Crossing the portal, Entering a new world.

After using the portal gun, there was a light shot from the barrel and after going ten meter it suddenly began to expand in the shape of a wormhole. I have to say the visual effects were really cool. It looked liked a wormhole have been opened in the middle of a galaxy cluster.

When opening the portal I specified for the world to be technologically advanced, which is rich with resources and the settings would be post-apocalyptic. One of the reasons being that in a post apocalyptic world would be for those who are strong have the final say. And I'm certain that with the firepower I have right now there's a 90% chance of me being the strongest. Anyway if it comes to it you can always go back any time. The other reason for choosing this would be one of my fantasies as a big novel reader. You must know that I have read a lot of novels and if you convert it into percentage there would be more than 70% of them being a post apocalyptic world.

"Eve, ready the spaceship."

'What,' did you think I'd explore the whole world by walking on foot? Although I called it a Spaceship, currently it doesn't have any warp capabilities. But after coming back from this trip I'm pretty sure I can make it work.

"Yes, Sir Ryan." After Eve's reply, the ground began to open up and from there came an exquisite spaceship. For the design aspect I tried to make it look a little elegant with a luxurious vibe. The colour is fully white and the interior of the ship is very futuristic. But don't be fooled by its appearance. It is fully equipped with state of the art weapons systems. As the base fire power there are rapid fire machine guns, Which open from below the ship. On the two sides, there are long range torpedoes and missiles. And Finally after being given command, a hatch opens on the rooftop and forms a big giant annihilation cannon. So yeah, it's got one hell of a fire power. But to maintain its elegant appearance, all these are kept and only come out when being given command for attacking something.

After getting on the ship, I sat on the commander's chair. Soon after all the drones got to its designated place and the five steel warriors came beside me as good subordinates. After the final checkup I gave Eve the final command.

"Let's go, Eve."

"Yes, Sir Ryan." Eve's voice came from the command center. She's in control of everything in this ship, and I'm just a passenger.

And soon after the ship took off from the ground and slowly entered the portal.

In the portal there was not much of a feeling of discomfort. It felt like going up or down through a lift. But the visual effects felt like traveling through a warp space.

After like 30 seconds we crossed the portal and what came into my view was a dessert. There was metal type of wreckage here and there laying on the sides.

"Eve"

"On it, Sir Ryan. Deploying the exploration drones."

"Deployment complete. The data is displayed on the screen."

There was a series of information and video footage sent from the drones. Judging from the information this planet was technically advanced and there seems to be some kind of battle taking place. There are some small life signatures that can be found here and there but it seems to be really small. Although there are some anomalies and energy wave data which doesn't match with the marvel world data. I guess these are different kinds of materials than the marvel world and exactly what I needed the most right now.

"Eve, deploy the gathering drones and war drones. And send some material transportation ships through the portal to bring these materials to the secret warehouse."

"As you command, Commander."

"Commander? Are you serious right now?"

"'Hehe' Yes of course I'm serious. You are the great Commander of this starship. So, of course I have to address you as such."

"Huh' whatever. Do what you like."

"Anyway, set the timer at one month. I'll be staying in this world for only one month."

No way, I'm just 9 years old right now. For this one month I had to give so many excuses to Ms. Pepper, and I have to say it was more difficult to convince her than making the portal gun.

"The timer has been set. Good luck, Sir Ryan."

"Thanks, Eve. Let the exploration begin."
