7 Tournament

I walk around with Akane to observe the other matches taking place. Most of them still seem to be amateurs. So far, Dominex was eliminated by Levy. The fight was over as soon as It started. It wasn't even worth watching. I tell Akane, "Watch out for Levy she is really fast. I don't think even I would win if she got serious and used her magic." Akane says "Wait how do you know she can use magic?"

I look at Akane and say, "I can see her aura, and it has a tinge of magic power." Normally, their aura will be outlined with their affinity to what magic. Levy had an all black aura, so I almost didn't catch a trace of magic until I looked closer. The outline of her aura had a darker shade of black. Akane speaks "Alright I will be careful, but do you think I can win?" I look at akane and say,"The only way you can win is if you can anticipate where she will be. Otherwise, you will lose."

Akane looks irritated and says, "So what you're saying is I have to rely on luck." I sigh and say "Yes if that's how you wanna look at it, although let me give you a tip. If she is serious about the fight, she will distract you with an illusion and come up behind you. If she is testing you, she will strike from the front or left side." Akane looks serious and says,"I see, so I will have to surprise her somehow in the beginning."

The last match ends, and one of the judges stands and announces, "We will now select the brackets come forward and draw a number. The number that matches yours will be your opponent." He places a box on the judges' desk and motions for everyone to form a line. One hundred people get into line and start taking their numbers.

I get in line right behind Levy and think "Well this is a pleasant surprise." I smile and say "Levy why didn't you go all out in our match?." Levy glances back to see who it was and doesn't say anything but according to he aura she seemed irritated. I laugh a little and say, "If you're irritated because what I said at the end of our match just know I didn't mean to criticize you, I just thought you wanted to know why you lost." She whirls around as she does she looks like a phantom, then the next thing I know, she is behind me with a dagger to my throat.

She then says, "I don't need your advice when I can kill you any time I want." I put my hands up in surrender and say "Alright I won't say another word. I won't win anyway." She removes the dagger and gets back in line without another word. after about thirty minutes we reach the front. Levy reaches into the box and pulls her slip into its number twenty-three. The judge takes the slip of paper and announces her number it is now my turn. I reach the front only eye level with the table. Before I try to reach up to the box, the judge asks, "How old are you child?" I say,"I'm five years old, sir. " He sighs and says,"Although you won your right to enter the tournament, I can't allow you to participate unless you are at least twelve years old. We are using this tournament to recruit people into a new unit, so I can't in good conchins let you participate."

I say, "I understand sir thank you for allowing me to come this far." I bow in respect and turn to walk away, feeling frustrated. I think to myself damn sister is going to be mad, but i understand how they feel. I wouldn't even allow a child into the tournament in my past life. I decided to watch the matches of Levy and my sister. Then I hear Akane has gotten the number twenty-three. I think to myself sorry sister you won't win, but i will still watch the match. It should at least be interesting. I go stand at the front to watch the matches, and after a while, it's the twenty-third match. Both Levy and Akane enter the arena at the same time, and the crowd is waiting eagerly in anticipation. Some even shout to Levy to make it quick. They both get into fighting stances, and then I notice Levy plans to take this match seriously. The judge yells, "BEGIN!" Levy launches forward faster than I can see. Then I hear clang. I yell "Yes sister did it! She managed to predict the first move!" When I look in their direction, they are having a furious battle, but Akane is up against the edge of the ring back against the barrier. It's taking everything she has just to parry each blow. Levy smirks, and I see her aura spike, then the barrier cracks as she hits sister hard in the stomach. Blood bursts from Akane's mouth as she completely loses consciousness. I jump down to the outskirts of the arena and yell, "Akane!" The crowd reduses my yell to nothing as they cheer wildly.

I get to Akane just as the barrier goes down and check her. There is a very big black and blue bruise on her abdomen. With several cuts all over her body, she looks like a mess. I get extremely angry as I notice Levy played with her before she delivered the final blow. She lays in a small puddle of her own vomit and blood. The healers push me aside as they do first aid and minor healing. I look at Levy as she is walking away. I unleash an astronomical amount of killing intent amplified by my aura. She makes her turn around and get into a defensive stance as soon as she feels it. I yell angrily. "You played with her for what to get back at me!? Tell me the reason why you did this to my sister!?" Levy doesn't answer, but i can tell from her aura she is ready for my attack, which only makes me even more angry.

I am about to burst forward using times ten consequences be damned but then mother blocks my way and says "Don't do it Argos I understand your feelings but she isn't in violation of the rules if you do this I won't be able to protect you from the law." I look away and clench my hands hard enough to draw blood. It hurts, but the pain helps me subside my anger before replying "fine mother but i dont like what happened. I will be with Akane in the medical tent outside." I walk away following the healers who are carrying my sister.
