Relationships

As all the students were heading to their newly assigned rooms, Emiya stood next to Ozpin waiting for him to say something.

"…"

"…"

"…"

*Sigh*

"Glynda please show him to his room." Ozpin said before leaving.

"Very well, follow me Mr. Uchiha." She said gesturing him to follow her.

"C'mon Glyn, we're close enough to be on a first name basis." Emiya joked.

"As a student of Beacon you will refer to me as Ms Goodwitch." She said without turning back.

Shrugging his shoulders Emiya followed her through the school halls. Familiarizing himself with the area he took note of every place he'd seen in the show. It took roughly 5 minutes for the two of them to reach a door which Emiya presumed was his. Opening the door, Glynda showed him inside. Walking in Emiya was impressed with what he saw. There was a king sized bed, a nightstand, a flat-screen TV and a dresser. Not to mention the size of the room, even the bathroom looked like it could fit all of the whole of team RWBY and JNPR inside of it.

"Pretty big for one person." Waking up from his shock, he looked towards Glynda.

"This was supposed to be a guestroom but due to your situation being special you were given the room." She explained.

"Oh?" Emiya nodded while taking in the sight.

Seeing that he was barley listening, she pulled out a scroll from her pocket.

"I was instructed to give this to you. Ozpin said that any child at your age needed to have one…I…also added in my number in case you ever had a problem." She said with a slightly red face.

Receiving the scroll Emiya looked at her with a gentle smile.

"Thank you Ms Goodwitch. But it seems I've already discovered a problem with the room." Emiya said seriously.

"A problem with the room?"

"Yes, a very serious problem."

Seeing the serious look on his face, Glynda started to seriously look around the room trying to spot any interior deficiencies.

Jumping onto the bed, Emiya looked at the stern Milf.

"The bed feels a bit stiff, can you help me break it in?" Emiya said while grinning from ear to ear.

"…"

It took a few seconds for her to understand the meaning behind his words, but when she did, her face went so red that Emiya was scared that the blood threatened to burst from her head. Running towards her he placed his hand on her shoulders trying to snap her out of her delusion.

"Glynda are you okay!!" Emiya asked sounding panicked.

"less." She mumbled.

"Huh?"

"less" she mumbled again.

"Less? Less what?"

Looking up, her eyes met with his. Before she finally burst.

"SHAMELESS!!"

*SLAP*

Slapping his cheek she stormed out of the room without looking back.

Watching her caused Emiya break into a smile before throwing himself onto the bed.

"Glynda…Your armour's starting to crack."

Donning the academy uniform, Emiya looked at himself in the mirror.

'This makes me look like such as pussy.'

Looking at his reflection once more, he sighed and left the dorm.

Since he had over an hour till lesson started, he thought he might as well get the lay of the land. Oddly enough while he was checking the place out, he bumped into Ms Goodwitch which was a little awkward for the both of them.

"Good morning Mr Uchiha." She sighed.

"Nice to see you to Ms Goodwitch."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

'Fuck! This is awkward as hell.'

"Erm, nice day isn't it?"

"It is."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"So…I start my classes today."

"I'm aware."

[Is she even trying to make this less awkward?]

"Emiya."

'Oh? She used my first name!'

'Is this progress?'

"Do you have some time?"

'Is this milf asking me out!!'

"Yeah, I wasn't really doing much anyway." He said trying to hide the excitement in his voice.

Both Emiya and Glynda walked through the courtyard in silence taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. It was quite awkward at first as none of them had said anything, but soon it became quite serene and atmospheric.

Glynda was the first to strike up a conversation.

"So why were you up so early?" She asked.

Hearing her question he showed a sad smile.

"Back in the forest I had to be awake at all times. The slightest noise could mean my death, so I gained the habit of sleeping lightly. And now that I'm here. Well, I'm finding it a little hard to adjust." I explained.

"I see."

She nodded her head as if she understood.

"Do you miss your mother?" She inquired.

"My mother? I'm sure we had this conversation when Ozpin was around."

