After training in meditation for an entire year, Tom's power level reached a whopping Two thousand, already surpassing the original Raditz's power level while only being a bit more than a year old. This was partially due to the Level Ups increasing his power level by fifty per level as well as the Gravity ring which doubled the already high gravity of Planet Vegeta. The biggest boost that Tom gained however was from his Title [Ki Control Genius] which substantially increased his Ki control abilities and Ki reserves.

Knowing that Prince Vegeta was born around the same time as him with a power level of Five hundred, and that King Vegeta would probably exile or kill any Saiyan child with a higher or even close power level to secure his sons future rule, Tom kept his power suppressed all of the time except for during his Image training, which wouldn't be picked up by any scouters.

As Tom continued his image training he blitzed behind a Saibamen, it was only being able to look back before he blasted it out of mental existence with a smirk, a moment later, two Saibamen rushed in to grab him. Although he could easily evade the attack he still allowed them to grab him as he raised his guard with his Ki. With two foul smirks they both blew themselves up in a Kamikaze. Once the dust settled Tom emerged with only some light scratches and a smile.

As he was beginning to feel satisfied with his progress in one year, he sensed Bardock had returned, this time with a woman who was probably his mother, Gine.

"If they're here then I'm either gonna be transferred to Bardock's house, or be sent out to a low-level planet to destroy. Man, and here I am without a plan for what I'll do if I'm sent out, it's not like I'm actually gonna massacre a planet full of intelligent life, but I don't know what could happen if I failed a mission." Tom contemplated.

Once Bardock and Gine were in front of the incubator Tom opened up his eyelids to look at Gine. She was a pretty saiyan woman with mildly long black hair and long eyelashes, she wore green female saiyan armor that formed a skirt, and pink arm guards.

When she saw Tom's face she gave him a heart warming smile "Hello Raditz, I'm so happy to finally see you again my son" she cheerfully said as she put her hands on Raditz's Incubator.

"Don't get your hopes up, Gine, he only had a power level of fifty last year when I checked on him. We should see how much his power level increased before we decide if-" Bardock stated as Gine grabbed his arm to stop him from clicking his scouter.

"Bardock!! It doesn't matter what his power level is, he is our first born so we should love and take care of him the same, either way!" Gine yelled scoldingly while angrily glaring at him for his words.

"Uh, oh sorry Gine, I just wanted him to take after his father and become strong, but I guess you're right, he'll be happier if I don't pressure him for being weak" Bardock said as he put his hand on the incubator.

"And don't call him weak either, can't you see that he's looking at us" Gine pointed out.

"You don't think he understands us do you, Gine? You realize he's probably too young to hear or understand anything, you know?" Bardock asked mockingly.

"You can't ever underestimate him since he's our child, I believe he'll grow up to be exceptionally strong, just like you Bardock" she said with confidence and passion as she stared into his eyes.

"Gine" Bardock smiled as he walked to her to hug and kiss her.

As the unusual kissing scene unfolded before him, Tom began to think " Wow, this is unsettling, I guess these two are the trailblazers when it comes to Saiyans showing affection to their mates like this. Something I've never really thought about was how these two were truly good parents. Bardock fought for his children and his entire race, and Gine hand picked the Earth as the best place to send Goku when Bardock knew about Frieza's betrayal. I really can't believe how rough Raditz must have had it since he became so evil even though he had such great Parents. He sure was unlucky compared to Goku not to have grown up in a better place, if he did he might have reached the same heights that Goku did or even higher. I feel bad for him(sighs) it was a shame"

When Tom finished his thoughts he heard a message ring out from the system.

Left confused by this message Tom felt a sudden pain inside of him, this pain wasn't his body however but his soul. He felt as if an extreme heat was rising from deep inside of him, exponentially getting warmer till it was boiling hot. After about ten seconds of toughing it out, the pain from the heat subsided and instead provided Tom with a soothing comfort, it felt so good he couldn't help but smile.

Although extremely painful for a bit, Tom now felt even better than before.

"This feels awesome, I guess having a Human soul in a Saiyan body was suppressing some of my power but I feel it now. I feel the rush of my power and a strong urge to fight. I've been training up to this point out of a feeling of necessity almost, keeping up a steady progress so that when the time comes for me to fight I wouldn't be too weak, but now even thinking of fighting seems really fun compared to before. With this, I feel like I can't lose to anyone, although I know in my head that that's far far from the truth.
