2 My New Life

I come to looking at a cieling it appears to be a wooden cieling. I try to look around, but i am unable to move very well, so I can't see much, but it seems I am in a crib. I think to myself, "I see, so I'm still an infant. I can only hope nothing bad happens until I can actually start training again." I hear a door open and hear footsteps coming towards me. I try to look over at the noise, but still, I am not able to move much, so my vision is limited. Then some woman picks me up now that I have a clear line of view i see that it is a little girl maybe ten years old who picked me up she has short red hair and golden eyes that seem like a dragons eyes.

I find myself mesmerized by her eyes as she stares back into mine. The girl says, "Mom and dad are out fighting the monsters right now, so I have to look after you until they get back." I think to myself."So she must be my older sister." she gives me a bottle with what appears to be milk as she tries to feed me she looks a little confused on how. I can't help but mentally laugh as she tries so hard to figure it out. At first, she gave me the wrong end of the bottle and tried to force it into my mouth, and I cried, seeing as I couldn't talk yet. after about two minutes, she finally got it right. As I started to drink the fluid, it tasted kinda sweet and made me suck harder on the nipple of the bottle, wanting every last drop! My sister laughs and says, "Calm down, little brother, or you will get a tummy ache." After I was done drinking the liquid, I started to get tired and think to myself."What did that girl just give me? I'm so tired."

She puts me back into my crib as I drift to sleep. I wake up to my door opening as I open my eyes. I see an adult woman standing over me smiling she says, "My little Argos come to mommy." She reaches down and picks me up, cradling me in her arms, then turns to my sister "Akane did you take care of your little brother while we were gone?" Akane replies enthusiastically "Yes mother I fed and changed him while you and dad were gone." Mother smiled at Akane and said,"Thank you for looking after him while we were gone. Now, go get ready for supper and say hello to your father." I think to myself."I wonder if I can learn magic even though I didn't take Astros's power?" I'm thinking about this topic so hard it shows on my face. I hear mother laughing it scares me out of my thinking, and doing so just makes her laugh harder as she says, "Why such a serious look, Argos, are you constipated?"

I get irritated from her scaring me I make loud noises as I yell "What the hell woman!." This makes my mother gasp for air as she laughs at my irritated expression making loud cute baby noises. My eyes widen as I finally take a look at her she has dark red hair and golden eyes and a body lean with muscle, though her breasts weren't huge. I begin to wonder as I think to myself, "I want to know if big boobs just get in the way while fighting." She is finally done laughing and begins to give me a bottle. I accept the bottle greedily and think to myself "wow this tastes amazing." Once I am done, Mother lays me back into the crib.

This goes on for two years before finally I can walk and talk, although not in big words, I can still hold a small conversation. I wake up in my crib and begin to gather my ki now that my body can handle gathering ki. I use a breathing technique from my old world to feel the ki around me as I am in my meditative state. I can immediately feel it around me, although the feeling of this ki is peculiar. I start to wonder if this is what they call magic as I continue this process, I gather it into one spot at the core of my body. I start doing this any time I am alone. I don't want to freak out my parents after all, although I have yet to see my father. He is apparently a commander in the human liberation army. I haven't started to gather more information since I am still learning to speak my new language.

One night, my sister Akane burst through the door, waking me up as she quickly grabbed me up with a blanket. I ask "Sissy where going?" As she sprints out the door of the house, I see flying demons attacking everyone in town. Akane burrys my head into her shoulder and says, "It's gonna be okay, Argos. we are going to the shelter. Mommy and Daddy will kill these mean monsters." I hold her tightly as I am watching people litteraly being torn in half by the raw power of the demons tossing the soldiers like rag dolls even in full plate armor. I think, "This is much worse than I thought I must get stronger! Curse my small body. If only I could help protect the town, I just hope they win."

We made it into the castle for shelter. My sister held me close. I look up into Akane's eyes it seems she is holding her emotions back, but she won't cry since I am here. I felt bad for Akane, so I placed my hands on her cheeks and said, "It okay sissy can cry." As I did this, she hugged me tightly and cried into my shoulder. I say in my head, "I vow to always protect my sister and parents. I just need more time!"
