Crimson Rose, Silver Tiger

"Ruby, how long are you gonna read that magazine?" Jin said with an impatient tone.

He and Ruby has stayed in this Dust shop for a good thirty minutes now. But, Ruby was still not done in reading her magazine for some reason, even though it didn't have more than fifty pages.

Jin was completely bored right now as he had nothing to do, other than watching the little red being so immersed in her weapons magazine.

He could also grab and read his own magazine to kill some time, but the magazines around here weren't really interesting in his eyes, so he didn't bother on reading them.

'I didn't come here to watch you read that magazine and satisfy your weapon fetish.' Jin thought helplessly with a mental sigh.

He was completely bored right now and wanted to leave, but his sister, Ruby, doesn't want to yet.

"Come on, just let me finish this first." Ruby said while still reading the magazine.

Jin just rolled his eyes and let out a sigh, "Fine, but only a few more minutes and were going home."

Ruby just did a few nods in response, and Jin pulled out his own earphones.

(Authors Note: Earphones and Headsets are different. Know the difference sheeple.)

He just decided to wait her out by listening to some music, so he putted his earphones on and started listening to Bohemian Rhapsody.

'Wait a minute.....The stuff Ruby is doing right now.....This is...' Jin thought with a sudden realization.

What time it was, the Dust Shop they were in, and what Ruby was doing right now. He pieced them together and he finally remembered something.

'This situation is too familiar.....Oh this is where the plot starts.' Jin thought with a slight smile.

He couldn't help but feel some excitement in the situation he was in right now.

Afterall, he was a reincarnator from another world who was a fan of the franchise, RWBY. But know that he only managed to watch it mid-way through Season 3, as he was a little late in his fascination of the RWBY franchise in his past life.

As for how he ended up reincarnating in this world, that's a story to be told for another day. It can only be said that he was a unique individual from Earth before he reincarnated here.

'Looks like I'm gonna be a part of this, huh. I'm gonna be a part of all of this.' Jin thought with a slight smile.

He was weirded out at the strange twist that fate did. Ruby was the only one that was suppose to be here, but now he was going to be involved as well.

Was it a coincidence that Ruby wanted him to come with her in this shop? Or was it a strange stunt that fate did in order to get him be involved in the tales Remnant.

Regardless of it all, Jin accepted the change. He himself was already a big change, so there was bound to be some changes in the world as well, and he was fated to get involved in the conflicts to come.

Especially because he was reborn as a sibling of one of the main characters in RWBY, as well as causing some troubles in Vale in his earlier days and meeting some people in the cannon earlier than the main characters should've met.

'I originally trained because I was so interested into having power and getting stronger. But now, I'm going to be involved in the problems to come, huh.'

Jin was just an eccentric man that likes to do whatever he wants. If he is seen doing something that seems bizzare, then don't bother on asking him why, as he would just reply 'Why? Because I can'.

'Well, I'm already here. I can only wait and see on how all things will go.'

Jin then walked up mid-way to the entrance of the shop, and he was looking at its doors with a slight smile of anticipation.

'They'll be here anytime now.'

He then looked at Ruby again, who was on the corner of the shop, still fixing her eyes on the weapons magazine.

Once she completely involves and immerses herself in some kind of activity, it would be very hard for her to get off from it.

Specially because she was wearing some headsets and was listening loudly to music right now, she might barely notice the changes that was going on around her.

'I guess the only way to truly stop her from reading, is the interruption from the robbers.'

Jin then decided to just wait it out by listening to music, so he just turned around and went back to the corner with Ruby.

'One of them is bound to notice us and come to this corner anyway, so I'll just wait here.'

Just as Jin went back to the corner, the scene now takes us to Roman Torchwick, and his eight henchmen that was walking down an alley-way and towards the street.

Roman had a bowler hat on his head and was wearing a white suit, grey scarf and black pants. He has a slanted, dark-green eyes and a bright long orange hair, with long bangs covering his right eye and a black eyeliner is traced on his visible left eye.

Oh, and he also has his signature cane. Which was a cane and in the same time a gun, like any other hunter weapons in RWBY.

