2 Beat Down

Shazam landed beside the crawling Abomination, making the monster look up with a little bit of fear. The two looked at each other for a few minutes before Shazam smiled.

"Sorry about that, I was checking if everything was in order. Courage of Achilles indeed, I do not feel even a little bit hesitant of what I am about to do," Shazam said before punching Abomination on the chest so hard the ground turned into a small crater. Abomination groaned in pain, his chest slightly caved in.

"I am about to check my own limits so I would advice you don't die," Shazam said before getting hold of Abomination with one hand and hurled him to the sky. With a smirk, he jumped after him, a actually accelerating till he reached him and landed another punch that sent Abomination hurtling back towards the city.

Shazam stopped midflight and flew after him, surpassing him then stopped as he hovered just a few inches from the road. He clenched his right hand fist as electricity started cackling around it. People stopped their activities as they watched Abomination fly right into the lightning covered fist. As soon as the punch landed, a shockwave was released, throwing everyone to the ground and shattering all the glasses it came across. An almighty roar of pain filled the air as Abomination was sent flying once again, his whole body covered with lightning making his muscles spasm. Shazam smiled even more and flew after him.

Shockwave after shockwave filled the sky of the city, the residents of New York hearing roaring of pain after a flash in the sky followed by the shockwave. For five minutes, Shazam beat the living shit out of Abomination, destroying any sort of DNA he might have left behind using his lightning because, who needs another Abomination? After the five minutes, Abomination was beaten, broken and barely conscious. If one had an X-ray, they would see just how much internal damage he had from broken bones to raptured internal organs. If he dared to talk he would cough out his lungs.

"Do not go to sleep yet, Blonsky, I'm not done," Shazam said as he got hold of Abomination's head with both his hands. His eyes glowed blue with lightning before he discharged it through his hands and onto Abomination.

The skies turned dark as soon as Abomination opened his mouth to scream only to be silenced by a thunderbolt. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he finally lost his consciousness. Shazam let him go, making the huge body land of the ground with a thud. Staring at him with hate, Shazam raised his right hand, his palm open. Lightning strike after lightning strike fell onto the hand making it glow more and more till even the lights behind him seemed to dim out.

"For all those lives you ruthlessly took, I shall take it upon myself to take your life so that no more lives will be lost by your hands," Shazam said with conviction but when he tried to move his hand and decapitate him, his hand did not move and inch. He tried once again but his hand didn't budge.

"FUCK!" he cried out, throwing out a punch to the sky with his right hand, sending the accumulated lightning to the clouds above him, leaving a huge hole in the dark sky.

"It's difficult," Shazam heard someone say behind him, making him turn around, ready to fight only to see Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit looking at him. "Taking a life for the first time, it's very difficult."

"Is the Merchant of Death about to lecture me about the importance of human life? That's ironic," Shazam scoffed before looking back at Abomination.

"Yes, I am about to lecture you about that, actually. Listen, the first life you take may be the tipping point to becoming either a homicidal miniac or a vigilante. It is very difficult but extremely easy it is scary. The fact that you could have done it but your body or rather your mind is preventing you to do it means you are a good person, not weak," Tony said as he came and stood next to him. He looked at Abomination and flinched at the state he was in. "Maybe hold back a little. But when you take a life, you have to make sure your whole body is going to listen to you otherwise if you freeze like you just did you will become a target." Shazam looked at Tony with some gratitude because that small pep talk made him feel better before he started floating, indicating he was about to fly away.

"Wait, wait, there's more," Tony shouted, making Shazam look back at him with a frown.

"Are you trying to turn me in? Because your current suit cannot withstand one punch of mine," Shazam warned him.

"Turn you in? I'm not that bored. What I want actually is to tell you about this team I am bringing together. A team filled with people who are special in their own way," Tony said, amking Shazam frown. He remembered that Hulk was supposed to have happened after Iron Man 2 and supposedly after Thor came to Earth, making Fury have the urgency to bring together the Avengers due to aliens/Asgardians.

"I'll think about it," Shazam said before taking the the sky, going super Sonic almost immediately, leaving a very fascinated Tony Stark behind.

"Jarvis, how soon can we make a suit that can withstand his strength?" Tony asked.

"With the readings I got from his fight, I would say he has not shown his full strength so it might take a while, sir," Jarvis answered, making Tony even more determined.

Peter reached his house finally and immediately flopped to his bed. He had hidden well before he changed back from his Shazam's persona and right now, be was having a nervous breakdown. What he did to Abomination was starting to bore down on his weak will making him have scary visions of the whole beatdown.

He wanted to change back to Shazam so that that courage of Achilles can calm him down but he knew of the risks or rather, he was afraid of doing it there at his apartment. Finally, he decided to lose himself into his game like he always does to escape reality and he finally calmed down, temporarily forgetting about the day for a momentary distraction.
