It was as if the world stopped when their eyes met. The male's eyes widened as he pointed to himself, "Me, Silver hair?" Summer managed to nod. She looked down to see a patch on his button-up,

Cyrus.
