1 A New World

I wake up in a small room with three people staring at me curiously. I blink a few times as I try to look at the one closest to me. He looks as if he is shrouded in darkness. The one in the middle has a divine radiance coming from him with a light that is almost blinding. The last one looks more like some flame elemental from the volcanic region in my world. Their presence almost makes me kneel as if they are God's.

I ask, "What happened? I was just on the battlefield?" The one shrouded in darkness was the first to answer."You have been selected to be our champion to save a world that has fallen into chaos. My name is Jurgen, the god of destruction" I stare wide-eyed in surprise saying,"So it's true there are gods in this world, but why me why was I chosen to bring hope to this lost world? "

This time, the god that radiates light was the one to speak. "You were chosen because you are the strongest human we could find. You have lived through countless wars and stand at the pinnacle of humankind. That is why you were chosen to free the lost world of Gole." I started to think,"How desperate is the situation in this lost world that even the gods need to ask for help." I ask .What is the situation in the world of Gole? I'm sure the gods could accomplish more than I could."

Jurgen chuckles and says, "God's can't directly interfere in the world we govern, but we can select those worthy of our power to help these worlds." Jurgen looks to the elemental god and says,"Would you like to explain it to him Astros?" Astros doesn't speak only waves his hand dismissively at Jurgen signaling Jurgen can explain. Jurgen doesn't spare another thought and goes to explain to me the information i seek," This world is ranked as the hardest to ever exist and if you fail in helping the world we plan to destroy it." "This world is over run by demonic races constantly attacking the mortal races Elves, Humans, and Dwarves to the point all other races are dwindling to extinction disrupting the power balance of the world so Argos will you help us in saving the world of Gole or will you refuse us." I say."This is a lot to take in what is my current strength to theirs, how will I be reincarnated or will I be transmigrated with my current body?" This time it is Astros that speaks "Your current strength isn't adequate if I am to compare you to the strongest demon of Gole then I would say you could buy a little time for others to retreat but would still die in a matter of five minutes." I stare at them stunned and think."I have never lost a battle nor found a worthy opponent, and yet they say I wouldn't even last more than five minutes interesting." I smile excitedly and say "This is the opertunaty of a life time I can grow stronger and fight others far stronger then I could have imagined now please tell me how I will go to this new world and am I going to receive any power from you."

Jurgen laughs and says, "Now this is a human I can relate to!" The god shrouded in light finally speaks saying "My name is Michaela and you have a choice between my power which is the power to heal and use enchanting on others or yourself, then there is Jurgen's power you will receive a multiplier of one-hundred on all your skills and abilities, or Astros's power where you can manipulate any element to its fullest potential." I begin to contemplate on which ability would be better for me. "I tend to use martial arts and swordsmanship, so I think the best option is to go with Jurgens power."

I look at Michaela and say, "I choose Jurgen's power it fits me the most since I prefer physical attacks." Jurgen begins to laugh heartily and says,"Well done. I knew you would choose my power. You will be reborn as my son."You will receive the body of a demi-god and a human a good ole half and half, hahaha." I look at Jurgen and smile as we clasp hands as if we are one and think exactly alike. I say, "It will be an honor to become your son. I will cleave my way through this lost world in your name, father!"

The three gods nod at each other as Jurgen speaks, "It is time my son make your way through the world of Gole and liberate the mortal races killing those who wish to destroy it." Jurgen sends a shroud of darkness into me, sending me backward into a pitch black abyss. I can only think, "This will be fun fighting new enemies!"