"That was then, this is now." She replied.

"*Sigh* Like I said before, I can't even remember her face so I don't have much to miss." I replied casually.

She looked at him in pity.

"Well I'm sure if she was still with us, she'd be proud of you." She said.

"What makes you say that?" I ask curiously.

"What mother wouldn't want to see her child make friends?"

"You know I only make friends with pretty girls right?" Emiya grinned.

His response garnered him an eye roll from the teacher.

"For someone who's lived most of their life in a forest surrounded by monsters, you sure do know how to sweet talk females."

"It's a gift." He smiled

"Hmph" was all he got as a response.

"Glynda?"

"That's Ms Goodwitch!" She glared at him.

Ignoring her glare he continued.

"You said that as a student of Beacon I should address you as Ms Goodwitch right?"

"I did." She said that slowly feeling somewhat uneasy.

"Then you'd have no problem with me calling you Glynda if I dropped out right?" I questioned.

She suddenly came to a halt and gave him a death stare. Remembering that he had nowhere else to go caused her to be angry when she heard that he would leave over such a petty reason.

"Don't. You. Dare. Say. That." She said through grit teeth.

'Is she angry?'

Seeing that Emiya wasn't responding she just let out a sigh.

"Does calling me by my name mean that much to you?"

"Yes" he said with no hesitation.

His response caused her to look at him for a minute before she gave in.

"Fine…You can call me by my name when we're alone, happy now?"

Showing off his best smile, Emiya nodded.

Before he got the chance to further improve his relationship with her, the sight of team RWBY and JNPR running as if their life depended on it reminded him that he had a class to attend.

"Oh shit I'm late! Sorry Glyn I'll catch you later."

Turning away from Glynda, he ran and joined up with the others.

'Glyn? I'm guessing that's the nickname he's decided to give me.'

Unbeknownst to her, a smile had formed on her face.

"We're gonna be late!" Nora squealed in excitement.

"Less talking more running!" Ren reprimanded.

"Guys? Isn't that Emiya coming towards us?" Jaune asked.

Turning their heads to the side, Emiya's speeding figure approaching them came into view.

Catching up to them, he smiled and waved.

"Hey guys! Bye guys!"

Activating his reinforcements he speed past both teams.

"HEY NO FAIR!!" They all screamed.

Seeing Emiya suddenly overtake them, Ruby chose to forgo sisterhood and activated her semblance.

"RUBY!! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Yang yelled.

The class was pretty much the same as in the show except that Ruby actually managed to make it on time.

I took a seat next to Yang as I thought that out of all the girls in the show she was the only fun one to hang out with.

And considering that I'd lived in a forest with nothing but Grimm, this class was even more of a bore than the show could ever explain. Deciding that the class was a waste of time I just checked out my stats and system points.

Team RWBY on the other hand had a more difficult time paying attention. Blake and Yang were sitting up trying to understand how this impacted them as future huntresses, Weiss was taking notes, and Ruby had her head propped in her hand as she took a quick nap until she was woken up by Port's bad joke.

"And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses..."

He looked towards Yang and gave her a wink which she found unsettling.

Placing my hand over Yang's I made it clear to him that she was taken.

While Port was speaking some gibberish that I ignored, Ruby had finally finished off her drawing and showed it to us.

Although me, Yang and Blake found it pretty funny, Weiss looked like she was about to pop a blood vessel.

"The moral of the story? A true huntsman must be honourable!"

Ruby started balancing an apple on her book with a pencil held only by her finger while she made silly faces.

"A true huntsman must be dependable!"

Ruby had fallen asleep again.

"A true huntsman must be strategic, well-educated and wise!"

Now she's picking her nose much to Weiss's anger.

'And I thought I'd fixed their relationship.'

Instead of intervening, Emiya chose to just sit back and watch the show.

"So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?"

"I DO SIR!!" Weiss yelled while raising her arm.

"Well then, lets find out." Port said while gesturing to a cage that wasn't there a minute ago.

"Step forward and face your opponent."
