The Third God of Shinobi
Time passes...
He takes care of Obito more than ever...his adopted little brother, the child he sees as a son... he becomes the only person left for him to be alive for.
He is just 20.... he is young, his entire life is in front of him, but his heart has already stopped beating.

"This is my Nii-sama," Obito introduces happily.
he smiles as he does in front of Obito, sweet, warm and gentle, but so cold at the same time. he bows perfectly towards Minato, because they were the bonds his little brother created, Minato looked at him little feared, no one among the present knows this, but he does... the man Obito introduced as Nii Sama, is an extremely powerful shinobi, whose kenjutsu, genjutsu and speed knows no bounds, whose talents was a talk of all 5 elemental nations
Rin blushes and bows back and Kakashi ignores him and gets into a fight with Obito.
Ryo wonders if they are truly so naïve as to act as though they are children and not shinobi who were trained to fight and kill.
His eyes stare at Obito, he doesn't know what he will do if anything happens to his little brother
his heart is too cold and tired.

He was asked to be the bodyguard of Lord Hokage as they made it to the head of Uchiha clan Uchiha fugaku, they held the function because his wife was pregnant, Ryo felt betrayed

Ryo and Mikoto were alone, it was too awkward so she tried to leave
"Are you pregnant with his child?", asked Ryo as he stared at his light
"Yes, I am sorry", she left after saying so little, she didn't even greet him anymore
He could hear her chocking sound, she was crying...she was crying because of him, he is afraid of hurting her
He vows to never meet her again... ever
He finally accepted the reality, his light was gone, his best friend was gone, Hotari was gone, his teacher, his sister they all were gone.....forever

Time passes he was sent on more and more missions, he is 21...
The first time he meets Uchiha Itachi is after a solo assassination mission. He is young, not even two years old, and wandered off from his mother. He clenched his fists, he was Itachi Uchiha, the proof of the love of fugaku and Mikoto, he wondered if he should just kill the child, with his skills no one would ever know no matter who...
He left, he is not a monster, he will not kill a child who did nothing wrong...
he pays Itachi no attention as he walks through the crowd of people who do not notice the faint blood stains on his clothes or the weapons hidden in his sleeves.
he feels a tug on her shirt and looks down and black obsidian eyes were staring at him
"Mama? Where?"
Itachi is calm and does not cry like ordinary children.
"Just like the cold beauty Mikoto", Ryo felt overwhelming emotions as he looked at Itachi's eyes
he smiles, a genuine gentle smile, the child is Mikoto's kid, his light, his first and only love
"What's your name?"
"Uchiha Itachi."
Ryo nods and bends down till he is at his height. With two fingers he presses against Itachi's forehead.
"And what are you doing so far from the compound Bocchan?"
Itachi scowls and rubs his forehead in the spot where this weird old man has tapped, "Lost mama." His voice resembles a petulant child
"I'll take you home."
Itachi holds onto his hand with such blind trust like they know each other for years
"Just like Obito, so pure, so innocent", thought Ryo as he brought Itachi back to Uchiha compound

That first meeting spirals into several meetings, with Itachi, started following him, At first Ryo is slightly annoyed but soon grows used to Itachi following after him like a second Obito.
Itachi attempts to copy his movements with limbs too small and slow and delicate.
he smiles and laughs as he used to with Hotari and Shouji and feels his heart grow light.

Itachi Uchiha was a genius, a pure and absolute genius just like him, no matter what Ryo throws at him, he learned it

It's been a year since Itachi started following him, the boy trusted him just like a child would trust his parents
Ryo watched Itachi from afar with a blur and lone tear falling from his eyes, he wondered if he had a son with Mikoto, it would definitely be like Itachi, the boy resembles him too much, he was an extreme genius like him, Itachi genjutsu talents were incredible as well, definitely not the overwhelming talents he had but close enough

He was given his first forbidden S-rank mission,
This is an S rank forbidden and highly confidential mission, you will be given the contents only after you agree to join
He agreed
"You are to get kidnapped by Kumo shinobis, there kill a prisoner...here is the file of the one that you need to eliminate, few things for you to know once you get kidnapped you will be tortured or might even be killed...you will be given a seal before going so that you will not be able to say anything about Konoha secrets!! you are dismissed..."

It's been a little over a year, he completed his mission already he killed the prisoner and now all that's left was escaping
"AHH..AGHH...ARRRGHHHHHHHH" He screamed. The knife digging into the side of his abdomen. Ryo's wrists pulling hard at the restraints keeping him pinned to the table.
"Shut up little shit. Were only having fun right? At least this isn't punishment. You do deserve some though..."
Ryo shivered involuntarily. 'No... Please, not that.. never again' "Go to hell." He whimpered. The man smirked and pulled back the knife. Throwing it on the table next to Ryo he went to wash the blood from his hands. Ryo panted. 'Thank god it's over...' The man walked back over to Ryo with an evil smile on his lips 'Now or never' he kicked the man in his face causing him to fall to the floor and yelp in pain. The man stood back up red in the face and glaring daggers with his eyes screaming
"Your gonna pay for that one" The man grabbed the knife and stuck it to the handle in Ryo's thigh.
Ryo screamed out in pain, tears forming in the corners of his eyes. 'Just a little longer' he thought.
The man twisted the knife causing Ryo to scream even more
Before the man even knew what had happened Ryo painfully wrapped his legs around the man's waist and forcefully brought him forward. The man fell on top of Ryo giving him the chance to bite the man's shoulder. The man let out a yelp as blood flowed freely from his shoulder.
Ryo then moved his head to the man's pocket on his chest and bit down on a pair of keys hanging loosely from it. Kneeing the man in the crotch he fell to his knees grabbing at the pained area. Ryo kicked him in the face knocking him out cold.
'only one shot at this', he thought as he brought his feet towards his head to grab the keys. When he got hold of them he quickly brought his feet to the restraints and slowly and carefully began to unlock the first cuff.
After what felt like an eternity passed Ryo moved his freed hand and unlocked the second cuff. He rubbed his sore wrists and checked the rest of his body for injuries. His thigh was bleeding heavily and now that the adrenaline was gone the pain tripled. Next was his abdomen. It was a sharp cut going from his right hip to his navel. Not very deep but still hurt like a hell. Ryo grunted as he made his way from the table and over to the door in the room. Finally, he would escape from this hell.
Finally, he could go home.