Roman suddenly stopped in his tracks and his henchmen did the same, he noticed that the light from his cigar was put out. He then magically re-ignites it just by looking at it before grinning as he proceeded to walk openly down the street.

The city of Vale has experienced an increase in crime at the hands of Roman Torchwick. He was famous all around and he was recognizable on sight.

Not knowing him was like not knowing Jesus.

The moment the civilians on the streets saw him, they all froze. Many of them immediately backed away in fright to open a way down the street for him and his henchmen.

They didn't want to get themselves in trouble, nor be involved in any kind of activity that the infamous criminal was going to do.

Thankfully, Roman didn't mug any of them, as he and his goons only made their way towards the dust shop where the twins were staying at.

"Alright, four of you, stay outside and keep watch. And the rest of you, on me." Roman ordered before going in the shop.

The door opened and the bells jingled once again. The elderly shopkeeper then looked up at the potential customers, only to be perplexed at what he saw.

There were five men: four of them wore black suits and bowler hats with red glasses, while the fifth had orange hair that swept over his right eye, and wore a white suit.

The orange haired man flicked his cigar before stepping forward and leaning over the counter. He then feasted his eyes at the Dust crystals that the shop had on display before looking up at the shopkeeper.

"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?" The man in white suit asked.

After his words, one of the men that seemed to be his minions, immediately pulled out a firearm and aimed it at the shopkeeper's face.

Instinctively, the old man raised his arms in fear, now he recognized the man.

He was Roman Torchwick, a notorious thief. Well known for his strange methods and his affable behavior as a criminal, but when annoyed, he can be terrifying.

He has managed to escape the police for months and prevent himself from being captured. Also, he would always use guile, bribery, intimidation, and threats when doing his criminal works.

"P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!" the old man begged in fear.

(Authors Note: Lien is the money currency in RWBY.)

Roman just simply shushed at him in response with a reassuring tone, as a misguided attempt to lessen his fear.

But the effect was immediately lost when the old man saw that the gun was still being pointed at him.

"Calm down. We're not here for your money." Roman reassured the shopkeeper.

His eyes then swiveled to his minions and he ordered, "Grab the Dust."

One of the henchmen then placed a black briefcase on the counter and opened it. Inside, was a row of canisters, well known for storing Dust in its liquefied form.

While in this form, Dust could be used as fuel for machines, as well as could be synthesized to coat arrows, weapons and bullets of any kind of materials, giving them a variety of 'magical' effects.

Three of the men grabbed the canisters and attached them to the large tubes of liquefied Dusts placed on the walls of the store, draining them dry in seconds.

The fourth henchman then placed a briefcase on the counter and gestured to the crystals on display underneath.

"Crystals. Burn. Uncut." The man gestured to the display case. The shopkeeper could only nervously picked up the Dust crystals one by one and began to fill in the briefcase.

All that could help him now.....was a miracle.

The criminals was progressing on with their robbery smoothly, until a random mobster noticed two teenagers standing at the corner of the store.

A young man was busy on doing something on his scroll, while a young woman was reading a magazine. They seem to be siblings from just judging from the color of their hair.

The two also had other things in common: They were not paying attention to their surroundings and was just listening to music with their headphones.

These kids seemed to easy targets, if they managed to mug them while they're here, then they'll earn some extra profits. So he then pulled out his red bladed sword and pointed it at them.

"Alright, kids! Put your hands up where I can see em!"

..

..

He didn't get a response, the teenagers were still doing their own thing.

The henchman was now getting annoyed. He was being paid good money to help his boss on stealing and robbing Dusts, not to pester teenagers.

"Hey, I said put your hands in the air! You got a death wish or something?!"

He then started to walk towards them and threateningly patted the fuller of his blade on the teenage boy's arm shoulder.

"Hm?" Jin felt something metallic and cold touch his shoulder, he then turned around while taking off his earphones.

He saw a man in a suit, he was also wearing a bowler hat and had red sunglasses while pointing a sword near his face.

"I said, put your hands in the air, now!" The man said.

'Oh look, there he is...' Jin thought while looking at the man as if he was an insect. He then poked Ruby with his elbow.

