My Favourite Witch

It turns out you can only dodge homework for a short amount of time until a teacher comes chasing you down for it.

I was avoiding Oobleck and Port as much as possible, but just when I thought I was in the safe zone, I had to run into the strictest teacher in Beacon.

"Oh Shi-

Before I got the chance to run, she grabbed me by the back of my collar and dragged me away.

"I'm innocent I swear!! I didn't start the fire! It was already burning since the world's been turning." I screamed.

"What?" She looked confused and just dragged me away.

Throwing me in an empty classroom she went and sat at her desk while indicating for me to sit at one of the tables.

And surprise, surprise there was no one else in here.

Just me…and Glynda.

"*Gasp* I didn't think you wanted your first time to be in a classroom! We can't do it here, this is a place of learning! What would the children think!! But I gotta say, I didn't think you were this kinky. I guess you brought me in here for some teacher-student roleplay. I call dibs on the student!!" I joked with a perverted smile.

*Smack!*

She slapped me on the back of my head with her riding crop before she left and sat back at her desk.

Rubbing the back of my head I sat at a desk and smiled at her.

"You're playing your role very well, I almost believed you were a teacher disciplining your unruly student." I smirked.

"Since you acknowledge that your unruly, why don't you do something to fix that." She said rolling her eyes.

"Because if I did, then I wouldn't get to see all those cute expressions of yours." I said leaning back on my chair.

"*Sigh* Just do your homework."

"Whatever you say Glyn."

Pulling out my homework I started doodling.

(Glynda POV)

After a few hours of paperwork I finally realized just how late it was. Looking over at Emiya, I saw him sleeping on his desk with his homework spread out on the table.

'What am I going to do with you.'

Its hard to believe that a couple of months ago this young man had been living in a forest surrounded by Grimm. When I first met him I thought he was just some cocky brat who was in way over his head. His scruffy look didn't help his case. But looking at him now, I'm glad that Ozpin gave him a chance. Although I admit that the destructive power he showcased in the Emerald forest did scare me a bit.

And then there was the whole Cardin event. I knew he was bullying the Faunus of school, but if I got involved then I feared that poor Velvet would never stand up for herself. But never in my wildest dreams did I expect Emiya to humiliate Cardin in the way he did. Even now, talk about Beacon's first leader of the micro***** community continues.

He was friendly, treated everyone with respect, the only issues is that he doesn't like giving in his homework and he flirts a bit too much. I've seen him walk around with different girls from different teams almost every day. Then there's the issue of him flirting with me whenever he gets the chance. Though I suppose its good that he only calls me Glyn when its just the two of us.

Walking towards his desk, Glynda took a look at the homework spread across the table. She was surprised to see that they were actually portraits of her. In some of them she was in some very revealing clothes, in others she doing something heroic, but the one that caught her attention the most, was the one where she was wearing a wedding dress. In the bottom right hand corner, there was a sentence.

"My favorite Witch."

Looking at the picture, she turned her attention to the sleeping boy in front of her. To think that this unruly brat could draw something so beautiful.

Taking all of the drawings she ripped them up and threw them in the bin. Taking one last look at the sleeping boy, she put the picture of her in a wedding into her bag and turned the light off.

In a small bar in western Vale, Glynda sat in front of the counter sipping on her wine.

She liked the atmosphere here, not to loud, not to quiet. She had been recommended the place by that drunk Qrow. At first she assumed he only recommended the place because it was called the 'Crow Bar', but after coming here a few times she discovered that the place wasn't actually that bad.

"Fancy seeing you here." A voice called out.

I look to my right and see a familiar face. A woman with tinged rose colored eyes and peach colored hair done up in a bun style.

"Professor Peach?" I said.

"C'mon Glynda, we're out of the academy, just call me Celestia." She smiled. "So what you doing here?"

Calling the bartender over, she ordered a scotch.

Thinking about the picture of me in a wedding dress, I took another swig of my drink before asking Celestia a question.

"Do you ever feel like you wasted your youth?" I asked staring at my drink.

"Hmm… I think everyone thinks about that every once in a while." She hummed. "But its unlike you to be this mopey? What's wrong?"

Chuckling to myself, I ordered another drink.

"You know, its been over 7 years since I've last been asked out on a date." I said playing with my straw.

"Well its they're loss, you're an amazing woman Glynda, any guy should be honored to be with you." Peach comforted.

Taking a minute to think about it, Glynda downed her drink in one gulp.

"When I was younger, I always used to dream about marrying a powerful huntsman and starting a family. We'd get married in front of my old house, just a bit away from the apple tree my parents helped me plant when I was a kid. It would be sunset, and he'd slip the ring onto my finger and whisper into my ear that he loves me. Then we'd fix up the house and raise our kids there. Two boys and one girl. I planed to call them Eric, Jeremiah and Lily after my mother. I'd give up being a huntress and become a teacher. I'd teach my children everything about the world from their semblance to fighting. I'd help design their weapons while my husband got the parts and we'd all gather around and build it together. Then when they grew up and married, they'd visit us with children of their own. We'd tell them stories of our adventures when we were huntsmen and the kids would go wild. I'd treat them to cookies and homemade cake. I'd spoil them rotten and get scowled by my children for being to lenient on them. And when it was time to leave, they'd cry their eyes out not wanting to leave, and I'd go up to them and pat them on the head. Then promise that we would see them again soon and then give them lots of hugs and kisses before they left in their car."

Without realizing it, tears had already started to stream down her face.

Seeing her tears, Peach brought her into a hug and tried to calm her down.

"It's okay, you still have time to make that dream come true." Peach tried to comfort her.

Wiping away her tears Glynda shook her head.

"It's already too late, I'm already in my late thirties, who would want someone like me." She said with a defeated tone.

"I'm sure there's someone." Peach said trying to sound upbeat.

Looking at Peach, the image of a smiling Emiya flashed across her mind.

"T-There may be someone." She said nervously.

"Well there you go!" Peach said with a smile. "Why don't you get with this lucky fella!?"

"I can't. It would be….inappropriate." Glynda muttered.

"Inappropriate?"

"He's a student." She said quietly.

"Oh...…..Well I won't tell if you won't."

Hearing her say that, Glynda looked up in surprise.

Smiling at her, Peach said. "You deserve to be happy Glynda, and who cares if he's your student. If you love him and he loves you, then I say go for it!" She encouraged.

"B-But I don't know if he actually likes me! Plus he's always surrounded by other women!" Glynda panicked.

"C'mon now, don't make excuses. From the way you've been acting, I think we both know that he likes you and that's why you're here trying to drown away your guilt of liking your student through alcohol. And who cares if he has other girls around. You just have to make sure that you're the only one he's looking at." Peach said after paying for her drinks.

"Anyway think it over, I'll see you tomorrow."

And with that, she left.

Watching her go, Glynda thought about their conversation and took out picture Emiya had drawn of her.