On Konoha main gates, a limp body was on the ground who's breathing was irregularly fast and was wearing a ragged cloth blood coming from a wound somewhere on his head, sticking out all over the place.
"Ryo!" suddenly came the voice of Mikoto, who was returning from some mission. She was checking his pulse.
"His heart rate is abnormally fast. We need to get him to a doctor." Mikoto yelled at Village guard. The village guard cleared his head. He picked Ryo up in his arms and ran out of the alley with Uchiha princess
When they got him to the doctors they immediately started working on him doing everything they could to keep the missing-nin breathing while Hokage informed another doctor everything that had happened. Mikoto swore his heart stopped twice, and then a third time not starting back up again for a couple of minutes.
Mikoto, go home, now you are married with a child....you must not be so be feeling this way for another man", said Hokage as he watched
Mikoto fists clenched, as she kept crying seeing the person she ever loved in this life in this state breaks her more than ever
"if you love him so much, why did you left him"
"If I had a choice, I would have been with him for the eternity or beyond that for all I know, after all, he is my light", said Mikoto as she left the hospital
Hokage sighed, "Remove the seal on him", as he made his way outside as well

For weeks to come, Ryo never let anyone touch him. When the doctor comes to give him check-ups he has to barely touch him. Or he will freak out. He doesn't talk much anymore either. And he isn't taking care of himself. He doesn't eat as much as he used to and he eats a lot slower. Savoring the taste. when was the last time he had a bath? Sure he wasn't the most hygienic person but now he fears water. He has a hard time drinking it too.
He was alone
He was broken
He wants a hug, no one was there
He wants someone to say something to soothe him, no one did
He cried, no one cares
He made his way to the memorial stone, the only place where he can be at peace, he caresses the names of Yukimura sensei, hotari, shouji, Keiko... the world of dead for him is far better than the world of the living

The mission was an astounding success, Kumo never guessed what hit them, the prisoner that could have given them an incredible amount of information was dead, they never even suspect that he was assassinated, so they will not investigate him
In 3 weeks, Ryo was in perfect state, even the torture wounds were gone, No one ever gets to find out about his experience else than Hokage himself

"Nii-sama! Guess what... I'm finally going on an A-rank mission!" Obito exclaims jumping in excitement.
"Even though stupid Kakashi is second in command of the team, we're going to Kannabi Bridge in a few weeks so I have to prepare!"
"Nii-sama! When I come back I'll tell you all about it!"
He hugs little Obito tightly
"I love you, I will be waiting"
Obito grinned as he scratches his hair, "I love you too, I will be back soon, I promise"

The council sends him onto another assassination mission.
When he returns, he is sent as a backup to Kannabi Bridge.
His arrival is greeted with shock and guilt and sorrow. Rin collapses into his arms crying and Kakashi turns away clutching his left eye.
Obito is dead.
Dead and gone.
Never to return.
'I will be back soon, I promise'
'Liar', thought Ryo
His return back to Konoha is forgotten under the sorrow and misery that clings to the village.
Minato, Rin, and Kakashi meet him in front of the Memorial Stone where he is bent down, his fingers caressing Yukimura-sensei, Hotari, Shouji, Keiko and now the recent entry of Obito
"Did he die smiling?" his voice didn't hold a single emotion
Rin's voice chokes as she begins to cry.
"Yeah, like the idiot he is," Kakashi's voice comes out in a whisper, broken.
Ryo does not say anything to comfort them nor does Minato.
"I'm sorry," Minato whispers as he walks past by them.
"Don't be."
Ryo stopped going to his house anymore, every single moment of his time in the village was spent in front of Memorial stone

He started to go into sealings (Fuinjutsu), it was tough but he learned the basics in just 2 months
"I guess, the rumors of your Overwhelming talents are true after all HAHAHA", Jiraiya laughed as he watched the boy making incredibly overwhelming progress, the rate of progress is so fast that he is sure the boy will be at his level in just a few years and to think he is into fuinjutsu for so long, truly someone whose talents make you desperate
Ryo didn't laugh, he stopped laughing for a long time

The council was happy with Ryo's performance, they send him on more and more S-rank missions
He comes back Broken every single time, he needed at least 3 weeks to recover from every single mission, Council didn't care they just want the mission done
They didn't stop to think for a moment, they didn't take the godly talents he has into account
After every mission he comes back more and more powerful, containing more and more killing intent, he was better, he was faster
After some time, Council began fearing him, Ryo could not be defeated anymore, his kenjutsu, genjutsu, Fuinjutsu, and his speed surpass the limits, his leadership, his planning surpassed any Nara
He doesn't come home from S-rank mission being broken anymore, he started doing it effectively, last 5 S-rank missions were done in 3 days without a single scratch on his body
It was even rumored that he could take on Kyuubi on his own in a one on one battle
He got his own name in Bingo book SS-rank threat, 'Ryo of Konoha' his nickname was 'The One' and they call him 'The third God of Shinobi' {First Hashirama, second sarutobi}