"Hm?"

Ruby looked at him and she also removed her headset, "What?"

Jin responded by pointing at the guy in front of them. Ruby then looked up at the guy in a suit and was wearing red sunglasses, with a red sword on his hand.

'What's that weirdo doing? Oh, wait.....'

"I said put your hands up in the air, right now!" The man exclaimed again as he furiously pointed his sword at them.

The twins just looked at each other before looking back at the man.

"Are you.....robbing us?" Ruby asked.

The mobster had enough, it was as if these kids went through this every night.

What could they possibly do to him? They were just a bunch of kids, but now he had a job to do.

"YEES!"

"Ohhhh…" Ruby smiled, it was like she relished the thought of being mugged.

And before the goon could blink, Jin suddenly grabbed the man's wrist and twisted it. This caused the man's arm to produce a snapping sound at a broken bone as he screamed loudly in pain.

"AAAAAHHH!"

Ruby then leaped and did a flying kick to the man's gut, sending the goon flying halfway across the store and crashing into a display rack, burying him in packets of powdered Dust and ammunition clips.

Roman heard the commotion, and he simply looked at his downed minion while fidgeting with a red Dust crystal. He then did a head gesture to the other henchman, indicating he wants to know what's going on.

The goon immediately ran to the scene, he then noticed the twins and he approached them while raising a gun in his hand.

"Freeze!"

Just as he said this, Jin turned into a blur as he launched himself forward and gave the man a thunderous punch to the chest. The man was electrecuted and he broke a few ribs as he was sent flying!

*Crash!*

The man flew into the glass window of shop, shattering it and putting the man lying on the ground while groaning pain.

Trails of red rose petals and lightning can be seen going out of the shop as the twins quickly followed behind him in a flash.

Jin approached the man with a light smirk as he looked at the man's fingers, "Who the hell were you pointing that gun at, huh?"

Jin then proceeded to ruthlessly step on the man's fingers, and it produced a chilling cracking sounds of bones being broken.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!" The man screamed in agony before falling silent as Jin kicked him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

"Jin!" Ruby called out in a scolding tone.

The male twin then looked at her with a raised eye brow, "What? He's a bad guy. He just tried to rob us."

"Yes! But don't just take things too far! You didn't need to break his fingers!"

"Yeah, sending him flying and crashing into the window which possibly broke his back isn't taking things 'too far'." Jin said in a sarcastic tone.

'And while breaking his ribs...' He additionally thought.

Ruby was about to say something again, but she was then cut off by another voice.

"HEY!!" A voice yelled at them, causing the twins to stop arguing and look at the source.

They saw some several men in black suits, as well as a man in a white suit with orange hair. He was scowling at the twins through the broken window.

Jin smirked at the sight of the man, and the man widened his eyes upon seeing the silver eyed youth. But soon, the man's face turned into anger and slight fear.

"YOU AGAIN?!"

"Good meeting you again, Roman. How are you doing?" Jin said with a mocking tone.

This just made Roman's anger grow. He then furiously pointed at the twins and loudly ordered his goons.

"GET THE BRATS!"

The six henchmen immediately moved and twins pulled out their own weapons as they went into their stances.

Ruby unfurled an object into a gigantic scythe that was taller than her by a considerable margin. Its frame is colored red with black trims, its large scythe blade was also formed into a crescent shape.

This is the High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe, a hybrid between a scythe and a sniper rifle, Ruby's weapon, 'Crescent Rose'.

The girl herself had a smirk on her face as she got ready by twirling her weapon around and tauntingly planted its blade into the ground.

As for Jin, he didn't pull out a weapon. Instead, his body were crackling with red electricty as his fists gave off the feeling of thunderous might.

He seemed to be stronger than Ruby by alot, and by alot, it means ALOT.

Ruby was looking at the bad guys with an anticipating smile, while Jin was gazing at them with an indifferent look.

Ruby had always dreamed of helping people and defending those who couldn't fight for themselves. And now, the situation called for her, to stop this robbery and save the day.

As for Jin, he was only doing this so he can do something. He is simply doing it because he wants to.
