Unexpected discovery!

Ayden and Ozpin arrived at his office and sat down.

Ayden: "So....what's the mission?"

Ozpin: "This time the mission concerns a group of hunters."

Ayden: "Hmmm?"

Ozpin: "It's now been several days since they went on recon missions after we were told of heavy grimm activity in a certain area in a forest. The thing is, we have no more news. of the squad for several days."

Ayden: "So you want me to go and see what's going on right?"

Ozpin: "Indeed, but I want you to be careful, I don't know what you might find once there."

Ayden: "Understood, where do I have to go?"

Ozpin: I will contact roger to take you there."

Ayden: No need to bother him, just give me the coordinates."

Ozpin: "Are you sure?"

Ozpin gave the coordinates to ayden on his scroll, once he received them ayden left the office and headed to a secluded corner of the academy.

Once he was sure no one was there, he looked at the coordinates.

Ayden: "Hmmm it's several hours away from the academy but with my flying speed it shouldn't be a problem."

He put away his scroll and took off at full speed. After two hours of flying at high speed, Ayden arrived on site much faster than if he had come with Roger's bullhead.

He landed somewhere close to the coordinates and began to search the area for signs indicating the presence of the hunting party.

He walked for several minutes, strangely he didn't see any grimms contrary to what ozpin had told him, maybe the group of hunters has already taken care of the grimms present in the area.

He scoured the woods for quite a while looking for signs indicating the presence of hunters but he found nothing. He paused for a moment to think about a way to find them when something called out to him, a smell in the air, a smell he had smelled before, the smell of blood.

He closed his eyes and concentrated on the smell and the direction of the wind in order to find the origin of the smell. After a while he had a rough idea of ​​the direction of the smell and headed there.

It didn't take him long to get to the source of the smell, the closer he got the stronger the smell of blood got.

Eventually he arrived at what looked like a camp.

Ayden: "Looks like I found them."

All the hunters were at the camp except that he was all dead. Ayden approached one of the bodies and touched it to find that it was cold as ice indicating that they had been dead for a while.

He then looked at the wounds of the body and found that the person had his throat cut, he inspected the other bodies and found that they had died the same way.

He looked around the camp and could see that there was no sign of fighting which means they were probably killed when they weren't expecting it, maybe in their sleep. One thing is certain, given the origin of the injuries, it is not a grimm who caused the massacre of another person.

Ayden continued to survey the camp when he stopped short, feeling something watching him. He stood still concentrating on his surroundings, paying attention to every sound.

He stayed like that for a moment when his instinct hit him suddenly, a shot rang out and Ayden pulled his head back seeing a bullet pass in front of his eyes and crash into the trunk of a tree.

He turned his head in the direction the shot was coming from.

A figure came out from behind a tree and Ayden could see the shooter.

Ayden recognized who he was straight away, white clothes, brown hair tied in a long ponytail, yellow eyes and a scorpion tail wagging behind him, it was fucking Tyrian.

Tyrian: "I expected him to send people to investigate what happened but to send a kid, ozpin must be really short of personnel hahahahaha!"

Ayden remained silent and just stared at him coldly.

Tyrian: "Aren't you the talkative type? Never mind, I have to take care of you now and I don't have time to talk, I still have research to do for our mistress so either nice and die!

Tyrian activated his blades around his arms and rushed at ayden at full speed but just as he was about to reach him ayden disappeared completely.

Tyrian: "What the.....!"

He had no time to react as Ayden was right behind him and grabbed his tail and snatched it.

Ayden was still holding Tyrian's tail and thrust the stinger into his eye, he pushed one last time driving it even deeper then let go leaving Tyrian to die slowly on the ground his tail thrust into his eye.

Ayden was not one to kill his opponents but for such trash only one end was possible.

He began to think about what he should do now. he remembered what tyrian said about doing research.

Intriguing he began to look around for what he could be looking for, did this have something to do with the significant presence of grimms although none were seen?

He continued to walk while thinking when suddenly the ground under his feet broke causing him to fall into a hole. he fell for what seemed like fifty meters before he remembered he could fly.

He stopped in the middle of a fall and looked around but everything was plunged into darkness. He took out his scroll and turned on the flashlight to see where he was and that's when he saw something he hadn't expected.

He was standing in a wide open area and in front of him was what looked like an underground temple.

Ayden remained in the air contemplating what he had just discovered then flew to the entrance of the temple.

Ayden: "Is that what he was looking for?

His curiosity was too great that he could not prevent himself from entering the temple. He walked into a huge hall supported by a huge pillar, the tapestries on the walls were completely torn.

He finally sees the end of the corridor and arrives in a gigantic room, the room was filled with shelves as big as houses on which rested books, extremely old weapons and many other objects. In the middle of the room was what looked like an altar.

Ayden began to explore the place and inspect what was on the shelves. He found books written in a language he didn't understand, swords that had been rusting for years and even objects he had no idea what it was.

He continued to search when his attention was caught by a noise coming from behind him, he looked behind him to see a golden aura with red and blue reflections emanating from the altar.

He decided to approach it very slowly while remaining on his guard ready to react. He was only a few meters from the altar when the aura disappeared completely.

Ayden: "Huh?"

Startled, he came completely close to the altar and examined it. Symbols were engraved on it but nothing else.

He was about to turn around when the aura from earlier exploded from the altar and spread throughout the room. the blast from the explosion sent Ayden flying into a wall knocking him out.

Several hours passed before he regained consciousness.

Ayden: "What...what happened? There was an explosion and after that I don't remember anything....."

He looked around not seeing the aura anywhere, he turned his head towards the altar and saw that he was broken in two.

Ayden: "Something happened, I'm not dreaming!"

???: "Indeed! You're not dreaming little one."

A voice of extreme depth echoed throughout the room. Ayden gasped and looked around.

Ayden: "Who's there, show yourself!"

???: "You won't see me."

Ayden: "How come I wouldn't see you, for sure if you stay hidden I won't see you."

???: "You don't understand what I mean.

???: "I mean you can't see me because I'm inside you."

Ayden was starting to panic, he clearly wasn't expecting such a thing but he regained his composure and decided to sit down and close his eyes. He then entered his mindscape and what he found there was beyond anything he expected.

Before him stood a Chinese dragon of a colossal size. He had golden scales as well as red fur with a light blue base that was shaped like a giant flame, two pairs of huge horns and reptile eyes so clear they looked like crystal.
